I am a tall, attractive female, and the true definition of a INTROVERT. Since I’m very quiet and enjoying being alone, people call me stuck up, a bitch, weird and even try to start fights with me for LITERALLY NO REASON. I'm a magnet for angry people. Now I see that people are just intimidated by me. SMH.

When people, especially manipulative ones can't get to you, they brand you as proud, stubborn and calling names to challenge your value of peace and calmness. But be warned not all introverts have good values, some are dangerous.
I am a TRUE introvert! I love it, people always tell me " they can't read me" I always tell them stop trying because they will never truly understand me. I hate company. If you plan on stopping by, I better know well in advance because if you just show up, I will NOT answer my door. Just like the video stated, I just want to be left ALONE!
These things are very true and here’s the thing, people aren’t going to openly admit they’re intimidated by you; but, they will operate on the defense as if your personality is an attack on them! I always say this “if you find me intimidating, you’re probably well within your right to do that, if you are in fact not in the right regarding your actions.” What’s intimidating to you likely requires some "honest" assessment by you! Introverts, never compromise who you are to fit others’ mold; at the same token, always be willing to learn from others even if you disagree with them. 🙏🙏🙏

I’ve heard my whole entire life that I seem intimidating and I took it as an insult because I just would mind my business and stay to myself. I feel like the projection and insecurity jumps out the moment an introvert walks in because they’re thinking that we could possibly not like them based on the simple fact of not talking to anyone, when in fact we are really just daydreaming about being home alone lmao.
Because people(especially predators) look at 'shy' people as targets that they can push around and take advantage of. Show the real you and watch them get bothered! 😂

Most people around me feel insecure around me because I hardly socialize and very observant. Most of the time I can easily tell what someone really want to say or do before it becomes a reality just by observing them, this makes most people around me feel insecure. One thing, I don't please others, try to fix in or follow the crowd and I love being myself.. everything you said is true.. anyways I like it when people fee intimidated by me it gives me power

Now I get it why I prefer to be a janitor than working in an office despite of being able to solve complicated matters, too intimidating of being rational when I am talking to someone. I thought I'm just shy and not that confident. all this time I'm just an introvert and no one ever bother to talk about it. They found me weird and I believed them 😢. that explains why there's a part of me keep on saying "I could do better than this, I'm more than that I imagined."
Ive been called an emotional less asshole by several people in the workfoce and private life. All because these people could not read me or tell what mood i was in and that intimidates alot of people exspecially when us introverrs can use our superpower and read them in minutes and know damn near to the most delicate detail their mood, who they truly are, type peraon they are hiding under the fake smile, and what their real intintions are. My boss hates not being able to read me he said im the only one he read my moods or anything. But i can read him like a book in the few minutes it takes to get next job assignment. And i love that supeepower and being me the introvert. I recently spent 3 weeks just being by myself with phone off and found out had a bunch of people searching for me for a week. Funny thing is i was home the entire time out in my garage working on my projects. Real hard to find a introvert like me i guess.
Now I know why my ex-boss kept shouting at me all the time. I got sick of his intimidation and kept silent which made him lose his temper. I had done nothing wrong, execept be silent.
I find that most of these details describe me very well, but the overall idea of being intimidating does not apply to me. I'm perceived as being gentle and unassuming... until somebody pushes the "wrong button."
I really resonated with every part of this video content. I thought my intimidation was based on other things. For my unique introverted self, I look younger than my age, with both book and life smarts. I dress to impress (for myself), but I don't need my ego stroked. Being ang introverted person like is something that I could be proud off. Got my experience is not I don’t want to let it out what my thoughts when I’m angry not sad. We are not talking about our self here when we are in a foul mood. We need to keep it our self because we don’t know how will be the impact to others and to our surroundings if we let loose ourselves.most of the time not a lot of people can understand an introvert person. As an introvert like me,I can only deliver my thoughts to someone if I know that person is an open minded on. Being an introvert person,I need someone that can understand me or more on a listener and not a judgemental one. But well when it comes to judging a person an introvert is a top notch on it. I can relate, totally. And It's not easy accomodating others when they question why you tend to keep to yourself or why you don't necessarily respond or add to the conversation. You can't make everyone happy ..
Today l learned that l have a strong personality combined with being a introvert. The introvert part l knew already, the strong personality, is something l have always know intrinsically and said to a few people along the way. I could feel and see the body language in other people when my strong personality comes out, they don't know how to react, what to say, they just get intimmidated, defensive and try to shut me down. These 2 videos are me in a nutshell, l would say about 90% or more of these traits l have and have seen the affects of my personality on others and myself. Have heard the words in regards to my personality as abrasive and abrupt. My thoughts are, people are pathetically weak minded, they must be liked at all costs, don't want to hear the truth and want the easy way out by talking you in a circle or throwing someone/thing under the bus. No one ever cared about my feelings when they spoke to me openly and honestly, why should l care about theirs? It's a respect thing, get to give, give to get. You don't grow as a human being by living in a echo chamber of the same ideas, thoughts and feelings. Open your mind, open your heart, think critically, ask why because one of these days you're going to find out everything you've ever know, been taught is a lie. All of it. His story (history) he who controls his story controls the present and future. Wakey wakey!
2:47 "What makes it difficult to express your feelings sometimes?" I would say it's difficult, quite difficult especially when I'm emotional. It feels like voice are chocking inside my throat, eyes tearing up, etc. But I don't like to show my vulnerable side to anyone and would control all those emotions by not talking. Take a breather and have inner monologue for an hour or two and bingo, I'm back to normal (Almost). At least I will be then able to look at from logical point of view.
This is so very true, so true. I am accuses of being an introvert - don't care less what people think about me I have my own thoughts on things and things out things for myself. Seldom quarrel with people, I just ignore them.
Introversion and shyness are different from each other. James Bond is an introvert, is he shy? Also a lot of people think being introverted and quiet is a negative thing snd that being extroverted and loud is a positive thing. Loud is not always strong and quiet is not always weak. As an introvert it has annoyed me in the past when typical extroverts have tried to overpower me in conversations and try telling me what I should think etc. They should mind their own business.

