These might be my favorite kind of Robo videos: where he truly Doesn't Know a brand/franchise and is just looking at a cool toy. Helps remind me why I'm in this hobby and community: to have fun. Thanks for keeping it positive, Robo!
Jada really did solve the formula for Mega Man figures. I have older D-Arts ones, and these are far more articulated. I think between wave 1 and wave 2 there was a change in production (something changed, I recall hearing it in an interview) - and it resulted in far cleaner paint applications. My wave 1 Mega Man had some issues with paint, but nothing terrible. I am looking forward to getting wave 2 and MORE in the future! Keep them coming, Jada!
Yeah, I had a couple of the D-Arts back in the day (currently stuck at grandma's house as we moved away 😅) and while fun these are certainly an improvement. More torso and headbarticulation, more stable feet (gone are the days of them just popping out cause you looked at the wrong), honestly the only thing those still have over these are the double jointed elbows and knees, but the rest of the articulation make up for it IMO.
@@ryanbuck7483 Both would be awesome, especially Yellow Devil. The games were full of awesome designs. Remember those mecha toads that threw mini toads at you in Bubble Man's stage? Those would look good in plastic too.
@@mcrmaza I at the very least would just like to see a complete Mega Man 1 roster, with Guts Man, Bomb Man, Doctor Light, Roll and Doctor Willy (specially if he came with his little shuttle!), but if we could get Yellow Devil and some of the standard enemies from stages? I'd be so damn happy! (Also if Bass, Rush, Treble & Duo joined the line as well!)
I’ve never played Mega Man in my life but there’s something so pure and enjoyable about these toys. The colours pop and the head sculpts are so good. So much fun to be had with this line
You should play the games, they're fun! Specially the later sagas (MMZ for example being my favorite) but even if you never do yeah its hella fun, if you wanna check out some f the possible future designs I'd recomend looking up the different games and checking out their respective Robot Masters/bosses to see what designs you'd like to see join the line next!
Yeah lowkey should've gone the D-Arts route with this guys for that, though the team did seem to imply more standard Mega Man heads in the future as wave 3's supposed to come with a new helmeted head PLUS an unhelmeted head, so at least that's something
Good recomendation NGL, and yeah its lowkey a quick crash course on the basics. But please for the love of God if anyone here does it: Mega Man's name is Rock, that is his actual name and Mega Man is more of a title, his name is not "Mega" as MM11 & Powered Up would have you believe. Sorry nitpick but its irritating as all hell.
I've got to take the time out to tell you how much I appreciate the layout of this video. The order in which you reviewed them and how you observed the minute details and differences between the figures. Bravo, dude. Keep it up! I can't wait to get these.
1) You don't need to know anything to enjoy it, so I say go for it! 2) In case you'd like to know some more character wise I'd recomend either the Archie comics series or even Mega Man Mega Mix. But for some basics: Cut Man's basically the kid of the group of original Robot Masters, a bit of a jokester but a good kid with a kind heart (when not under Dr. Willy's control), he was made to explore jungles, hence his cutting function to dispatch of any difficult terrain or for self defense!
