One of the competitors they showed is Hua Chengyu. Dimash competed in 2017. Hua in 2018 and then won in 2020. It’s hard to describe Hua but recommend The Singer 2018 with English subtitles… Nunchucks, I Don’t Care, Child, Fake Monk. Other Dimash commenters are how I found out about Hua Chengyu. He composes many of his songs. But no one compares to our Dimash. Appreciate you!!! ❤❤❤

I highly recommend his rendition of "Ikanaide" at the 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival. It's probably my favorite song that I've heard from him.
