Say what you want about the current economic situation in the United States and Canada, however, prices for all action figures are out of control now. Once I hear the price, it’s an immediate turn off, no matter how sick the figure looks.
I live in Italy and it’s not that different…imo you can be a huge collector in 2 cases: 1) you have a TON of money 2) You live in places like Japan, China, Vietnam etc were prices are low (and you have a good amount of money)
@@the_nightmare_anime7869 I’m referring to the fact that the manufacturers have increased the prices of their products to the level where the average consumer cannot afford to purchase them anymore. Prices won’t be going down in the future, either. It’s just madness, especially when considering how the quality has also gone down for most manufacturers as well.
That's understandable but Anthony said it best they are luxury items we don't need them, they need our money we don't need their items. So if the price is a turn off (for me the exact same) hold true to that, food is a good thing to get and paying for home is good too.
The Odin and Hulkbuster were $60 each amd Ghostrider and bike was $50. I got them all and love them but I know I overpaid. The Red Hulk for $35 was more reasonable. So I don't know how Odin is almost double that but ok.
For “Mini Hot Toys” Iron Man figures, you should definitely try one of ThreeZero’s offerings. Roughly McFarlane scale, exquisite paint, terrific build quality, and pretty crazy articulation. They’re about a hundred bucks, but well worth it.
I feel like the best one for me is the mk 50 mafex. I know it is nano tech but the amount of accessories and option you have make it so fun to just take shots and pose around! I would to see a review of it from you!
at first, i'm happy that finally there is another company doing 'play arts kai scale' figure, and i agree it looks really good but for this thing to be unable to be articulated is a big bummer, and another thing is that the articulation on the torso is really looking the same like the one that hot toys used
@@AnthonysCustomsexcellent. I can't wait to see your take on them. Meanwhile here in the UK we're still waiting for them to hit the shops. Some time next month from what I can tell.
I hate light-up features. They almost always sacrifice articulation and no one is displaying them lit up. So instead of having a great looking and well-articulated figure, you have a great looking, somewhat articulated figure that has dull eyes or wherever the light isn’t coming from all the time.
1/9th scale is such a weird scale. Like I’m so used 1/12 and 1/10 scale for your average action figure and RC cars. Then you have 1/6 and that’s your traditional GI Joe, Barbie, Hot Toys. It’s the scale used typically for premium collectibles because it shows details better and soft goods drape over the body more realistically.
Weird that they couldn't just cut a notch on the top of the articulated hands to make it do the repulser blast pose. It would be covered by the hand panel anyways and they would save money on making the extra hands.
Just a warning for you articulation junkies, ZD Toys looks beautiful but they don’t pose well either. I prefer the good paint and details over marvel legends articulation and gross colours and finish.
Your reviews do not include posing them, but I would love to see if it can do some of the classic MCU Ironman poses like the kneeling hero pose. It doesn’t look like it can - questionable head/neck, ab, and knee articulations? But it looks beautiful if he is just standing… hahaha…. It might be worth it at discount just as a beautiful statue… haha…. Otherwise, it is very close to Hot Toys price.

The Threezero iron man figures are the best iron man’s. I started only collecting those instead of Hasbro
Agreed. I feel those are the real HT at a smaller scale, wish they d start making other characters tho
ThreeZero seems to find the right balance between looks and prices.
The only issue is the scale, they're more 1/10 than 1/12.
This review brings back 3A Masterchief memories
Oh man. That figure was a nightmare
Bro you don't do it often but surely your giving this figure a 10/10 for the aesthetic wow!! (This is me seeing the thumbnail)
mhmm
Almost
I am going to get the Threezero Mk 46, i’ve been really happy with them.
Threezero figures are half the price and still deliver amazing quality

For me the best Ironman is Amazing Yamaguchi one. Not only it looks amazing, it has also amazing articulation.
It looks really cool, but if it can't pose well it is just a statue.
All these limitations make me wish for an unlit version with better range.

I think a 4 is generous @$200. Having that level of QC, at that price point, is ridiculous.
I think this should be a case study on companies that should stick with making statues instead of action figures.
They totally would have killed it if it was just a statue with effect parts
Anthony you should take a look at the zd toys iron man figures. They’re affordable and look incredible. They also fit in with legends relatively well.
Is 1/9 Diamond Select scale, or am I mistaking that for 1/10 scale?
Ms is 7 inch so 1/10
Will you be reviewing the Tunshi Studio Terry Bogard?
I was about to request that too
Yes

Whoa for $200, I’d rather get a couple of iron man dlx figures, or even the Mezco ones. Articulation is way too limited on this.
Going to have to defer to the flock and say the Threezero Iron Man figures look best
Hope to get that figure 😅😊
The sculpt and finish look fantastic. The articulation and QC issues (combined with the price) are a big no no.
it's a WOW!!!!!
Great looking statue!
The Hot Toys Diecast Ironman Matk 46 a great piece
When are you going to review the new street fighter Jada wave?
I just filmed them today
@@AnthonysCustoms I felt something in the Force, indeed.

Excellent review 🤌🏼
This figure is sick but also, where did you get that stand?!
Will you ever review threezeros iron man dlx line?
I might
That would have been a good statue. I kinda guess it is.

$200 is crazy. For $100 more you can have a diecast Hot Toys Iron Man with tons of accessories. Huge L
I mean... That's still 50% more. 300 vs 200 isn't insignificant.
@ What I’m saying is, just save a bit more and get way better value for your money.
You aren't getting a diecast iron man for 300 bucks lol
@ That’s crazy because my Hot Toys MK46 was $315 from Sideshow
@@crispy_338 thanks for proving me right then.
Do you buy zd toys iron man ?
No
Guys like, honest to god why would anyone buy this when the Holographic mark 85 by hot toys is 250 usd in amazon?
It’s still here ? I thought it closed
What?
@@AnthonysCustoms 😄 just say, yep totally

I do pose the figures when they are poseable. This guy really isn't.
