  • Creed III is the third movie in the Creed franchise, but the 28th movie in the Rocky franchise. It's pretty good. It's got sins, though.
    Thursday: adventure sins.
    Remember, no movie is without sin. Which movie's sins should we count next?

It would've happened when Adonis was going out to his car and Dame was leaning on it or when maybe when Adonis confronted Dame at the beach. Sadly that is more realistic and happens all the time. • @Blodyqueef
    @Blodyqueef Год назад +63

    So, in regards to the “horizontal block”, I never came across it until I transitioned from sanda (Chinese kickboxing) to more of a Dutch style of kickboxing. It’s awkward at first, and I’m still not great at it, but it offers some great clinching’ possibilities in the ring; which makes sense given Damien’s style of boxing. Here’s a better guide to the forearm block.
    The double forearm block is a valuable defensive technique that takes a lot of power off straights, hooks, uppercuts, and elbows. There’s not much to it; you simply bring both arms to your face horizontally. Some fighters like to transition into it from the long guard.
    The double forearm block also serves as an entry point for clinch positions. It keeps you moderately protected while you close the distance on your opponent. The double forearm block can also be used to protect your body against punches and kicks. Just keep in mind that bringing both arms to your body leaves your head extremely vulnerable. A savvy opponent might feint just to get you to drop both hands towards your body before firing a powerful shot to your head.

Due to this, whatever athletic commission sanctioned the fight is now following the rules of boxing’s governing bodies and imposing a “medical suspension” of 30, 45 or even 60 days. This is extremely common these days and is an attempt to minimize the risk of serious brain injuries to fighters. Just saying.

    What they should have done was have Dame knock out Felix while they were sparring (while fighting dirty of course), which had never been done before. Afterwards we find out someone secretly record it and sent it to Dame. When Adonis tells Dame hes not ready for a championship fight he then goes then goes to rival promoter of Adonis and shows him the video of him knocking out Felix. They then use that to negotiate a real fight which makes Adonis mad and further seprerates the two old friends

    Yes, headgear--and gloves especially--increase the likelihood of concussions. Mainly because with all that "padding" the head can be targeted constantly and can be hit at full force. And the padding itself just doesn't soften blows enough to matter (it can protect from bleeding, eye damage, jaw dislocations, and some nose impact though). In bareknuckle boxing jaw shots happen, but there's a lot less full force delicate hand bones on toothed bowling ball action and a lot more body shots.

    One of the things that movie does so well with was how they really hit the emotional beats of Creed and his mom. Barbie was a movie that did a good job with the notion of motherhood but here in Creed III I thought they really sold how much she cared for his well being even if hiding the letters from him was not the right move in. When in the theater when she died that broke my heart and I cried... always tell your mom how much you love her. They love you more than anything even at times in life where not everything is seen as being right be either of you.🙏

At the end of the video, you would play the mid-credit scene when one of the Kang's says: "They're beginning to touch the Multiverse... And if we let them, they will take everything we built." because Dame lost to a variant of Killmonger. Also, I'm disappointed you mentioned Thanos over Kang during that one scene.
