Sir napaka-detalyado po ng vlog nyo. It seems very knowledgeable kayo pagdating sa construction issues. Sir pahingi lang po sana ng advice. May moist po kasi at kunting hairline cracks na may tumutulo ng tubig ang 1st and 2nd flr namin. Both above ground structures kasi wala naman kaming basement. Tinanggal na po namin ang paint.using grinder, then liha, at pinunasan namin ng basang basahan para malinisan. Pero ano po ang best na gamitin namin between crystor o flexor?

If you can apply on the exterior, we recommend applying Sapal RTU primer, sealer and waterproofing paint in one. You just have to repair the cracks first prior to the application of Flexor.

Using neutralizer can weaken the concrete. Concrete neutralizer is made of acid that can be absorbed by concrete and can cause corrosion on the reinforcement which could lead to cracking, spalling and degradation of concrete.

For the powdering skim coat surface, apply Tofil 806 (Binder for Loose Paint and Powdery Plaster) on the powdering skim coat or remove the powdering skim coat surface using a grinder. For leaks on corner joints, grind 10mm on affected corners and apply Stopgap AS (Acrylic Sealant).

For exterior wall waterproofing, let the concrete cure for at least 28 days before the application of Sapal RTU if you do not want to use skim coat. Repair hairline cracks and clean the surface. Hi. Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, you have to remove the existing paint prior to the application of skim coat. Skim coat must be applied on bare concrete substrate. It will loose its adhesion strength and will cause powdering if applied to primed or coated wall.

However, if there is no access on the exterio wall, you can use Flexor for above ground or higher level wall. You just have to repair the cracks first prior to the application of Flexor.

Using neutralizer can weaken the concrete. Concrete neutralizer is made of acid that can be absorbed by concrete and can cause corrosion on the reinforcement which could lead to cracking, spalling and degradation of concrete.

For the powdering skim coat surface, apply Tofil 806 (Binder for Loose Paint and Powdery Plaster) on the powdering skim coat or remove the powdering skim coat surface using a grinder.
For leaks on corner joints, grind 10mm on affected corners and apply Stopgap AS (Acrylic Sealant).

For exterior wall waterproofing, let the concrete cure for at least 28 days before the application of Sapal RTU if you do not want to use skim coat. Repair hairline cracks and clean the surface.
