Maybe he was a french diplomat... The french can not drive either (or park, they also park wherever they want with a an attitude). Sat outside an Café in Nice one day and there was a police just standing right beside a crosswalk (with had clear "no parking, stopping and so on" on the road). And I sat their for about 30 mins and there where lots of french people that just parked and clicked their alarm and left (with a police officer taking them ofc). And some of them where pretty embarrassed and some had to argue. But the crosswalk was sooo obvious (with a small bump on it also). And you will se a lot of (nearly all of them) dented cars in france's citys...

As a diplomat, he's still under the jurisdiction of Switzerland. So you can report this to the police there. I don't know if they would do anything but it's a possibility.

As a current young citizen - and active cyclist - living in Geneva (Switzerland), the international capital of diplomats, I couldn't thank you enough for the vigor you've shown there. From the "blabla-craptalk" to the huge 4x4 and the lady of pleasure, this guy reminded me WAY to much my city here and it's a great relieve to witness this consumer of the system's privileges being put back to his place, subject to the law as any other human being.

Being a diplomat does not mean you get to do whatever you want, and park how ever you like! Nor does it garner you respect if you have to say it to these guys, whom are simply trying to get people to live within the parameters of society( a car goes here without obstructing the path of a bicycle.)
Being Swiss, please accept the apologizes of the Swiss people (if I may). The attitude of this diplomat is not compatible with his function, representing badly our country and citizen.

This video is kind of old but if it wasn't I would send an e mail to the minister in charge of our diplomats. It gives us french people a terrible reputation if our diplomats behave this way with the ordinary citizens of their host countries. I hope they don't all do this.

As a diplomat , it is important to set a good example for the people.
I should think that un-diplomatic diplomats who abuse their status within a host nation and garner unfavorable opinions against their country would soon be fired from service if enough complaints are filed with the embassy. That man's arrogance begged for a sticker ... on his smug face.
