    i love how everyone who dosent do taekwondo is an expert on tkd combos and training . people can be very rude and ignorant about tkd i have been doing tkd for 20 years i respect all styles and we can all learn and benefit from each other but to say bad things about an art makes you look foolish

      hell yea... it's funny, isnt it. totally agree. IMHO (20+ years on tkd) tkd = strategy = points = olympic games = gold medal... that's it. if you need do kill someone (hahahahah) get a gun. better than kicks, punchs whatever

      I have been practicing WTF stlyle TaeKownDo for over 25 years. I used to compete for sparring and i still compete in over 40 division. When someone tells me TKD is useless in UFC...I always say "I pracitce TKD because I am attracted to the unique style of WTF TKD, thats all. If I want to or have to beat up someone, I want to beat up with TKD style because I am so attracted to the style... nothing else. I will try my best to prove TKD is superior to other form if I end up fighting but no one has to justify anything for what you like.

      Hey, thats way better than starting back up at age 32. However, don't give it up, the philosophy of TKD is design to outlast your body.

    I love grace and skill of tkd it’s like watching sport fencing...notice how they 99% of time move only backwards to escape the opponent thereby moving directly into the range of their opponent kick...only once did they move in circular movement...glad to see they added punches combo as well proving tkd works in multiple ranges

    got a new training partner he did TKD for 5 yrs - when we spar he rly has to concentrate on not dropping the hands and he surely has not the best punches, but man you're right, of course those guys mix it up and the fast kicks of a TKDoin are not to be underestimated. Everyone seems to think just because someone is doing a certain combat sport he's not be able to fight dirty or work in different things in a freefight.

    that was one of the best tkd basic sparring vids I've ever seen. only thing I'd add is sometimes your second roundhouse of some counters should either be double motion or a high roundhouse to head for knockout. it works, I've done it. still, great vid make some more.

    Something I have noticed over the years one thing all of these blogs have in common; critics looking to validate themselves by questioning the integrity of certain styles of martial arts. Everyone myself included is on a Journey Martial Arts is much more than kicking and punching and rank it's your own personal Journey. Therefore, in my humble opinion stay on your course and remember, you will be successful if you stay on your journey and ignore the self proclaiming Bruce Lee wannabe.. "stay in the fight"!!!

    If You are a TKD Black Belt Holder, and You are able to do 360 turning kick, jumping side kick, jumping back hoop onto head, then move on to Chinese Wu-Shu Kicks. TKD is a good start to learn kicks and jumping , 360 etc, but the real deal is to move on to master Chinese Wu-Shu Kicks and then apply the Wu-Shu Kicks in tournaments. One very big problems with TKD fighters are,, they keep falling onto the ground, without learning break fall or rotating up like Chinese Kung Fu. All these are good during tournament fight and personal physical training and flexi training, in real fight, use Wing Chun. If not the hightest level form is Tai-Chi. Winning the fight and let the opponent surrender to You , without You hurting him /her.

    The red-spot black-belt is so light on his feet; at times it almost appears as though he's floating. Speed - that's the key.

    good video, im interested in attack an opponent who's faking. I always thought when you fake, your trying to make your opponent react so if they do you get an opening not trying to pick a fault, i just want to hear a different theory to my own

    • @supersecretbronyclub
      @supersecretbronyclub 10 лет назад

      Basic rule of feinting.
      Feint once or twice to see how they react and reset your play.
      Knowing that reaction, get a game plan for that reaction to play off of.
      Feint to start up and follow through with your plan.
      Fighting's real simple, people tend to repeat themselves a-lot in it. Don't worry too much about what might change on that third feint.

  • @neomanrex
    @neomanrex 11 лет назад +1

    This is stictly for show/ tourny fighting. Our classes always had segments dedicated to street self defense/ fighting. Which had a lot more elbows headbutes wrist locks finger breaks and was fairly brutal. Btw do you actually think street fights go when two people line up and put their hands up? No fight goes like that. Street fights last about 10 seconds and usually end in one or two hits and almost always end up with two guys wrestling on the ground trying to hit each other and failing.
