Today - with permission from the owner - I work on a 1964 F250 truck that had been sitting for over a decade. Not going to lie, I instantly fell in love with this truck.

Y'all are awesome! I just started watching y'all's junkyard digs channel about a week ago, and I plan on starting my own channel at some point. Y'all give people like me hope. My first revival will be my wife's 1984 Z28 Camaro t-top that hasn't run in over 10yrs. After being fully repainted by a guy that was supposed to restore it. He let it sit and didn't finish the job. So now it's my turn. Keep turning wrenches y'all are an amazing team and an inspiration to all is motorheads.

Them old y blocks had a habit of plugged oil lines going to the lifters. The remedy was to run outside oil lines up to the lifters.

it’s not called Juice for that big tank with the long straw to drink in the cabin of the truck it’s called Hooch which in the South and Appalachia is code for Moonshine i heard a story about a guy years ago that did use his Windsheild Washer system slightly modified to pump his Booze into the Cabin when he was driving around in his truck

Doing will it run on other people's vehicles is genius because alot of RUclipsrs find and buy them and you either see them get rid of them or they keep them and you always catch a glimpse of them in the background of there other videos but you never know what the outcome of them is.

My main passion is for dirt bikes bit I like anything that has been put out to pasture that still has a chance. Your content is very relatable. You two act naturally. It's hard to describe. @@thecynic807 It is a 68 T bird and does have the high compression 429. I used to have one.
@@ericbrown5354 my dad had two. One for parts. The main one was a light blue and white interior. The other was gold. It was wrecked by my uncle. So he bought the blue one and put the transmission (C6) from gold in the blue. It was so fast. And the gold had a 390.
So my uncle wrecking the gold one a blessing. 429 and the C6. Damn thing could do 180 mph. And from a dead stop not hit second till 65mph and still bark the tires.
I must say I’m a Holden / GM guy but that y block sounds very cool. I haven’t heard one of them before and it has an awesome note, even with (or maybe because of) a probably clapped out exhaust! Nice trenches Mook.
Just leave Kevin at home alone with whatever amount of Busch Lite is enough for 12 hours in Iowa. So like 200 cans. He will be OK.

I'd love to see you guys go back there and revive that F150 with the 460 and a plow. I'd want that one! Depending on if it isn't rusted out underneath and the transmission shot from plowing.
That's got my vote too. Minus the plow, small lift, real bush/sand/mud tires and I would be a happy camper. Not crazy on the lift, I want it to tow a monster camper.
As an Iowan I would bet it's extremely rusty and that tranny is shot. Especially if it's a plow truck.

Absolutely love those old 50's 60's Ford trucks. They just never seem to die, they will run with hardly any maintenance. Those Y blocks were a real jewel, they have a sound like no other and ya just have to love them. Great video Mook, I really hope you can get it.
I had a '54 Ford Crestline and a 292 out of a truck (Forged crankshaft)that got put in.T-85 tranny and 4.26 rear end. I got 16 tickets in that car. Street raced the heck out of it.
