Im new to wow and im playing healer.if you mind control that mob ,does he heal ur team or just mind controlling him from preventing the healing for enemy mob?

So you mind control again before he runs out or do you wait for it to expire before mins controlling again ? I ask cause I haven’t MC/DM for more than 1 cycle

Dominate mind is a 30s cooldown AND 30 second duration. IF you cancel your minion early you wont be able to have it full time. The only time you should cancel it early is if you want to release it so that your group can kill it with another set of mobs; you do not want to have to kill it by itsself because single target takes more time.
So if you want to keep your minion, you need to let it time out and he will run towards you to attack you. You have to be ready to fade to drop agro and recast mindcontrol before the mob causes any problems.
