    Thanks for the video! Ignore the negative comments. I live in the LA area and have relatives in the KC area. Anything negative about KC is nothing compared to LA, including crime, cost, price, etc

    Very good list of pros and cons. It’s very encouraging for me to know that North Kansas City school district has good education.

    Excellent information. I'm planning on moving out there in 4 to 5 yrs after are son graduates from school. Then free to dip on out of California. Kansas City Mo is gonna be the next DFW,Austin area in 7 to 10 years watch. I have to beat the boom so I can hop on a nice home in $310k to $340k area .

      @LivingInKansasCity-JaylennWong If I was wealthy SoCal. U would see me in a beautiful home in Burbank or Cerritos. Nor Cal is cheaper but now starting to get semi expensive. Fuel is still on average $4.90cents here. And registered vehicles still run u around $600 -800 for vehicles. Getting closer an closer to dip on out. Another few yrs.

    is this called a great place for families to live? Seriously? No public transit to the airport, no good public transit system in general., that means car dependency and poor walkability index. Record homicides rates means lots of poor people there who are willing to commit a crime. No thanks, not gonna live there.

    • @LivingInKansasCity-JaylennWong
      @LivingInKansasCity-JaylennWong  6 месяцев назад

      Thanks for your comment! Yes, seriously, this is a great place for families to live. Of course, there are deficiencies, but if you want an affordable metro with plenty of things to do, then this is a great option. Not all of the areas are crime-infested. What do you think is better?

    • @Billybob-el3cl

      They are taking about Johnson county Kansas , places like Overland Park. City proper is obviously the poorest most dangerous part of the area

      @@Billybob-el3cl Yes, Johnson County is great, but there are fantastic things about the Missouri side as well. I don't have a dog in the race, I enjoy both sides equally. However, I think that you're misrepresenting KC as a whole if you only talk about the JoCo side being great.

      Kansas City is in Missouri. Hilariously bad inner city schools and infrastructure in the city itself.
      It is genuinely appalling what the city chooses to spend money on vs clean up their trash/infrastructure issues.
      The schools will take a miracle to change. The “culture” makes good schools impossible regardless of staffing/investments.
