Tomato plants love warmth, so choose a spot with at least six to eight hours of sun each day. The soil should be slightly acidic, loose, and well-drained. Loam and sandy loam soils are best for tomato production, but these plants will grow in almost all soil types except heavy clay.

How do I know what fertilizer you use and how do you mix your potting soil?

If you want a good soil check into clackamas coot soil blend. It's for cannabis plants but with some modifications it will do very well for tomatoes. No need for extra fertilizers. Just water. The soil should be 1/3 spangnum moss, 1/3 compost (20-50% being EWC), 1/3 pumice stone. For every 6 gallons of soil then add 1 or 2 cups of afalfa meal, 1 cup of crabshell (crustacean) meal or equal calcium source, 1 cup of malted barley, 1 to 2 cups of basalt, 1 cup kelp meal, 1/2 cup of gypsum and 10% of the soil with biochar. When mixing the soil, give it a soil water drench with the required amounts of fulvic and humic acids in the water. That's a perfect batch for transplanting. Add some mycorrhiza in the transplant whole especially where the roots will touch it. Occasionally, as in rarely, add in nettle liquid and humic acids.
Alfalfa is for nitrogen, malted barley is a huge mix of micronutrients and chitin, kelp for the phosphorous/potassium, basalt is for all the small things things that usually aren't listed in fertilizers mixes, biochar is for amazing water retention, pumice stones act as aeration and other nutrients.

I like to hear what is being added to the pot, along with seeing which is good but it doesn’t help when it doesn’t say what you are using 😢

No as a gardener/coder what's being done here is clever. ITS NOT AT ALL WHAT THE VIDEO SHOWS. Every cut is for a very precise reason. I wondered the same, why is he mixing rice hulls in? It's not even the same soil. A tomato plant that age would be much larger. There's no leaves all tomatoes. This video is as fake as the nails I'll get my girl on our wedding day

Buen video, pero faltan detalles como el tipo de abono o fertilizante usado, cada cuanto se aplica el abono. Detalles o al menos un texto que indique las cantidades. Es necesario que le de sol? o sombra?
