Please. Dimash doesn't need auto tune. He has absolute pitch. This was part of his first solo concert in 2017 when he was just 23 years old. He threw this piee in after he had sung for more than 2 hours already. I caught an older video clip where Dimash actually sung the aria and then the Diva Dance just like in the movie. Speaking of Queen of the Night. Dimash sings that for fun when he was bored. You need to check out LiLaSi's ultimate Dimash guide (12 parts). At the end of part 9, I think, that's when he was singing it in the stairwell, for fun. Like I said, PLEASE. Have some respect for Dimash. Just admit that he IS THE BEST. There is simply no one out there that is like him.

And what you clearly are unaware of, is that nearly everything these days is pitch corrected, usually without the artist knowing it.
I am not saying that this performance is post-production edited, but it does happen, over 90% of the time to make them 440hz true temperament.
Until one has seen the waveforms in the correct software for it, one cannot ever make the claim you just made.
      ruclips.net/video/-5PLkkNC0UA/видео.htmlsi=fZ60XfYoE1j5paAy
      It's autotuned.

@theorc9098 actually it's not. There are plenty of examples where pitch correction would be impossible. Why are you so adamant that he's not as good as he sounds?

    • @theorc9098
      @theorc9098 Месяц назад

@@blairkimberlin3447 I literally posted the audio analysis of that performance in the comment you replied to.
      It's pitch corrected.
It's not a debate. Whether you like it or not, someone altered it to 440hz standard temperament tuning, and flattened off, sharpened and re-timed some of his notes.
Nobody is saying he wanted or asked for it.
It's just a standard thing to do these days by studios, audio AND TV.
The adjustments are by just a few cents, and milliseconds. But they were done, with or without his agreement. He is VERY accurate for a human.
He's still incredible. But he's not "zero deviance from pitch and time" incredible. Because that's not physically possible.
I'm sorry, but you not being able to read an audio analysis chart, isn't really a valid argument.
Here you go, another example of him being pitch corrected.
      ruclips.net/video/OBk7BnIA12c/видео.htmlsi=KxsbZV-TsMll4ube

Triple platinum in a hour.Ge is the legend today,he carries at least people from 70 to i9 countries fan go to most concerts. And the best is that he is the show, not invokved with musixmcal industry i have followed him, study him for over 8 yrs,so being an old soul musicisn ,singer, pkayed all accept RAP,sgould know. Some people cannot believe, but once y folkow his playlist you will understand and recognize the talent that he is and no COPY AND PASTE COVERS,HE IS TO GREAT AN ARTIST TO DO OTHERWISE!

Perfect pitch is not the same thing as good intonation, just wanna put that out there. Perfect Pitch is the ability to identify the notes you hear, not the ability to sing them accurately.
Anyways, no human voice will produce a 100% pitch accurate performance, and if they did it would sound wrong. Dimash simply has Very Good intonation, which is a skill, not an ability one does or does not have.

His accuracy of notes is one of the reasons vocal coaches call him an alien. He was born with perfect pitch and began singing opera at the age of 5. His mother is an opera singer. He doesn't really need auto tuning because of his absurd amount of practice and what seems to be an obsession with perfection. It is extremely hard to believe that any human can be this accurate, but he is. I've heard a version of sos at some restaurant, it has the same accuracy as his other versions, it's amazing and the reason he is considered by his fans as the greatest singer in the world. When he hits the D8 and then actually adds vibrato to it, that's when you begin to understand that he isn't from this world. Listen to Ave Maria where at the end he holds a sustained C6 with vibrato added at times, you just have to hear it to believe it. Of course Stranger where he sings a dead on F6. We all know that it is hard to believe that he can actually do all of this, but he can.

He is a higly trained singer who declined an invitation from his country's opera house, to join them. He wanted to b free to explore all sorts of music, composing many of his works himself. He has a masters degree in composition and many other degrees in various genres. I think by now he has completed his Doctorate too.

If you wish to hear the highest note you have ever heard coming out of a human mouth , then you should watch Dimash's unforgettable day at GAKKU concert. If you are unfamiliar with Dimash, prepare yourself to be amazed. Dimash possesses the most powerful voice on the planet. He was born May 1994 in Kazakhstan, his father being a pop singer and his mother an opera singer. At the age of five, he accompanied his mother to opera practice, whereupon a voice teacher heard his voice and took him under his wings. Dimash is extensively educated in music and is rumoured to have / getting a PhD in Music ; furthermore, he plays several instruments. He is an incredibly talented and smart young man, having performed songs in twelve different languages. Those incredible high notes are almost inconceivable for a male singer. Dimash is also a huge admirer of the late Michael Jackson, the king of pop.

Having said that, I've been to enough concerts to have heard him sing similar staccato notes while just goofing around with the audience. And it is frightening that they sound exactly the same and just as clean. I'm so terribly disappointed that the only time I would have heard him sing this live was at his concert in the Kremlin, and the mic failed.

