That’s great news! You never forget your first spec. It fairly jumps out at you when in the pan doesn’t it? Hopefully that spot keeps giving up its hold for you.

That area is stunning, do you still live in Scotland? You can still visit your old spots when you have time no?
You’re welcome, I wish I had more gold to show but I guess 90% of prospecting is trying to find spots haha.

Awesome video, mate. Im surprised you don't have more subscribers to be honest.
Australian here: its amazing seeing how different the geology is there and the amount of gold you get. I suppose i dont realise that you guys have provably been mining gold for millenia and im just spoiled having been born in one of the most gold rich and new to mining continents on the planet.
Looking forward to your next vid. Cheers bro.

Hey man, thanks it means a lot! I guess youtube can be funny about what videos it pushes out but it is what it is. This is my hobby and just recording my journey learning about prospecting.
Scotland has the rarest gold but highest purity, with some of the oldest geology in the world, I think we have more gold here than what’s lead to believe. However it’s finding it that’s the hard part.
I’d love to visit AUS one day, I love watching all the prospecting videos from down under. Such a beautiful country, just why does every animal have the ability to kill you 😅
Thanks for your support, going to check out your channel now.

@@NuggetNinjaAdventures same here. I've just started making videos to share with the people I meet on the creeks
Your Vids are really well done though. They've got a documentary quality to them.
Fun fact: the animals won't bother you unless you bother them. I'm 44 and ive never even had a spider bite me

@@frenchys_prospecting thanks man, that means a lot to me. There’s still so many areas to explore for me here in Scotland. Can’t wait to earn my name one day, just gotta keep putting myself out there.
You’re so right about animals. Just to be respectful and keep your distance. I’ve passed bulls on my walks before, it did cross my mind that they could really mess me up if they weren’t electric fenced in.
Always trying to improve on my filming and editing, trying to be as authentic as possible with my videos. I don’t by any means claim to be an amateur prospector still finding my feet and trying to understand geology. The gold community world wide is awesome though, we’re all from different backgrounds and corners of the world sharing the same goal and common interests.

@@NuggetNinjaAdventures its absolutely a great community. I recently went to another RUclipsrs day out here in Victoria with my mates dad and he was talking to a guy about his detector and he let him take it for the day. A $6k detector and he'd never even met him before.

Love the videos. A question for anyone who can answer. I just started last week and only been out the once to a wee burn and found some very tiny dust specs of gold. But when i dug abit deeper there was nothing do i still dig the area or just move spots

    • @NuggetNinjaAdventures
      @NuggetNinjaAdventures  2 месяца назад +1

I’d be keen to hear others opinion on this too, my guess it’s flood gold if it’s sitting not to deep, then overtime it would eventually work its way down to bedrock. Might be worth testing further upstream first to see if you can find the gold line.

RUclips can be funny sometimes, like when it says I’m not subscribed to people but I know I hit that button. Honestly checked about 200m either side of where I found gold and a total of about 30 test pans over 7 hours. Left the clips out to not make too boring a video haha. I kept saying to myself it can’t be just one spec. So many catchments in that area.

    • @NuggetNinjaAdventures

It was tyndrum I was talking about in my video where I got rained out. It was scary and humbling how quick the water rose. Almost lost my big sluice too haha. I’d love to try tyndrum again. I really want to head back to that area again. So many spots there I’ve not yet seen.
