    My native language is Arabic. So every time I try to study a grammar lesson, I think I get it and everything until I find myself returning to the zero point. like I've never studied it. and that was a big problem for me because I had to master it. that's why I am here on youtube trying to find if there is any easy structure that I can use. and thank you, teacher, for all your hard work.

    The grammar is quite wider subject than using tenses in a right situation. There are so many exclusions in a language that are simply not explained by anyone, you have just remember them, keep them in mind. That's most difficult. 'Cause you should remember them always and in a right moment don't miss'em in your speech

    Hello! Ronnie, you are amazing! I hope you can help me with my question. What is the difference between "I got used to doing homework" and "I am used to doing homework"? May be for English people the difference is obvious, but it's very confusing for Russian speaking people. The meaning of these two sentences is almost the same. Thank you very much!

    Hi Ronnie, this is very interesting but from my own experience I think it's better for new learners to stay away from grammar and just watch movies, songs, because it's more effective to learn throw live situations than throw this studying it like mathematics.

    • @traduzvi
      @traduzvi 9 лет назад +2

      I never learn that advanced english grammar and stuff like that. And I understand eveything that I hear in english, and I talk to myself really fast and correctly. I learn english very well just watching to videos and listening to songs. Grammar is very important when you have to write something or even talk to someone. But for me hear and speak are extremely important!!

    • @laszlokatai-pal5685

      I absolutely disagree if you can learn as a kid. As an adult, you have to get results more quickly, so it is understandable that you learn few conversation tricks.
      But if you that lucky to have had the opportunity to learn a language as a kid, you can build knowledge and your skills will be grow and end up on a very different level.
      English grammar makes sense and has an easy logic. Far less exceptions than in Hungarian for example...

    I've just started teaching myself Indonesian for my trip to Bali in a few months (even though most of the people their will probably speak very good English) and so far the grammar is a doddle - in fact I haven't come across any so far but in the book it says as you become more advanced, much further along the line their grammar becomes very complicated but I doubt if I'll get (or need to get) that far along

    Hello, Ronnie! Can you explain why Present&Past Perfect and Past&Present Perfect Progressive uses in ordinary life and how often it happen? I really have no idea why I should say "I have been thinking about it" but not "I thought about it". Because this is the same things in my language. Please save my mind! Thank you!

      @Faidamine 9 лет назад +7

      you can't just learn the difference between tenses just like that, try to watch videos , there are a lot of videos on Ronnie's channel. whoever the difference between I've been thinking about it and i thought about it is quite simple
      the first tense is"present perfect cont" This tense is actually used to describe actions in the past that have a connection to the present : the action of thinking is still happening, however the second tense which is the past describe an action that is stopped in the past : you thought about it in the past but now you aren't
      i wish i helped you, i'm also learning :)