Sometimes to preserve his voice, sometimes because the venue he's at has strict rules. Some people object to that, but Dimash is a unique case where I hardly ever mind.

In the Kremlin the playback failed! It is not that Dimash cannot hit the notes: it is that he nonetheless uses playback for this song in his performances. The high notes are so demanding that he doesn't sing this live even at a concert which requires a +3h singing effort.

Please take into account that his concert are 3 - 3.5 hours long so he can sound winded and you can see sweat dripping off his face and neck. Additionally, Dimash practices every day for 3 hours and often longer. The only times that he doesn't practice is if he as a cold.

I'm sure she's not going to watch any of the video proof you've all provided in the comments. I was actually going to mention that when he sang this on The Singer competition, obviously it was live and no pitch correct. It happens to all of the professional singers when they watch Dimash. It's unfortunate, because they can't enjoy the performance w/o hunting for reasons why he's that good.

Perhaps you should analyze this. I'm not a voice teacher, but I don't think Dimash uses autotune. I can assure you he dosnt use or need any kind of autotune lol. The reason the best queen of the nights dont match up to that bit is because Dimash is way better than the best at what he does.
He litterally IS the worlds best singer so ofcourse he is better than them. Not to say others cant perform various things they specialise in better than Dimash - like the best tenor is probably better than Dimash in that narrow range- but not by much.. But as for vocal gynastics Dimash wastes them.
p.s There are plenty of backstage, practice runs, sound checks etc videos of Dimash singing these things unmic'd.

Pretty sure there is no Autotune, because you would hear it live with this kind of vocal acrobatics. Especially back then. But it’s easy to check (for people with the right monitoring software). So maybe someone could check… Or maybe people already have, and haven’t found anything or this would be known by now.
By the way the last note is not in the original. He added that. 😊

Dimash's Mother is a well known opera singer, and his father is a music event producer. They were surprised when they took Dimash to a number of people in the music industry. As a five year old child - it was evulated that he could (in a small range of notes) present perfict pitch. When Dimash was six years old he was enrolled with a professsor at a local university that was developing raising young children in music! Dimash when 7 years old performed at a wedding on the piano, it became apparent that he indeed posessed perfect pitch. He worked voice and instrumants at this program until he entered University. He graduatedl with degrees in Clasical and Popular music. He was performing by this time, but he also received a master's in Compisition, Arrangement, and Production of music. He was awarded a doctorit but I don't know the thesis. His Education is one thing, but Dimash starting in his lste teens and early 20's has been singing in competitions and in all sotrs of musical events, from performances to full Production concerts.

Once you have listened to more by Dimash you will realise what he can do. He now includes a 'waving microphone' action to stop those who didnt believe he was singing live or accusing him of auto tune.

What nobody seems to get is that while Dimash is very good and does not "need" autotune, that does not mean this recording was all natural.
Autotune can be used live. The lighter the touch and the more naturally on-pitch the vocalist, the harder it is to tell, but live mic'd vocals can be autotuned.
Pitch-correction can also be done on a vocal before the video is uploaded.
Dimash singing very well in a hallway in no way proves that This performance was unedited. I'm not saying it was or it wasn't but I'm saying it's possible. Dimash has used autotune before.
What you have to realize is that most (non-opera) vocals these days are pitch adjusted. And in fact it's a shame that it's so common, because superb vocalists like Dimash get edited anyway and it takes away from their natural, imperfect sound.
If you know anything about singing on pitch, you know that great voices are never perfectly and consistently on pitch. That is physically impossible and undesireable. But the human ear is not a machine. A perfect performance is a technically imperfect one. Period.
There is no need to get defensive that Dimash is good because someone (an actual singer who knows what to listen for, mind you) wonders if the vocal was touched up. An edited vocal does not mean the singer is not a brilliant singer.
This Diva Dance *is* suspiciously good. Hitting those notes so cleanly is insanely difficult and the difference between a REALLY GOOD raw vocal and that same vocal skillfully pitch-corrected may be slight, and unnoticeable to you average person.

Auto-tune checks it's notes on Dimash's vocals, not the other way around. Dimash has Absolute pitch, so not only does he sing with perfect pitch, but he needs no lead-in or reference to hit any note at anytime he wants.

Hey guys, Freya is doing her best to give an unbiassed analysis of Dimash. But EVERYONE can be forgiven a touch of scepticism when first hearing some of these performances. Quite frankly I'd be more surprised by an uncritical "greatest voice ever" reaction, because no-one expects to see a once in a generation talent just pop up. And in truth, Dimash has to lip-sync on occasion because of production requirements. We just need to remember that he can produce just about any song a capella and on demand.

Quite honestly statements like that shouldn't be used unless you have a thorough knowledge of the artist and know for certain that they are not capable of what you're seeing.
