Honestly Serena has every right to be angry at Jenny after what happened with Nate but it got to a point later on when Serena just wouldn’t stop arguing and provoking Jenny even when Jenny was trying to be helpful and it got tiring to watch because usually when people tell Jenny off or insult her it doesn’t ever go well and she does some stuff that’s really detrimental and Serena was just fighting with Jenny over anything and causing issues
Serena gets sooo annoying
if you had lily as a mother and william as a father you’d be annoying too
this is actually SO vicious of jenny. jenny had the most loyal, nurturing, supportive and predictable father ever and often treated him like shit. for her to rain on serenas efforts to bond with her father, no matter how delusional she is, is incredibly vile.
Well to be fair the scene when Jenny and Serena fight happens before Jenny hints that Serena had a crazy past. And also Rufus wasn’t the perfect dad yall think he is. He had MANYYYYYY faults when it came to Jenny. I would never use supportive or necessarily loyal to describe Rufus 😭💀but overall both Jenny and Rufus had their own fare share of mistakes and petty behavior on both sides of their fights
Lily should have never ended up with William, either end up with Rufus or happily single.
I can’t tell whose hair looks worse here, Serena’s dry ugly frizzy unwashed ponytail or Jenny’s stringy thin and tangled extensions that look awful curled 😭
Honestly I don't understand people who think Rufus and Lily were meant to be. They were so veeery different, I always could see them as a fling at best, but for long-term relationship it is clear that Lily needed a wealthy, powerful man from the same scene as she was.
i dont think its the lack of wealth or power per se, its that lilly could be cunning and quite vicious, and rufus couldnt, and i think it takes a toxic woman like lilly an equally or more toxic man so she will actually respect him. its sad but i have often seen it.
@@marykay7878I loved reading this comment because it was so accurate! FUCK. Rufus really deserved a down to earth woman and lily just always needed a new attraction to keep her life going. She loved the chase and Rufus wasn’t really appreciated for how hard he fought to win her back in this scene until after William caused just enough damage.