YEEEEES!!!! You don't know how happy it makes me to see you take a look at this guys! They're my most looked forward to release of the year!!! If you really are curious about them I'd recomend the wave 1 guys (Fire Man & Ice Man) as with them you'd only need Jada to make Guts Man and Bomb Man (the guy Mega Man gets the Hyper Bomb power from) to complete the set, but the next few waves are looking hella good too!!! Oh and some fun facts: •The Yellow line on the buster should be pointing out yes, but its purpose is informing Rock how much HP he has •Cut Man does grab the scissors from his head to throw them, but they also work like boomerangs and return to him •All the characters represented here as figures are of what are known as Robot Masters, so perhaps there's room for you on the team! •While the classic series focuses on the Robot Masters as enemies (robots that appear human or are mostly anthropomorphic), the X series mostly has animal themed bosses (refered to as "Mavericks" due to their wild and dangerous nature) so if this line does well we might get to them some day soon, and trust me they'd look killer next to the food mascots!!!
This is my new favourite line, and I am ALL. IN. I'm waiting for Christmas sales to grab this wave, but I can already tell Cut Man is gonna be a highlight of the year for me just because he _pops_ so much, but I'm liking Elec Man more than I thought I would (not a fan of his design, but it works better in toy form). I'm really hoping we get Mega Man 2 figures announced soon. Give me Metal Man!
IDK if you saw but waves 3 & 4 have been shown, meaning the line has some hope, and if wave 3 having Wood Man and Bubble Man are any indication we might get the rest of them sooner rather than later!!! (Really wanting Metal Man too NGL, defenitly top 10 Robot Master for me)
These figures are great! I remember being a kid in 1995 trying to get the Bandai figures. I am so happy to have good Megaman figures. I love that we are getting so many Robot Masters, but I am looking forward to figures of the NPC characters the most. Doctor Light, Doctor Wily, Doctor Cassack, Roll, Rush, Protoman, Auto.
I love this line so much! My top ten wants are... 1. Roll (with Eddie) 2. Rush 3. Dr. Wily 4. Guts Man 5. Splash Woman 6. Bass 7. Bomb Man 8. Metal Man 9. Tango (with Beat) 10. Plant Man
i love these figures, i've been into megaman toys since the early 2000's as a literal 4 year old in 2003, i now have like every 90s megaman/rockman toy including rare lucky draw model kits, odd ball bootlegs and extremely weird pieces. i remember being obsessed with retro roto's then being so disappointed when they canceled wave 2, heatman was up on toywiz along with iceman and woodman back in like 2006 only for them to be canned. since i always wanted a robot master toy line based on that early character sheet art, i really hope these do well, i have been buying 3 of each for myself and a set for my sibling and gf.
I really hope they start branching out more for the line. Getting a Proto Man and a Bass would be awesome. Also, I'd love a deluxe Mega Man 2 MM figure, with the cape and hair from the intro. Guts Man would be another great deluxe figure. Also, i think its "eeleck" man, with a long E at the start. But i could be wrong.
My only gripe with this toy line is the inclusion of the different mega man’s with power ups. We only need one. They should just focus on the robot masters.
I love these, but I'm a little disappointed every wave will have a Mega Man variant. With wave 3 having an un-helmeted Mega Man and wave 4 having Gemini Laser Mega Man. It is awesome that wave 4 will have Proto Man, but it should have included 2 robot masters with him, not another Mega Man. I need more robot masters, not more Mega Mans.
I can understand if you prefer the proportions of the import mega man figures where he's thinner/lankier and cleaner but these are a really good proof of concept and engineering for small characters. Video game characters already usually have very limited figures, not even considering the often smaller characters
@@owene2530 I don't like the plastic quality. It's way too shiny. I also really don't like the face sculpts or expressions chosen. Like, wtf is that red triangle mouth on bomb Megaman? Seems like nothing has come close to dethroning the 4 inch nel figures yet.
Where is Veebs? Does he know you have his toys?

