Anyone know how much data does walkie-talki use? Will it deplete my data plan?
In the notification centre there is also a walkie-talkie toggle to easily turn on and off availability (in addition to “do not disturb” and “theatre mode”).

My contact list is many and they are not arranged in alphabetical order. There certainly has to be a better way to find who I like to use this feature with such as just my contacts on my phone, instead of on the watch

You can also turn the walkie-talkie off, making herself in a bit unavailable. So, you always receive messages? There isn’t an inbox we can store at least a few to be later?
Note that while using voiceover and walkie-talkie together, when you add a friend, who is available… You have to keep trying at this, because some people aren’t available… Voiceover will sound louder through the watch speaker. I would assume, voiceover with sound the same way it does whenever you’re using headphones and making a call on an iPhone running voiceover.
When are they going to add it so you could use it in the mountains without cell service?
not possible. the walkie-talkie uses VoIP to communicate which is essentially internet.
My Apple Watch is not working with walkie-talkie what do I need to do to get it right
Me and my best friend tried this, and it didn’t work. We both had it turned on, and we have each other as a contact. I know this was posted 3 yrs ago, but can you maybe help?

I think you could probably talk to someone anywhere in the same country if you’re near cell towers

I live close to San Francisco. In the event of an emergency, such as an earthquake: will there be an advantage to use the walkie-talkie over text message or phone?
No you still need internet for those messages to go through
Do you need WiFi or mobile connectivity. Going on a cruise would it work on the cruise ship without either

I can’t get my watch to show when I get invited to walkie talkie and my Moms watch won’t either. It lets us invite and then nothing happens

Turn off the bus viewed voiceover, the tap you’re getting the Apple Watch is turned into a double tap. It’s single tap well select the items but not open it. If you don’t want to have fingerprints on your Apple Watch while using voiceover, because you have to use your fingers, turn digital navigation on. Two finger tap three times on the watch screen for digital crown navigation on or off. Then, scroll as needed, but not too fast.

Does this feature actually work for anyone? I've been trying for 2 years to actually use this in the real world! I have a cellular 3rd gen and it never works Wifi or on cellular data.

Turn your face time on in your phone settings
All you have to do is initiate a FaceTime call and it will accept the walk-in talkie invite? It was real simple

None of these comments have time stamp, but that’s OK. Remove somebody from the walkie-talkie using voiceover, again, remember that a double tap activate the name. Then scroll down to remove and double tap. Again, I would think double tapping to start and stop the conversation would be possible. However, as I am just adding friends now, and a new user, I don’t know.
