I watched it, gosh! The bride's supposedly happiest day became the worst day of her life. She was innocent and cheerful when she came into the house, just like her white wedding gown. By the time she leaves the place next morning, she is traumatised and her whole personality turns so dark, just like her wedding gown covered with blood all over and her hair messed.
Hands down ONE OF THE BEST one for me, the plot is interesting yet not complicated, i could feel the thrill and nerve wracking but not too much, also love the last plot twist 😂

Alex came from a very wealthy family and they lived in a big mansion. They had this tradition which was that after one of the family member marry someone they have to play a game. This tradition was started by Alex's great grandfather, Victor. Now the family members were Tony the father, Becky the mother Daniel the brother Alex the other brother and Emilie the Sister. So Daniel was also already married. Now the games would be usually like any board game. Or sometimes even hide and seek... When anyone got hide and seek the family members HAD TO FIND THE PERSON at all costs and kill them. If they didn't they'd die themselves. So Emilies husband also died due to that game because he lost, and when Grace choose a chit from a box hide and seek came, so they started it. Grace hid in a place for some time untill she got bored and went out... Well that's when her husband Alex found her and told her everything since he "loved" her he helped her hide but later he asked her "Will we still be together after all this" and so she refused and he got mad so he called his family and screamed she was here after much running (btw the family had to find her till sunrise) so after a lot grace got hurt a lot and right when they almost got her Daniel came and saved her! Yes he did! He THOUGHT that all his family was messed up crazy and that this was stupid and so he helped her untill Daniel's wife saw him and killed him. Becky the mother kept telling grace how much she loved her and that she was good for the family but it was best for the family. After that they got her finally and tied her up.. Then they started chanting a spell or something and then Alex almost killed her untill. It was too late, sunrise the whole family turned to dust they exploded and there blood was everywhere. After that Alex went to Grace and said "I'm the only one left because of you I love you" the reason he was still there because of the engagement ring and so Grace took it off and threw it on his face so he exploded as well... Then she sat there in the mansion blood everywhere Emilies kids also died because they were part of it as well they stabbed grace. At the end Grace went outside with a cigarette in her hand by then the police came and asked her: "What happened?!" So she said "In laws." THE END. I didn't give much detail but it's a really good movie recommend it!

She tried to get out the gate when she knew she wont last till morning, but she was eventually got caught, and they sent her into a place where they would do some ritual (smthin like that) for her fiancé to kill her, but she actually survived cuz she put bombs (i dont remember where she put the bombs but the bombs would explode in their head, i dont actually remember if it was bombs but yeah) they're heads exploded, thinking john would survive kate wanted him to die cause he did noting to help her she his head exploded too, bleeding almost everywhere she went outside to smoke while the polices came. Actually, you're almost right, except for the last part. They didn't explode because of bombs. I don't think it was, it was more likely the family curse the thing that killed them, except for her since she wasn't part of the family.
Bro this was my favorite movie from fox movies I even watched it on premiere 4 years ago. Jeez gives me back the nerves to think about it again. Also for those who haven't watched this yet, I recommend you doing so. 9/10

They had to kill her before sunshine. Now almost at the end of the movie most family members are dead. And its sunshine. And the family Exploded at sunshine.there was blood everywhere from the explosion of there bodys. And her husband was the last to explode. He told her he loved her and she told him "fuck you" or something. J watched the movie quite a long time ago. But after she told him that he also exploded. Im so glad this movie showed up on my shorts!! I watched this in class and even though I struggled to keep watching certain parts due to the blood, gore, and eveything else I LOVED IT SO MUCH!! 9/10 Grace is so amazing
Went to see this in theater when it came out and it was a late showing so it was just me, the people I came with, and a dude a little bit ahead of us. Only 5 people in the theater so we got to laugh when we wanted to and react genuinely without worrying about anyone getting onto us, afterwards we and the guy talked about how great the movie was and it was all around a fun experience. Try to pick late showings when you go to the theater, it's so much fun!

