- Nippon Flex 200 is an elastomeric breathable acrylic polymer waterproofing membrane. It is cured to form a seamless, UV-durable, protective waterproof and decorative membrane. It is a waterproofing and weatherproofing for old and new construction. It is suitable for above ground, interior and exterior waterproofing application.

Application
With brush or roller method apply the first coat of Flex 200 on the application surface. Leave to cure for approximately 1 hour before applying the second coat.

Flex 200 is recommended for exposed area. Common practice is to have a cement render layer on top of the waterproofing membrane before installing tiles.

yes you may. However, i suggest you try to identify the point of leakages if there is.

No, it's more towards exposed waterproofing.
Which one is better Pentens T200 or Nippon Flex 200?
Both are similar.
There are some hairline cracks on my concrete slab roof. So far there is no water leak. But there are fungus here and there, especially at cracks. Can I use Nippon Flex 200 to paint over the slab to prevent fungus?
You first to jet wash or remove the fungus first. Then, you can apply primer sealer as base coating.

Currently, I have not seen Nippon Paint selling it. You may source from other manufacturer.
Alternatively, you may check out other brand's waterproofing product that comes with fibre reinforment.

You can use this, however my advice will be fix it from the outside or the source of leakages.

laying additional fiberglass mesh, will definitely increase the tensile strength and of course improve the coverage. Some other brands do comes with fibreglass mixed altogether.

don't have to. This waterproofing system is for exposed area.
Can I use penten t200 as 1 layer n Nippon 200 as a second layer, to get the advantage of both?
It's better to use one type to to optimize its functionalities and properties. However, both are similar product.

Yes you can! But, the texture wouldn't be smooth as interior paint.

Sekiranya untuk lantai luar seperti slab atau balcony, 3-5 tahun sebelum recoating. Untuk lantai simen yang kerap dipakai (jalan2), kurang sesuai.

hi ATKC.. Apa kah cat yg sesuai untuk mengelakkan ceiling tandas (plaster ceiling board) dari terus berkulat. Ini setelah saya menambah ventilation fan & saya ingin membaik pulih ceiling tandas yg sudah naik kulat.
Pakai sealer dulu, and finishing with cat yang anti kulat. Tapi boleh jugak pakai terus nippon flex 200.

It is more suitable for exposed area. For tiled balcony, water proofing must be done at the concrete level.

@@ATKCeWarehouse hi, for tiled balcony, and the waterproofing already leaking (the very common problem for terrace house nowadays), will applying the sika 703 directly to the tiled surface on balcony help to solve the water leaking from balcony down to carpoarch? if yes, is the sika 703 uv resistant?
@@chiahong4553 My suggestion: Please check if all the cement grouting lines are in good conditions, if not, please fix it first before applying sikagard 703.

Yes, possible. I have tried apply directly, but applying primer will be better.

@@umimirah4308 Actually, any good quality gloss paint (cat minyak) will do the trick. Make sure all surface are painted, and recoat it between 1 - 2 years.

Can this product be used on concrete / clay tile roofing?
You can apply it on concrete roof tiles, after cleaning the surface or prime it. For clay tiles, it's a bit tricky because of the glazed surface.

Boleh, memang boleh! Tapi, dinasihatkan membaiki masalah waterproofing in bahagian slab tangki yang merupakan punca utama kebocoran atau water leaking.
