ZENPHONE 2 Laser 550KL It satisfied my all requirements. Its a great gadget. Stylish, sleek, looks expensive, performance is exceptionally good for a phone under 10k. No LAGS AT ALL. The PROS : 1. The looks - Fantastic looks for a 10k phone , its built well and far better than other smart phones of this range. 10/10 2. The screen - 5.5" with gorilla glass 4.. more than enough and even though its 720p it is sharp enough and bright with very good viewing angles and the touch response is smooth and accurate. 10/10 3. The performance - Has a snapdragon 410 1.21 ghz soc , snappy performance - smooth game play ,no lags in usual day to day tasks , 800 to 900mb ram always free , 10.8gb internal space available for usage and sd card can be added ,no issues with the performance in any way. 9.5/10. 4.The camera - Very good camera with lots of settings and modes (manual mode, beautification, HDR , time lapse , time rewind , low light mode and many more).. Image quality is amazing in good lighting conditions and quite good in indoors as well (sometimes grainy in indoors but not a major issue), laser auto focus is really fast and focuses accurately, video recording is very good and what do i say about the front cam... simply superb for selfies with good color reproduction... so 8.5/10 for camera. 5. The audio - Some guys were telling speaker volume is low... i think they were expecting a subwoofer or something... come on guys the speaker is crystal clear and loud enough for call ringtones , songs and video playback. And coming to the audio through headphones -- MARVELOUS... connect any good headphone and you will enter into a new world of music.... 10/10. 6. The connectivity - Dual 4g sims and Jio 4G works fine, wifi , bluetooth , all is well and call quality is clear and distortion free... 10/10. 7. The Battery - The battery backup is superb -- --only calls and sms (2 days). --3g/4g internet with whatsapp, fb, browsing , light gaming (1-1.5 days). -- heavy usage (8-10 hrs easily)... 10/10 for battery, but the charger is a 1 amp unit so takes some time to charge. 8. The UI- smooth ,snappy and tons of features... font color ,font style ,themes' double tap to wake/sleep, gestures to launch apps, one handed mode etc etc The CONS 1. No cons actually according to me and don't get me wrong that i'm exaggerating or something... the phone IS REALLY GOOD for 8999/-
Asus is making a step in the right direction. If they want us to take them seriously however they have 2 more big steps to make: 1. A stock Android looking UI throughout 2. Timely and reliable update

4:10 mentioning full LTE support in the U.S. ASUS' website seems to suggest that this model doesn't have Band 12 support. Just 2 and 4 (among T-Mobile's LTE bands, anyway). And that is for the ZE551KL model.
I have the issue with the phone sometimes restarted suddenly and after restarting the battery level dropping so fast no matter what percentage my battery level is. For example the battery level is 60% and it suddenly restarts and the battery level is suddenly 40% and keep dropping until 3% in only a few minutes, even when I charge it. Anyone knows what caused it?
I've had my ZenFone 2 Laser for about two months with no problems at all. Exceptionally fast on multitasking and very battery efficient compared to other phones within the same price range.

Adnan Ahmed While it is true that 60 fps gives a much more fluid look to the video, I don't think it adds that much to the point where you can accurately assess the responsiveness. However, I do think that a slow-motion from a 60 fps recording or better is a great technique.
There are two positive reason why the power button is place on top. Number 1: We sometime accidentally press the power when we turn down the volume. Number 2: Since it has a gyroscope for VR. Mostly the popular china VR headset with an insert tray where we put different sizes of smartphone in it. Because it would be nicer to have a phone that has a power button on the side instead of the top because people with smaller hands may not know about the double tap to wake up and struggle to hit that power button

I have the Snapdragon 410|2 GB Ram version and it works great. It doesn't drain much battery if you use it casually. Gaming isn't half bad either. I can play Dead Effect in highest graphics without lagging. Camera is great too. My only problem is the screen brightness. It's kinda hard to see stuff when you are in bright areas and you have to set it to full brightness to get a decent view of your screen.
I am planning to buy the same version. I have two questions: Does laser AF prevent blurry shots on low light; and does 2GB RAM hurt multitasking performance.
+reha candan laser autofocus works well in low light but expect lower quality since it goes down to 3mp. Ram usage is ok. I tried opening all my apps and still had 500mb of ram left. In the end it still depends on how you manage your phone.

the center button at the top is the best location. I have the nexus 6p and the power button and volume button placement always gets in my way when i grip the phone. It is just the most annoying thing ever. With the power button at the top u can grip the phone the way you want to. The power button is not to be tampered with it is subjected tow ear and tear and will damage with over use.