As he tells her that he plans to free Alex (Mark O’Brien), so they can leave together, Daniel’s wife Charity (Elyse Levesque) appears pointing a gun at Grace. Daniel steps in between them, so Charity shoots him--giving Daniel a fatal wound. Grace manages to disarm Charity and knock her out. Meanwhile, Alex breaks free and heads to find Grace. Grace gets trapped in a room with Alex’s mother Becky (Andie MacDowell). The two women fight but Grace gets the upper hand. She then bashes Becky’s face in, and Alex sees it. I loved Ready or Not, and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Gore isn’t too bad, there are some funny moments and the kills are definitely not boring.
This is one of my all time favorite movies! But to clarify something, it’s not always hide and seek, there’s a little blank card mechanism that can throw out any game. If you listen tot he other family members, not all of them say hide and seek, they say other games, like old maid and stuff

we watched this during my high school psychology class. crazy film.
For those who dont know, well here you go. (I forgot some peoples name so sorry)
There was a woman lets call her kate, kate has a fiancé lets call him john when kate and john got married, johns family has a tradition, so she officially join the family, she gets to spin a wheel to choose what game to play, if she survives until dawn, she is part of the family, unluckily she got hide and seek, she has to hide, and if she got caught shes dead. Her fiancé didn't tell her about this tradition, so shes not aware of whats gonna happen next,
As she hides, her fiancé was locked up in a room so he cant team up on her and let her survive, as she got caught by a worker she didn't think the the maid would snitch on her so she just let it slide, but he fiancé's family found her, she was disappointed cause she thought she woudnt be part of the family, but she realizes the she needs to SURVIVE realizing she ran away but coudnt cause the family locked every door to lead outside, her fiancé in the other hand tries to escape the room to help her, when he finally escaped, hes brothers wife saw him and told the family so kate had more time cause they were busy.
She tried to get out the gate when she knew she wont last till morning, but she was eventually got caught, and they sent her into a place where they would do some ritual (smthin like that) for her fiancé to kill her, but she actually survived cuz she put bombs (i dont remember where she put the bombs but the bombs would explode in their head, i dont actually remember if it was bombs but yeah) they're heads exploded, thinking john would survive kate wanted him to die cause he did noting to help her she his head exploded too, bleeding almost everywhere she went outside to smoke while the polices came.

So basically this lovely couple just got married and there both happy. On there wedding Day her now husband has told her his family has a "tradition" where she has to pick a card. When she picks a card there will be a game they play. She got hide and seek....
When the game started she thought she just had to hide. When she found a spot to hide. She still thought it was normal hide and seek.while she was happy about it the whole family exept her husband who loved her dearly were grabbing weapons to find and kill her.while they thought it would be easy. The whole family was dying because of that girl. Many of the family members loved the girl and didnt want to kill her.
Her housband actually tried finding her and helping her get throught this. They had to kill her before sunshine.
Now almost at the end of the movie most family members are dead. And its sunshine.
And the family Exploded at sunshine.there was blood everywhere from the explosion of there bodys. And her husband was the last to explode. He told her he loved her and she told him "fuck you" or something. J watched the movie quite a long time ago. But after she told him that he also exploded.
Then she set the house on fire and went outside and sat on the stairs as there were police and firefighters everywhere.
Heres why they exploded:
Basically a long time ago one of the family members made a pact with the devil. They would be rich and immortal. But what they had to do to get that is play the card game everytime theres a New family member. The other game werent dangerous and only the unlucky ones get hide n' seek. The other games are completely safe tho. And if someone gets hide and seek they have go kill them by sunshine to stay immortal or something.

Went to see this in theater when it came out and it was a late showing so it was just me, the people I came with, and a dude a little bit ahead of us. Only 5 people in the theater so we got to laugh when we wanted to and react genuinely without worrying about anyone getting onto us, afterwards we and the guy talked about how great the movie was and it was all around a fun experience. Try to pick late showings when you go to the theater, it's so much fun!

