- This abandoned hotel was known to be a 5-star hotel of a big franchise. It was built in the 1990s and closed down in 2020 due to covid 19 hurting the hotel industry. For the hotels very last days the company literally told everyone to leave without any notice.

Anyone else see the shadow figures at 37:15 🤔
Can’t wait. I’ve watched your videos for a while now and am a new patreon. Keep up the awesome work 😊
@@gemmih8315 thank you so much!
@@SteveRonin you’re so welcome. I’m currently watching the hospital one. Super creepy! I love Urbex and used to do it myself till my health deteriorated.
Thx for ur effort steve.
Hi
I will never understand why people feel the need to destroy abandoned places. Thank you Steve for the respect you show in all your abandoned vids 💖
That's the reality of the shitty world we live in. People have no respect
@@robertmoorefield670 yeah its so sad one of the reasons i lost faith in humanity
I always live by leave a place better than you found it
I agree. I see some abandoned place videos in other countries and a lot of them only normal decay and minimal damage to vandalism. But in America, they all seem destroyed just because it was there.
Gotta make room for them Starbucks, apparently their overpriced Coffee is worth it...
Not really.
Nurse here. Blood oxides and turns brown to blackish depending on aterial or veinous blood. But the iron in the blood rusts so to speak is the best way to put it. Plus u would smell decomposition way before you see it. And the flies would still be on the body and the walls, not u. If u remember that then u will always be good. U smell it before u see it.
If that red stuff on the walls was fresh blood it wouldn’t be dry at that colour and would still be running down parts of the wall. Then get the hell out as no one runs around when squirting blood and would likely only have seconds to do so as u loose blood pressure and then pass out.
I hate how people do this to try and freak people out. And how wrong tv gets the colour and consistency.
Once u smell human decomposition u never forget it as it 100% worse than any animal. I pray u never have to come across it.
Also please always wear a mask around any mould as certain moulds will kill you and every step u took in that place u were inhaling it. Just continue to always monitor ur health as some can take years to have an affect on u. So know ur base health. Like pulse, respiration per minute, blood pressure, weight and your mental health. Also know ur blood type and both ur number 1&2’s can let u know what’s happening with ur insides. Unless u had an energy drink or asparagus ur pee should not be glowing or smelly ect.
@@fairemoonbear8603 me either hmm
Glowing?? What do you mean 1&2 cholesterol??
@@kar460 urine...2..bowel movement..okuuuur
I don't know why In the world they wasn't wearing mask 😷 around the mold and the hotel was known to have Coronavirus, I would be wearing mask and gloves, two mask and two pairs of gloves for each person he was exploring with, it cringes me seeing them and him touching things with out mask and gloves
Bruh if i were the video creator I would get scared rn
All that space. All those beds. And homelessness is at an all time high. There has got to be a way, there have got to be people smart enough to figure it out.
Not in our government....nope they definitely are not.
yes but if it's a moldy hotel that had a lot of coronavirus spread around it's not a good idea to have anyone take over the place. the homeless deserves better.
I dont think it's about someone being smart enough to figure it out but more so about greed. These places are left to rot because people feel that no one is going to enjoy it if any dent is owed.theyd rather watch it crumble before they give to charity or take less than whatd owed to them.
I would recommend you to use some protection for your lungs when getting in contact with mold in buildings, this can make very serious damage to your health! Be aware that mold can not always been seen, it might be behind walls and under floors.. especially in humid places.
What concerns me the fact the files just lay there not even locked away that is private and confidential I know it’s empty but as you have proved anyone can just walk in they obviously didn’t care I feel sorry for the staff that lost there jobs I hope they have found something now
It looks like it was abandoned a lot longer than 2020.
They were already going under, yep.
it looks like it was abandoned in 2014 or 2013
that is what I am thinking
CLOSED IN JANURARY 2020 AND FULLY CLOES IN MAY
I agree.
It makes me feel sad thinking about all the lives that have been affected by COVID.
The owners of this hotel must be devastated.
We need to be kind to each other even more now than ever before.
Such a beautiful hotel.
There are many more lives affected by the response to covid than the virus.
@@AllShaaaallPerish ,
100% agree
Have you seen the state of Victoria in Australia 🇦🇺 yep we are here still struggling!
No ones kind. No one cares.
@@edwardstarling1835 , it can feel like that sometimes but the truth is this, I know for a fact there are two people that care. That’s you and me, we wouldn’t write comments like this if we didn’t care. Besides, no one’s going to stop me being happy .
Edward I care. !!!!
You have a natural ASMR calm voice. It’s relaxing to watch abandoned places without jumping off my chair from the intensity
They should use this for the homeless
Was a hotel worker here, out of job thanks to covid-19. Thank you for the exploration, I kinda miss my office and this reminds me my work place. Except the blood splatters 😁

