I love Mists. The puzzle isn't nearly as annoying as Moorchie.
I wish mist puzzle thing was rotated daily or weekly instead of each zone in. Also first boss shouldn't be the make or break point on if you can time it.
I loved nerco wake because using the environment is super interesting. Same reason I miss bfa snapping. Not something I want in every key but interesting environmental mechanics are neat.

necrotic wake was my favorite shadowlands dungeon lol, last 2 bosses could use some tuning though, and i hope we can still use weapons and orbs

I am a big fan of BfA dungeons but Boralus was probably one of the worst M+ dungeons ever in the game.
Aside of the giant, the bosses were all hot garbage.

Boralus with aids > Grim Batol
Im willing to wager that Batol will be better than Boralus.
I honestly think with modern tunning/class design it will feel a lot better than it did in BFA.
I wonder how Boralus works with cross faction groups
people have been complaining online that wow is too casual for its whole life span so I'm super curious what data they have that shows casual players are under served. or even what parameters they use to determine casual or hardcore.
Gimmicky damage sources like the chains and weapons and stuff just suck in an M+ setting. Allow that stuff in N, H and M0 if they want the flavor, but disable it in +2 and up imo.
Ill never step into Mists of Tirna Sicthe ever again. Theres not a force strong enough to get me into that god damned place ever again.
As primarily an M+ player, i really do not like things that force me do things that doesn't have my character do the dmg.
Things like bomb runs with dragons, vehicle combat, dragon flying like in Nokhud Offensive in Dragonflight with annoying travel time further keeping me out of combat
Despite what a lot of people say about the expansion its self, a lot of the shadowlands dungeons were great
I am sad about the raidbuffs, i think they are the biggest problem in balance right now.
I liked Necrotic Wake a lot (after we wiped in there in every possible way).
Disliked Mist.
Hated Boralus.
I love Grim Batol but will have to see how it will be, because they'll change all mechanics and mobs most likely.

M0 now being approximately M10 would be a nice cap for heroic week. Just don’t release M+ until Mythic week. Vault would be fine and no one needs to push M+ during heroic week. I think that is a win.

I am cool with bringing old dungeons to M+ even if they are buggy or not the best sometimes. I would love to see some classic dungeons in M+

"Over half of all seasonal affixes are bad" that is absolutely true and a fair view point. But I think it's more correct to say, "the only affixes anyone has ever enjoyed were seasonals."
Out of curiosity your happy about the rotating pool are you happy to not experience half the new dungeons on a 0 for 6 months?
considering theyre shooting for a much faster turn around between content patches and expansions in general, I think the pace between the dungeon pool reset is going to be a lot nicer this time around. Agreed on it KIND OF being a bummer not being able to experience half the new dungeons but I do think this is better than have the SAME dungeons for ~ 2 years in the past.
@@eyezra6419 they could just release all the new dungeons as m+ season 1 then start rotating in season 2.

I find that, doing a dungeon rotation is really really great, but to be honest, i would have been happier if they brought all the new dungeons in the first season, into rotating 4 of them to 4 old ones in season 2 (and so on in season 3). It was, for me, the downside of this system in dragonflight and i'm kinda sad that they kept it that way.
if they did it that way then many ppl would quit after playing all the new dungeons in s1.

Regarding the topic of "Difficult Mythic Bosses":
I think it's tragic that we have people in the RWF (Preach comes to mind) who are claiming Amirdrassil was "one of the best races of all time" while -- correct me if I'm wrong -- simultaneously the entire rest of the Mythic raiding playerbase outside of Liquid and Echo pretty unanimously despised the difficulty curve of Amirdrassil. What the fuck is Blizzard supposed to do with this information? How is it actionable?
I think part of it is boss design part of it is game design.
They can slow down the pace at which you get gear. This would allow them to create a more natural curve for boss difficulty. Alternatively they could just make easier raids and that’ll solve it.
@@Tettles Max made a good point in his video he released today too: Liquid cleared Mythic Fyrakk with an average ilvl of around 480. And the rest of the playerbase only had about 6-8 extra ilvl to work with as a crutch to get Tindral or Fyrakk down. If the maximum (no pun intended) ilvl for a season is much higher than what is required to kill the bosses, that could fix the problem too. Essentially, even if you're unskilled, you could eventually power through if you got 20 more ilvl worth of stats.
@@AuraPanda tindral and fyrakk are failed boss designs. not even 1k guilds managed to kill fyrakk and tindral is probably the WORST boss to hit the live servers. when every ability is a wipe risk, just rework the boss or tune it in a way that not every single ability stops the progress.
atleast 1,5k guilds managed to kill raszageth and sarkareth. fyrakk is just that much harder and could be a legion boss with all those wipe mechanics.
Bringing back old dungeons is so divisive because enjoyment is subjective. Some people love MOTS, I can't stand the maze. Other people hate NW, I thought it was OK (weapons aside). SoB is one of those that are quite universally hated, so it's a strange decision.
true. i hate mist but loved necrotic wake. NW was only only hard at tyranical week with last boss besides that it is quite fun.
i dislike mist bc it is so restricted until after 2nd boss
I hope they remove the maze section and just make it a lineair path that never changes. They did the same with WM, think they eventually fixed witch spawns too
@@Titandwarf the thing i dislike about the maze is more the fact that you are restricted to 1 pack at a time
and yes i am aware you can pull through the wall it just takes too long
@@cd2194i remember them doing a lot of fixes at the end of SL so you couldn’t pull trough walls, they have done a couple of those this expansion so, at least half the S1 dungeons are looking horrible lol
Not excited for m+ in season 4 or war within, not sure how much m+ i'll be doing unfortunately

