I'm a father of an 8-year old boy. I watch your videos so can I teach my son the techniques.
He gained a lot of confidence since we practiced the techniques you've taught in your other videos. He can now do tornado kicks which he is very proud. He did it once and landed it perfectly on his opponent's body.
If I may, may I request that you make a video on blocking? He usually gets kicked on the head or face, and body after he attacks.

Keep you arms up and try and dodge attacks. Put one arm by ur chest and one arm further away from ur body to block. Also stay in a side position as a stance so it’s harder for them to kick u

pay attention to your partner when doing pad work. You get the chance to see lots of kicks and you'll learn to recognise the movements.

Y’all in the world taekwondo federation style for point sparring they don’t allow intentional kicks to the back, so what I’m saying is that scissor kick or double jump kick he does the 2nd part of that kick, kicks that back which isn’t allowed if it’s intentional like that seems to be

The spine is illegal zone, you can kick next to it (on the back muscles).

You are great... learning a lot from this channel. wondering if you could do an episode on techniques for someone short to score. I'm 52, so shorter than average and most of the headshots like crescent and axe kick assume you are tall enough .

As a rkd black belt, i gotta say.... the sport really needs to modernize our sport and learn how to throw proper punches. Luckily I cross trained in Muay Thai... but by and large, the lack of knowledge on the punches is why not many TKD practitioners ever go to MMA

You will have to make sure you kick the back edge not the mid back and it counts

@@gokberkteberI suppose he has a point if it hits the edge of the Side rather than the mid back it should be fine, however if u mistakenly hit the mid back that’s a foul and too many of those could lead to point deduction so just keep that in mind