@@mistystandingwater3026 indeed it's hard for everybody. This pandemic makes me rethink whether I want to go back to work in service industry or not tho. Thank you and take care everyone!
It’s crazy this is just one example…I can’t even imagine all the abandoned places due to Covid. So sad yet the explorations are fascinating
Locally we have tons of restaurants, medical clinics and nursing homes that were shut down and left abandoned.
Your videos help me forget my depression for a while. Thank you! 🧡
🥺💕
Printer ink on the walls, real blood turns brown.
Yep, doesnt take long
Exactly. Dried blood would also be much thicker.
Yeah it turns much more of a rust color.. But that would freak me out to regardless lol
I've worked at a few hotels, usually mold is an issue with no/poor ventilation & airflow and not just water leaks... This seems so apocalyptic, I feel very fortunate to live in a very small town, high in the mountains!!! Thanks for sharing!!! Very interesting!
We had quite a few major hotels close in 2020 here in Austin, TX. Wish I had photographed the empty parking lots because these hotels were always busy. One was a very nice Marriott. 6-9 months later they reopened and are thriving.
I followed you back when I was a freshman in HS and to watch your videos now brings back memories 😭. Keep posting bro
I do much appreciate your photography you’re ability to allow me to see beauty in abandoned place you are great many thanksgiving
I've been waiting for days, I'm so happy finally there's a new video again, and so happy to see you agan steve 😊
Great video! The news people look familiar so it’s great to see the local exploring. I love seeing the cool abandoned places and how they were just left with everything.
I love the way you take your time and explore and not rush. You give us a chance to feel as we are right there with you!! Thanks!! Great video!!
It's crazy what that hotel looks like and it hasn't even been abandoned that long
Hey Steve. Awesome explore. Really sad watching this nice hotel just rotting away. Lots of nasty mold. Have the same problem in Canada. Thanks for sharing and stay safe.
I was so excited to find you on RUclips out of all the people out there exploring places your my favorite!!!!! You are very respectful to all the places you explore. Thank you for allowing the world to watch!!!!
Ever since I was a kid I always wanted to go through abandoned places and oh my goodness I want to go with you guys so bad.
Me too I love to watch abandoned places. It is sad. Yeah, he has a lovely voice
Me too as I lived in Vancouver and bussed DT & saw all these house in Shaughnessy. Just retired to the Island & get my wishes met. ❤ These guys are experienced & great adventures.
What a sad ending to such a beautiful hotel!! Great explore like always
I feel like the sprinkler system in this hotel was likely set off not long after the hotel closed down. That's what I think caused all the mold and water in the pool.
I dont know why people love to broke things when its abandon .I love the interior designed it looks amazing.
Absolutely brilliant hotel love how its designed to look like its outside but built inside the complex so unique and different from any other type of hotels definitely a great find wow such a shame it was abandoned great video
Great video Steve. Love your music and photography as well. Made me feel sad how much life has changed and miss hotels. Thanks for the memories of not so long past days. ❤️
I miss hotels too. I was supposed to come back to the States last year maybe one day!
That is a great find. Thanks for sharing 👍.
Remember on, can't wait
The sign (big white x with red background) at 1:00 means the building is condemned, or dangerous to enter. Not necessarily its being demolished. I’m from Upstate NY and a ton of low income housing and super old houses have these, but they’ve been standing for years and they never get demolished.
I researched that it ment for firefighters and responders it’s unsafe to go in
Looking forward to seeing this amazing video. 🙂👍
This place is huge. So much coolness to check out.
Can't wait for this!
Steve please always take your masks I love your photography ❤💕 Everything looks so pretty and shows how it should be Thank you 😊
Awesome exploration! I loved all of those abstract art hanging in the restaurant 😍 alot of nice art still in that hotel. Crazy how much stuff was left behind like people just got up and ran away leaving everything behind. 😮👍💯
This must be a best western I’ve stayed in one exactly same layout!!
This is sickening on so many levels. To completely shut down a major business out of the blue due to a pandemic, and completely ruin that business forever is unbelievable to me. Yet I know it's not the only time or place this happened, still I can't wrap my mind around it. This was a fantastic building and looks like a really nice hotel when it was in operation. And to just leave everything behind inside it?! And yes, I agree, leaving the American flag behind like that is a total sign of disrespect. Unfortunately that seems to be what we've come to more and more. SMH This was a great explore, Steve. Thanks for taking the time to document these places for all of us!
Steve great video! I can't believe how big that hotel is! So sad that it closed down.
I just hope the owners can atleast sell some of the furniture that is still in good condition. I am so glad that there are still people like Steve and his guys that respect the places they visit. Some people will either steel or destroy. Thanks for all the awsome videos
It a lot of mold there.. they probably won't be able to
Great video. Love those music parts with camera roll. professionally made ! enjoyed like always
The point of a Murphy bed is it it sleeps two more people. That way you can have overnight guests!
I imagine the spatter was left by teens trying to scare people. I bet the flys are there for the trash left and or any food or drinks still there siting out. Always interested to see these places and so much nice furniture, and electronics left behind when it could have been all be sold and used again. I guess the previous owners weren't allowed to take much and banks or credit union ( whomever took over) never got to it.
Wow that kitchen reminds me of the kitchen scene in one of the Jurassic Park movies.
Love your videos BTW.
Yeah you'd know if something happened or there was a body. The smell alone
Hi Steve so glad you are making videos like this again have miss you
Same here, hi sherry how are you doing with your family I hope you’re safe from the virus?
Couldn’t they wait until the next morning lol geez! To wake people up and tell them to leave 🤦🏻♀️
Great video Steve. Such a shame this place is just sitting there. Maybe somebody will fix it up and reopen it.
No the hotel won’t open back up it is lined up for demolition
Essence of THE SHINNING.
Steve, you and your crew are top notch.
The Shinning.... Is that about an epic 1.5 hr kick in the shins, or....? Sounds scary. Heard The Shining (similar name) is scary, too.