i like rotating dungeons. I hate S1 having old dungeons. S1 should be all new, then start rotating. The basic shit affixes should be removed. Keep tyran/fort and add a seasonal affix.

I'm just pissed over the SL dungeons in the pool... Give us all the new 8 dungeons, like what the hell? Bring back old ones in s2 and so on. But giving us Mists, Necrotic Wake and Siege of Boralus is a fuck you at us all. Grim Batol now however... We flying around killing 70% of the mobs? I really hope at least. But the bosses? Holy shit, this will be by far the toughest dungeon.
Mist is the worst dungeon experience for me, I might skip season 1 if there is no cool/big changes done to these dungeons

@@catalystcorp saying no changes to raid buffs means exactly that. And the history of the treatment( elemental being entirely ignored) yeah. If they actually cared throughout shadowlands, dragon flight, now TWW, they'd have something to tease.

If Blizz has proven anything in DF, it’s their ability to make great dungeons worse (CoS FH WM) and awful dungeons better (HoV UR BH)

@@kayladecant7332UR was awful till S4, at first you could skip the beginning with invis/shroud but for blizzard reasons they added eyes to the Masks lol
And I agree, blizzard has been awful reworking old dungeons, Uldaman Jade temple and Vortex being their worst work.
My biggest fear with grim batol is the bombing run (assuming they keep it). There will be a "meta" as far as which packs everyone is "supposed" to hit, according to whichever streamers decide the best packs are. And when that inevitably happens and someone does it incorrectly, or just afks it altogether, the group is going to instantly disband. Itll be such a large learning curve for newer players than the other dungeons, and i think if they try to keep this section of the dungeon it will end up being one of the most abandoned keys of all time. On top of that, the dragon combat part is just super boring and terrible. I really hope they just drop it altogether, but if they dont, i anticipate that I'll start leaving keys which is something i never do unless the key just isnt doable.
mists and nw are so mid imo
Not thrilled with most of this news.... Dungeon pool seems not good.... raid/M+ balance has been poor, raid comps are also pretty bad currently, no acknowledgment of the train wreck that is Aug which should be just removed from the game. I've been working on the "A World Awoken" meta achievement, and it's been a harsh reminder about just how BAD the content was this expansion. I know there is the saying of "if you don't like it then don't do it" and I agree, but the dislike/like ratio of content is tipping towards the "is it worth buying next expac or keeping the sub?" territory.
The 2 worst shadowlands dungeons, arguably the worst m+ dungeon ever made and an ancient dungeon that has a bombing run. Hopefully the war within dungeons are bangers.

You get, first 4 dungeons are new dungeons, other 4 are repeats from the past expansions.
@@zekonja90 There are also an additional 4 new leveling dungeons which will inevitably be in the WWI S2 pool.
garbage legacy dungeons...no one likes rp and puzzles and m+ should cater to better players, casuals do not do m+
i love the puzzles and gauntlets. gameplay is gameplay and introducing different kinds of gameplay tests different skills. not everyone likes that, granted
@@VizerPS they have no place in m+, there can be puzzles in other modes but in a timed dungeon that every mistake means something rng evens that fuck with that are hurting the whole game mode.
I push the highest keys I can and I like rp. It gives cooldowns time to come back, makes the dungeon more streamlined, and lets me have a sip of beer without worrying about my screen

3,6k player here: mists is probably the best dungeon in shadowlands and quite fair. the maze is easy to handle because the trash packs arent difficult to handle.
i agree with the rp. nobody likes forced rp stops.
I really enjoyed Siege of Boralus. Didn't take you for a guy that only wants junkyards and SBGs, Tettles. Hard dungeons are fun
siege is a dogwater dungeon. if you truly enjoy difficult dungeons, you would say that kingsrest, shrine and sanguine depths are better. siege as bad as seat in legion.
