  • This abandoned hotel was known to be a 5-star hotel of a big franchise. It was built in the 1990s and closed down in 2020 due to covid 19 hurting the hotel industry. For the hotels very last days the company literally told everyone to leave without any notice.

Nurse here. Blood oxides and turns brown to blackish depending on aterial or veinous blood. But the iron in the blood rusts so to speak is the best way to put it. Plus u would smell decomposition way before you see it. And the flies would still be on the body and the walls, not u. If u remember that then u will always be good. U smell it before u see it.
If that red stuff on the walls was fresh blood it wouldn’t be dry at that colour and would still be running down parts of the wall. Then get the hell out as no one runs around when squirting blood and would likely only have seconds to do so as u loose blood pressure and then pass out.
I hate how people do this to try and freak people out. And how wrong tv gets the colour and consistency.
Once u smell human decomposition u never forget it as it 100% worse than any animal. I pray u never have to come across it.
Also please always wear a mask around any mould as certain moulds will kill you and every step u took in that place u were inhaling it. Just continue to always monitor ur health as some can take years to have an affect on u. So know ur base health. Like pulse, respiration per minute, blood pressure, weight and your mental health. Also know ur blood type and both ur number 1&2’s can let u know what’s happening with ur insides. Unless u had an energy drink or asparagus ur pee should not be glowing or smelly ect.

This is sickening on so many levels. To completely shut down a major business out of the blue due to a pandemic, and completely ruin that business forever is unbelievable to me. Yet I know it's not the only time or place this happened, still I can't wrap my mind around it. This was a fantastic building and looks like a really nice hotel when it was in operation. And to just leave everything behind inside it?! And yes, I agree, leaving the American flag behind like that is a total sign of disrespect. Imagine staying there overnight. I think it'd be super cool to stay in an abandoned hotel.
Imagine if they left this place stand and gave it to the homeless to run.

      uninhabitable with the mold

    • @urbexwithkat9422

Not only would be it deemed "uninhabitable" by the city due to mold issues, but if left for ONLY the homeless to run under their own watch over themselves, the place would be in even WORSE condition than shown here, I can guarantee that.

Update!!! We drove out to the hotel and it’s so creepy to see it all abandoned and empty. We had so many happy memories here. The white van is still in the parking lot too! We’re too chicken to actually go inside, but we drove around and reminisced about all the memories we had here!

I actually really enjoy being able to BREATH and don't want to ever not be able to or to possibly have to have a ventilator shoved down my throat in order to be able to.
