Josh is a GOAT on those riffs he's like a fuckin riff weapon. Been jamming to sylosis as a teenager and this band on all albums never fail. This band fits my taste for riffs. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Josh Middleton remains one of my favourite Rhythm/Lead Guitarists, melody, riff and songwriter from this generation of Metal bands in my opinion. Had the pleasure of experiencing Sylosis live 3 times in Manchester and they absolutely kill it live every single time. Good stuff, keep on smashing it Josh and the rest of the band. Rock on 👏🙌🤘🔥👑
I can't really put my finger on it, but this song is just mesmerizing ... just a very intriguing sonic amalgamation, and I just love the chorus. Aaaaawesome.
My favorite Sylosis song. Amazing riff, too! Definitely has a very old school Metallica sound to it. 🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼 But trying to figure out what amp setup you use... I saw the interview where you showed your modded '77 JMP, but there's no way this was recorded using that. I love my Marshalls, and they sound great, and I got a couple of them, so not hating on Marshall. That tone definitely has the hollow mid-cut punch of an old Mesa Dual Rec 2-channel, like a Rev G, or a Diezel Herbert.... Or maybe an early Block Letter 5150/6505. Also, what tuning do you use? I typically play in CGCFAD on my 6-strings.
Best riff ive heard in a long time, good shit! What strings gauge do you use with drop C tuning? You seems to have quite thick string yet lots of clarity? Thanks!
Sonically, this is a big step up from a production-wise standpoint. But the previous album content-wise takes the cake for me. Both sonically and artistically, the single "Heavy is the Crown" is an epic amalgamation of both for me.
Yea I definitely like the heavy groove and I love this album too and Cycle of Suffering is brilliant as well. However I prefer the faster stuff from these guys sometimes as well and the frenzied, organised chaos you can get as well. Don't think this band have ever put out a shit song though imo.
All the Josh stuff aside…that new bass player’s tone reminds me of Far Beyond era PanterA. That fuggin’ warhog snort that makes you do the Phil face without knowing you’re doing it. Fuck’n A
One of the best guitarists in modern metal
Josh the riff machine man
More like a riff genius too. Josh Middleton the greatest riff master of all time he never disappoints. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Awesome riffage. The bend at the end of the solo with vibrato at the last second is amazing
goosebumps. damnit

The tone is perfect
Josh is my favorite modern guitarist. Fucking love this dude!❤
I’ll pass on talking to the chat bot. Thanks though homie. Keep rocking!

Stand out track for sure! It has an almost ethereal quality to it. I think it being in D harmonic minor might have something to do with it
Джош абсолютно техничный и крутой музыкант. Трэки очень интересные жесткие. Соляки просто Огонь.
This is my favourite by Sylosis since Edge of The Earth. Different energy, of course. But GAT.DAM.
the tone alone is kicking my ass. killer song 🤘

0:29 Which ESP guitar is Josh playing in this video? It's not his signature model.
I think it's a custom shop
Awesome
QUE PEDAZO DE ÁLBUM SACARON LAPUTAMADRE!!
(NECESITABA EL MUNDO HEAVY ÉSTO!)
💪🏽🥰🤘🏽

Best riff ive heard in a long time, good shit!

im afraid this is C# standard tho
@@thecrypticstench that's literally what i said
Good work! Perfect riffing!

One of my favs off the album but how come the other guitar player in this band never gets any love?
I’m sure Josh would let him do stuff like this but maybe he’s just not bothered?
@@AkitaMetalyea Alex Bailey was super humble guy it seems, he even liking my comment on IG in In Flames post.
Where did you get an ESP Frx with a pointy headstock😍
❤❤❤
Killer tune! hey bro what tuning and strings you using now? c#? 11-60? We need a rig rundown !!
All the Josh stuff aside…that new bass player’s tone reminds me of Far Beyond era PanterA.
That fuggin’ warhog snort that makes you do the Phil face without knowing you’re doing it.
Fuck’n A
What is the tuning?
D standard. One step down from standard I believe.
🤘❤️🤘
Will we ever deserve the tabs for this album ?😭
Jack Harris is currently working on them 👍
@@Flippinloon 😎
Loud !!!!!!!!!
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
That intro riff gave me so much old skool Sylosis vibes
New ESP guitar?
Does anyone know what preset comes closest to this tone?
Came here for the same
I’m gonna take a guess and say he cut lows on the EQ that’s for sure 😂
@@AkitaMetal educated guess lol
@@woodward_alan fairly yes, I’ve spent some time obsessing over tones. I’d definitely recommend getting into EQ bands.
Show Josh RIFFS ..METAL GUITAR🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥✴🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Slings and Arrows vibes
What tunning??
big Chimaira energy
Is it Sylosis? No! this is some kind of Hatebreed. In this album, my favorite band died
Sylosis is great band that's for sure but most their riffs is like from band Metallica Master of Puppets And Justice for All and Black album Era...
slipknot could sound like this
Love the guitar, but I feel like it would have been more in the vain of old school sylosis to have gone with emgs instead of Fishman.
Is it new guitar? Some kind of Forest model, but with Classic ESP headstock, am I right?