Imagine the line does extremely good and we even get to see Dr. Wily's mecha dragon someday.
I would also love a Guts Tank and a Yellow Devil

Give Megaman 2 a try or the original Megaman X. Peak. I don’t recommend the first Megaman game where these designs are from honestly. 😅
Jada taking over. SF, MM, food mascot figs, and the up coming Scooby Doo line...chefs kiss.
It would be awesome if they had a faceplate system where newer Megaman face sculpts could be used on the classic blue figure.
Yeah lowkey should've gone the D-Arts route with this guys for that, though the team did seem to imply more standard Mega Man heads in the future as wave 3's supposed to come with a new helmeted head PLUS an unhelmeted head, so at least that's something
I'd absolutely love if JADA got their hands on more CAPCOM franchises. Darkstalkers, Resident Evil, Onimusha, the Capcom side of MvC, etc.
All we need is Morrigan, Strider Hiryu, Jin, and Captain Commando (and Roll!) for an MvC1 roster.
And aside from that what I wouldn't give for some Devil May Cry, Okami, Ace Attourney, Viewtiful Joe and Final Fight figures from them as well!
Megaman was one of the many NES games that would make a man out of you....or just shatter your gamer self esteem for years to come.
Fun fact. Elec Man's mask and general design was loosely based on Wolverine's.
This line is the line of my dream. I dreamt about a extensive and deep line for MegaMan since I start collecting... Dreams do come true guys
Want to get into Mega Man easily? Play Mega Man 11! It’s basically designed for people to get into Mega Man!
Also…Mega Buster. Name of the arm cannon.
Good recomendation NGL, and yeah its lowkey a quick crash course on the basics.

I know nothing about megaman , but cut man looks super interesting, the colors really pop, I'm tempted

I can’t wait for wave 3. Wood Man! Finally!
I myself am most looking forward to wave 4, finally Proto Man after Bandai skipped him! Plus Snake Man!!!
@ It’s so awesome seeing them get beyond the first game. I’m also curious what they’ll do if/when they get to someone like Centaur Man.
Yes. Yes you do need to get the rest of wave 1 😂 I love these guys. Simple, but fun. Couldn’t agree more
It's a beautiful morning!
Jada is absolutely crushing it. It’s the Mega Man toy line I always dreamed of.

Definitely gonna pick up one of these to customize into Gran Torino for my McFarlane MHA shelf. They look dope af!
I have been waiting for these I need that elect man and cut man as soon as these drop Jada is killing it
Cut Man has always been a personal favourite of mine. Looks Jada Toys is kickin’ ass with another beloved property.
I love this wave. Wave 1 and 2 is enough for now. Gutsman and Bombman is the missing piece for Megaman 1 and thats more enough for me.
Im excited for Snake Man. Hoping for Metal Man and Skull Man.

Oh man, you’re going to be hooked now. Fire and Ice man are just as good.
God, I have been champing at the bit for these, ESPECIALLY Cutman.
Robo on the fence about Ice Man and Fire Man? Two specialist Robot Masters with opposed powers. Ordered in 3... 2... 😅
Great figures, all in on this line. Hoping to someday get my favorite robot masters!
4:19
Reminds me of Buzz Lightyear
Didnt Jada do a factory switch between toy waves?
Yes
I cant wait to get mine from bbts
Hoping for Megaman Legends figures someday 🤞. By far my favorite look for the character
I really hope they start branching out more for the line. Getting a Proto Man and a Bass would be awesome.

Guts Man would be another great deluxe figure.

Definitely need a megaman for my upcoming Marvel V Capcom display
The articulation is quite good on these, but I think I´ll be picking up just Cut Man
Pretty good
Juhn said they changed factories for wave 2. Hence the improvement from Wave 1
My only gripe with this toy line is the inclusion of the different mega man’s with power ups. We only need one. They should just focus on the robot masters.
Im .. "patiently" waiting for Threezeros version to come out for a comparison, reckon they will come out in 2030
I'm afraid you do need all the rest of them now.
I wonder if these figures will release on BBTS before 2026
Megaman 8 best mega
GIVE ME GUTS MAN AND BOMB MAN NOW JADA!
Isn't wave 2 from a different factory?
Yes

Hey robo you remember storm collectibles did you sell those already or not?
Elec-man's boots look like something else to me. I'll let you figure that one out
Jada toys proves that all these other companies are charging way to much for there stuff especially hasbro. They make amazing stuff for unreal prices.
Use mega man as ur Noh-Varr lolz
"the lower part of the upper leg"
So above the knee?
I think these look terrible. :/
Try glasses
They look like the reference art and damn good so your alone there
