The Steelers NEEDED a dominating win after last weeks incredibly controversial bail out by Tony Corrente. Instead they played down to the worst team in the league and simultaneously became the worst team to be at 5-3. Is Days of Our Steelers officially back on track?

TBF, ben was out, watt got hurt, haden was out, claypool was out, witherspoon was out, and BJ Finney was out, so it was not that surprising that we didn't play that well. Plus it was raining.

Pick most teams in the NFL this season, they've played games that have gone any one of or all three of these ways:
1. They won against an opponent by at least one touchdown
2. They lost against an opponent by at least one touchdown
3. They either squeaked out a win or inexplicably lost to an opponent they were expected to win against easily
The Bengals have checked all boxes, and they aren't the only ones.

Looking it up Lions and Columbus Tigers/Panhandles are two winless seasons. The actual record for losing winless seasons goes to Dayton Triangles/Brooklyn Dodgers/Tigers. Who went that in 1925, 1928, 1929, 1944. Their final win was in 1927; they then consecutively went 0-18-1, losing every game in their final two seasons. Before being relocated to Brooklyn. Who folded after 44.

Growing up in NW Ohio in the 50s and 60s as an avid Lions fan, I still weep for them. The ONLY franchise from the days of the AFL/NFL merger that has still never made it to the Super Bowl. Can't even recall if they ever made it to the NFC championship game... if so, must have been in the late 60s... Pitiful.
Lost NFC championship game 5-0 against Dallas around 1970. Last league championship was 1957, 64 years ago. When I was about 10 months old. It's not going to be too long before there will be no one left alive to have seen the last Lions Championship.

Ever since Ford bought the Lions in 1963 for 4.5 million.. Nothing but disappointment. They have won just 1 playoff game since then. After His first season of ownership He fired the whole coaching staff except the HC. He resigned stating. This man does not know football. Oh how right He was.
As a Steelers fan, this game was painful.
The announcer said, does anyone want to win this game, that was too funny and true. That Detroit kicker looked like he didn't want to go into the game, it was written all over his face.
