For those who don’t get (this is going to be a short explanation/opinion): They were going to kill the mum.The girlfriend already knew about the plan and I think they knew about the camera and were just acting. Am not sure because if they knew why would they say it out loud?But then again,maybe they were just crazy and wanted the mum to know about the plan?But then why would he put on an acting voice..?Maybe he did it in a kind of creepy way..as in he grinned with the knife in his/his girlfriends hand and was giving his mum a warning to run before he finds her? The tell-off that the story isn't real for me was the "My son isn't the brightest". Either the mom is a narcissist (and therefore her pov of the story would also be invalidate) or the story is just untrue. Very few mothers would speak of their children that way, no matter what they've done. It feels more like a writer describing their character.
He didn’t take her to the park, the car was in park, which is because he *parked* the car. As he took his girlfriend inside of his house, he said “let’s end her together” as in end her life, meaning they both were about to kill her.