It does not take long for mould to appear as soon as the venting or heating system is shut down. It was quite a nice hotel thanks for sharing.
Steve, your voice is very soothing, you could do audio books.
It looks like a giant movie set, how the whole place is set inside what looks like a shed. It’s crazy. Great video
The musical scoring is excellent! Even the intro theme music is so good

It looks so surreal, especially because it was abandoned just about 2 years ago. Idk it's different than visiting a place that's been abandoned for 50/100 years

I can not believe there is not homeless people living in this place
Your videos always help me relax.
I'm so glad!
Looks like it was a nice hotel as always thanks for the video and you all be safe
Outstanding video blessing 😱🙏😇🙏😱
Wow. Hope that piano will be rescued. ❤🎶🎹
I get the vibes that it was closed down due to something other than covid and that was just used as an excuse like many other things the wicked are covering up.
I agree I think covid was just another ploy to hit business and to there agenda def was a bio weapon
Why do they not turn this into a homeless shelter ..it would make a great one
Love this video buddy ❤
Imagine staying there overnight. I think it'd be super cool to stay in an abandoned hotel.
Imagine if they left this place stand and gave it to the homeless to run.
uninhabitable with the mold
Not only would be it deemed "uninhabitable" by the city due to mold issues, but if left for ONLY the homeless to run under their own watch over themselves, the place would be in even WORSE condition than shown here, I can guarantee that.
It was great seening this video
Wow, that is a deep in-ground spa.
Thank you for showing theis it's so sad what the virus did
I just retired to Vancouver Island, use to bus West 41st & Shaugnessy Heights. I use to daydream all the way about seeing inside, thanks for these videos Steve & guys. ❤ 🇨🇦.
Totally creepy, I would be freaked out and get out. 🙀😻
Great video Steve.
My mom sent me this video because she recognized this hotel as the one our family used to go to swim at when I was younger! Now we’re gonna take a drive to go see it 👀
Update!!! We drove out to the hotel and it’s so creepy to see it all abandoned and empty. We had so many happy memories here. The white van is still in the parking lot too! We’re too chicken to actually go inside, but we drove around and reminisced about all the memories we had here!
Another awesome adventure! Just so sad how covid hit alot of industry's! It was once was a beautiful hotel and instead of trying to save the structure they are tearing it down!
Could be unsalvageable due to the water leaks and mold.
@@lexycat1318 That's what I was thinking too. Alot of mold, especially in the the restaurant.
Alexa is right. If mold it pervasive the only thing to do is demolish the building
.
Thank you for the Great video

Hello to france!! Good vidéo
Great show I would have never imagined all those things left back in that hotel I was looking at the machine that was broke with the water bottle still left in vending machine
Great explore. I would love to have that Yamaha piano. I have a Wurlitzer, but Yamaha and Steinways are the best.
I was thinking the same, it looks nice!
Great video steve
Steve, really enjoyed your abandoned hotel video! Loved the pool but, that green water was disgusting!

That building not being air conditioned is definitely allowing the mold to grow much faster than when they were open.
Wish they had worn mask..too much mold..
and no sunlight
Really nice room
This actually looks like an old Holiday Inn from the late 1970's early 1980's
This is a shame so many businesses closed. So Unecessary
