@Big City Crime TV I'm from Paterson new jersey my whole life and heard this story a few times but the way you put it out there never heard like this great job my brother that's the forth ward very hot over there but to do what was done to them both was a disgrace the police are terrible here my child hood best friend was in Trenton state prison for 24 years for a murder. He did not commit you can look it up the video store murders on Union Avenue. He and his friend both 24 years. No evidence of anything they were beaten into. A confession. There's a 48 million dollar lawsuit you can look it up Ralph Lee. And Eric I forgot his last name but they both did 24 years for something that they did not do. These police. Are big beaten the minority you did a great job? My brother I subscribed to your site it's nice...the bar and grill on Lafayette st is still there

No it doesn’t it tells Carters version . Look up the evidence he was guilty .

The main thing that makes me skeptical that Carter is innocent is that Bob Dylan himself changed his mind about it a few years after the song was recorded. He got the story from the other side, mainly the people mentioned in the song and realized it was more complicated than what he presented in the song. The last time he performed it was in 1976.

Not the real story but rather a Hollywood version. Carter was guilty

Rubin Carter was a violent convicted felon. He beat women too, somehow that’s not mentioned. He was also a finished fighter by the time of these murders, he was no where near a shot at the middleweight title. The movie was pure fiction

@@truesenate6703 He was convicted twice of triple murder . He was never found “not guilty”, he was released on a technicality. He was also sued by middleweight champion Joey Giardello for slander. Rubin took a beating from Giardello but the movie made it look like Rubin was robbed. Again the movie was pure fiction.

@@wakeup8922 Rubin Carter did not get beaten by Giardello, Giardello walked away more bruised up than Rubin Carter. And Ron Lipton, a man who’s been in the ring with Rubin, would say Rubin may have even won that bout. You know absolutely nothing about boxing. At all. Don’t talk.

Rubin HURRICANE Carter was a Great fighter, he fought and defeated vets like Holly Mims, Gomeo Brennan and George Benton. He KO’d Emile Griffith & Florentino Fernandez, and is very underrated and underappreciated. I suggest you stop talking about things you know nothing about.
