I suggest using soap colorant instead of food coloring. Had a friend learn the hard way and stained a tub. You can find it at Michael's or Hobby Lobby in the soapmaking section.

You can colour and scent bath salts with herbal tea bags. Cut open the bags and tip into the wet ingredients, let it sit a while and then add the dry ingredients. My favourite are strawberry and vanilla ones, they smell so yummy.

I make bath salts quite often. I have found that it is better to add to your salts to the jars after at least 24 hours because it tends to clumb and stick together if you don't.....

If your in your 3rd trimester don't use Ylang Ylang, Rose, Cinnamon, Peppermint as it can cause early labour

I have made bath salts, used gliserine with the fragrance and food coloring then mix it with the epsoms salt. I like this one. Sometimes you don't have the gliserine.

There are other bath salt recipes on here that call for coarse salt only so just increase the salt content and I'm sure that will be fine.

You can make it waayyy easier. All you need it food coloring, real sea salt, and essential oils
