Big fan of everything you do, but I gotta say it: dang, Robo what were you even doing in 1991-1992? You weren't playing SFII! You weren't digging the X-Men comics or cartoon during that post-Claremont era! What were you doing, being gainfully employed and spending quality time with members of the opposite sex or something?!? 😂
I think the same thing…lol. I was mowing lawns for money to waste at Food Lion playing Street Fighter 2. We waited in lines at times, putting quarters on the game to signify next player. The champ stayed, the rest paid.

the idea of Robo as a child at the arcade, with no beard is just so hard to picture, so I'm choosing to imagine child Robo is just present day Robo but smaller, beard and hat and all. Also love the music cues as always
They are CRUSHING this license and at the most reasonable price point I could believe. I will be SHOCKED if they ask less than $39.99 for the big boys since Gief, Honda, Sagat, Balrog and T Hawk are all quite a bit larger.
I hope they decide to make a go at other games in the series. I'd love to see Poison, Makoto, Dudley and Ibuki get this treatment.

Yeah that would be so cool, the McFarlane Toys mk line is just too big, and the quality isn't always the best. The storm collectables mk line is just amazing, but they're too expensive, even tho I've got a few of them. Ive just bought the Chun Li and ryu from Jada toys, and now I'm addicted to them, and i don't even like street fighter as much as I do mk.
All of these figures are incredible. Especially for the price.

Bison's size here is fine. It's based off of SFII where he was only a bit taller than average. In the Alpha games and forward, Capcom started scaling him up, both in height and in musculature.
We can only hope Jada is doing great financially and the megaman & SF line are signs of future things to come. I love some of my SHF & MAFEX but they're usually too expensive for what they are. I feel like NECA & Jada are the main companies that usually mantain a level of quality and give you what you paid for.
I just realized how bad I want Jada to pick up the big 3 in anime. Like this is INSANE quality, I think surpassing SHF figures. You can’t tell me Jada wouldn’t absolutely KILL Goku and Vegeta. I was looking at Dhalsim for potential Luffy customs. So dang cool dude

I think as collectors, we can all agree that it is important we purchase from Jada. Not only are they high quality, highly articulated, and are visually amazing for the price they are charging us. I cant wait gor them to get other licenses.
I dont have any of the figures from this line yet, but everything points to them being easily on par with the Figuarts releases from a few years back, which i do own. Ridiculously impressive, especially price-wise
I was ditching school, constantly at the 7-Eleven playing this game.
On the packaging, I believe the art on the sides and character portraits on the back was made for the recent(ish) Nintendo Switch exclusive release of SF2.
Getting new, unique releases of SF2 in the current day is so funny. Excited for Super Duper Ultra SF2 in 2031

I believe Juhn had said during an interview at one point that he definitely wanted to do Darkstalkers figures at some point. Hope Darkstalkers is the next series they get to before Mortal Kombat 🙏🙏

Fun fact for non SF fans… the real M Bison in Japan is the boxer character who was named after Mike Tyson.. but Capcom was afraid it would cause legal issues here.. this M Bison is actually called Vega in Japan ..
Another fun fact--to avoid confusion in international events with both Eastern and Western competitors, players gave the three name-swapped characters new nicknames: Boxer, Dictator, and Claw.

You thinking of M. Bison as being bigger than this isn't really too out there or anything. It makes sense you'd remember him that way because throughout the series, they can tend to vary on how big they make him, and sometimes, yeah, he's significantly bigger than this.

My chun li's ankles are so loose, she can't get into most poses
You can fix that with a tiny drop of super glue drop tiny bit where the peg Meets the socket and twist the ankle all around to disperse the glue
The only one I have is Chun-Li which I happened to find at a Wal-mart. She's fire. You gotta get one Robo!

These little Jada muthas are right in the sweet spot of plastic bliss. Chun Li is really well done, but Ken is just Ryu in red with He-Man's head (so it's like he's slumming).

Street Fighter characters were always realistically listed in terms of heigh, Ryu 5'7" I think...weights were kind of wild in some of them. These seem to be fairly accurately scaled to 1/12. Glad i found your review because Dhalism totally sold me.
I love this line so far. I've been able to get all of them but dhalsim (haven't found him yet). one thing I woulda added would be a 3rd head sculpt for bison with his signature evil grin.
I have Ken on the way from winning an online trivia game, so I bought Ryu just to go along with him. I had no intentions of getting this line. But now I'm considering Chun Li, and maybe a Guile if/when he comes out. It's a rabbit hole I have to be very careful about. That speaks volumes about Jada's design and execution of this line!
I have thought that I might pick up Bison to serve as my commander of my COBRA Crimson Legion, with Tomax and Xamot as his lieutenants.
I'm disappointed that the player 2 figures dont have the additional effects. Chun li has a fireball effect, but the player two came with the same leg effect. BUT if you say she didnt have the fireball in Street fighter 2 then where is Dhalsims flames effect?
Kind of weird that they didn't include fire or flame effects for Dhalsim.

Dhalsim, figure of the year so far for me
I agree with the criticism that Jada is releasing their SF figures too slowly. They're awesome, but when there is a year between figures, people can lose interest. I passed on Ryu, Ken and Fei Long (yawn) but I'm definitely getting Dhalsim. Probably passing on -Vega- M.Bison. In future, I plan to get Guile, Blanka, -Balrog- Vega, Cammy, C.Viper. Maybe some others. They are affordable, but I definitely don't need them all.
I've always enjoyed fighting games, but more as an observer than a player. They take *a lot* of time to master all the controls. I love the character designs of SF, but the combat is not my cup of tea.
My favourite fighting series is Soul Calibur.. sword fighting instead of 'martial arts with magical fireballs'.
While I haven't picked anything up by them it is very impressive what Jada has been doing with their actions figures. Aside from Joe classified this is probably one of the best bangs for your buck out there and they are very well done. Never really been into the street figure games and more of a 4 inch figure collector myself I will admit I am always jealous when I see these figures 😂

I wish I could share a pic here; I used Dhalsim's stand to utilize a hovering legs crossed pose.
Put his arms in a "praying" pose, legs crossed Indian style (get it? Wocka wocka! 😅), feed the stand up between his legs & clip it on one of his wrists.
It's a nice, lower "hover."

Dhalsim is considered a lower tier character, but the figure is top tier! The muscle definition, striations pop much more than the other jada figs, 👌

Great now I'm regretting not snagging Chun lee today, still shocked my walmart even has this let alone wave 2. This is a store that is typically 6-12 months behind. Really, really hoping to see whatever company Jada has working on these get lisences for other figs. At the price, the detail and the accessories? sorry but mcfarlane toys got knocked back a peg when its quality and price.

These two are the best $25 figs I’ve ever seen. Ryu, Ken, Fei Long and Chun Li are all amazing but Bison’s size, wired cape with articulated/swappable shoulder pads and Dhalsim having 4 separate bendy limbs and metal earrings puts these above the rest of the line. That Dhalsim puts any Mr. Fantastic that Hasbro has ever released to shame. Jada is killing it.