Grace is on her wedding night as she is unexpectedly forced to play a deadly game of Hide-And-Seek against her new in-laws. She hides, and they have until dawn to kill her or something very bad will happen to the family. Grace uses wit and determination to survive. The horror comedy offers gore galore and a grand fitting finale.
After Grace spends most of the night evading her new in-laws, they finally manage to catch her and get her held down on a table, ready to be sacrificed. And then her new husband's brother Daniel (Adam Brody) poisons his family to help Grace escape. As he tells her that he plans to free Alex (Mark O’Brien), so they can leave together, Daniel’s wife Charity (Elyse Levesque) appears pointing a gun at Grace.
Daniel steps in between them, so Charity shoots him--giving Daniel a fatal wound. Grace manages to disarm Charity and knock her out. Meanwhile, Alex breaks free and heads to find Grace. Grace gets trapped in a room with Alex’s mother Becky (Andie MacDowell).
The two women fight but Grace gets the upper hand. She then bashes Becky’s face in, and Alex sees it. He tries to reach out to Grace, but she recoils away. In that moment, he realizes that there is no turning back for them. Their marriage is over.
He then grabs her and calls for his family to start up the ritual. The family holds Grace down and Alex is about to put a dagger through her heart, but she moves away at the last second. Aunt Helene (Nicky Guadagni) then shows that the sun has risen. They have not fulfilled their duties to Mr. Le Bail. They wait for a moment, unsure of what's about to happen to them. All they knew was that, if the Hide and Seek card gets drawn, the newly added member to the family must be killed before the sun rises or something bad will happen to the whole family. After a few minutes of nothing happening, they believe that maybe it was just a hoax.
Then Aunt Helene explodes as she tries to kill Grace. One by one they all start to explode as Grace watches and laughs. Alex is the last one. He tries to beg Grace to take him back, and says that he was spared because he’s not like them, and she’s the reason that he gets another chance. Grace then tells him that she wants a divorce and takes off the ring. The moment she throws it at him, Alex explodes.
Grace leaves as the house burns down. Then sits on the mansion porch, in a bloody dress, smoking a cigarette, and an authority figure (police officer, EMT, or firefighter) asks her what happened here? She responds “in-laws."
I watched this movie when I was like 11 and it was terrifying and I had nightmares for days.
good movie. the ending scene where she sits at the stairs and just stares into nowhere is made so good.
This movie gave me goosebumps you have to watch it only if you want to be scared for life

This is one of my all time favorite movies! But to clarify something, it’s not always hide and seek, there’s a little blank card mechanism that can throw out any game. If you listen tot he other family members, not all of them say hide and seek, they say other games, like old maid and stuff

The movie is great, I watched it with my mom when it came out, some scenes just had me covering my ears.

In this family( info: this rich family has a company sort of thing for games or board games) there is a tradition of playing a game the night a couple gets married
They randomly choose the game using some sort of choosing card machine
But if the card says 'hide and seek' then the whoever married into the family must be killed before sunrise. If they catch the spouse the perform a satanic ritual as a sacrifice. The movie revolves around the spouse who survived the phsyco family
And at the end of the movie they all explode as they didn't sacrifice her and she gets all their money and property

However, this is not just a simple game, it is much more deadly. Basically, the bride has to survive until dawn, while the whole family helps her or hunts her down. The family does this because otherwise, they die because of some ghost.

As a child, Daniel le Domas is confronted in his family's mansion by a wounded man named Charles, who begs him for help. Instead, Daniel alerts his family, who arrive in ceremonial masks and robes. Despite his bride's pleas, Charles is shot with a speargun and dragged away into a locked room.
30 years later, Daniel's brother Alex, the estranged son of the owners of the successful Le Domas Family Games company, is set to marry Grace, a former foster child. On her wedding day, she meets the le Domases: Daniel and his snobbish wife Charity; Alex's cocaine-addicted sister Emilie, her oafish husband Fitch, and their young sons Georgie and Gabe; Alex's unpleasant Aunt Helene, and his parents Tony and Becky. After the ceremony, Tony explains that his ancestor Victor le Domas made a deal with a man named "le Bail" to build the Le Domas fortune in exchange for the family observing a tradition: at midnight on their wedding day, every new member draws a game card from Le Bail's puzzle box. Grace draws "Hide-and-Seek", offers a toast to le Bail, and as she hides the le Domases arm themselves. Alex enters the mansion's secret passages and finds Grace, who witnesses Emilie accidentally kill a maid whom she mistakes for Grace.
Alex reveals that his family is cursed: if the new member draws the Hide-and-Seek card, the rest of the family has to find and ritually sacrifice them before dawn or they die instead. If the in laws find grace they kill her and get to live. If grace survives then the in laws die. (I’m not sure off the ending so watch it and find out 😉)
