There was a decent crowd, just far stand isn't finished so 90% were camera side
The community will support their local provincial clubs. Super Rugby has taken it all away from the locals. Examples: Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Bay of Plenty, North Harbour and Tasman unable to win against Canterbury, Otago, Wellington, Waikato and Auckland
Check those stats again, past 5 years or so Taranaki has beaten those giants many times lol

How is that a yellow for the 9 when there was no offside line created? When the full back got tackled there was no ruck so surely the 9 wasn’t offside?

World Rugby law say this..
"In a tackle or ruck situation, offside lines are created at a tackle when at least one player is on their feet and over the ball, which is on the ground. Each team’s offside line runs parallel to the goal line through the hindmost point of any player in the tackle or on their feet over the ball"
@@daveburnham9111 "'one player is on their feet and over the ball" means a ruck, which there was none, meaning no offside
@@marlinwilliams73 "'one player is on their feet and over the ball" is not a ruck, that's why first arriving player can use his hands, in rucks you can't use hands. One from each team on their feet, over the ball is a ruck. After the italy case the offside line is established with no ruck necessary.
I agree though in this case there was no player on their feet over the ball from any player, so no offside.
Yep it was General Play and the Ref and Commentators couldn't understand the rules🤯🤡🤡🤡

Bloke went down and popped the ball after being tackled, no ruck. So no offside line?!
Its referees working the match in favor of the bigger team , rugby is rigged to a certain extent referee will decide who wins in close games
Taranaki have some incredible athletes in their backs. Naholo was devastating, Jacomb giving off young Beauden vibes and JRK is a very promising prospect too. Will be hard to beat this year
The Taranaki Youngsters are starting to shine and the Forwards are unbelievable with support and passing. THC all day

Sotutu was considered the all black no8 but he doesn't really show out in this npc game.. There is not really much difference between super rugby quality and npc rugby quality. We need to get rid of super rugby and concentrate on the npc.

The Ref and the Commentators not understanding that a Tackle is NOT a ruck and the Yellow Card was Bullshit because it was in General Play..
They had 3 replays and still didn't understand how the rules work..