I am an extravert and this is my experiences of introverts. Introverts do not make good friends. Although they can be good company when with them, introverts can drop people from their lives within an instant, no matter how long they have known them. Introverts always believe their opinions are right and narrow minded. Introverts rarely compromise, it`s either their way or not at all. They can ghost people and be intimidating.
You can’t come up with that kind of conclusion just through experience with bad introverts. As an introvert, growing up extroverts loved to take advantage of me, because I was quiet. I know you’d want to tell me that you’re an extrovert and you’re not like that. But you see the point? Not all introverts are like that, cause I know for sure I’m not like what you’re saying. And you might say you’re not like how I’m saying, because you know in yourself you’re not like that.

Most extroverts from my experience make a lot of underhanded crazy comments, and every fiber in my being in my body...just controlling myself not to say something really blunt 😂
THIS WAS A VERY ACCURATE ASSESSMENT. I WALK INTO A NEW JOB AND SAY NOTHING, AND I IMMEDIATELY HAVE "ENEMIES". ITS SO CONFUSING, IM QUIET AND POLITE. I JUST WATCH AND LISTEN, YET IM CONSTANTLY ANTAGONIZED.
So true I know when weaker men try to put me on the spot because I'm quite I just look at them and they tend to shut up but when they don't thats when I use to have fun I've gotten older so I don't fight as much as I use to but I've gotten so much better with words so it's fun to see the confusion when I insult them without a curse words and I just watch them try to understand what I say to them
I've been told I intimidate others...I believe right is right..wrong is wrong and there's no wiggle room in between....I believe my personality intimidates because I sense when I'm being lied to.. and can't BE intimidated..I read body language and intent in others and have incite into ulterior motives..I've been told I see their soul..I have always had a double dose of common sense and can see outcome of bad choices....I know myself well and trust my instincts....I can immediately tell if a person is untrustworthy..and despise lies and unnecessary senseless babble...its a waste of time and energy

Yes I always dealing with people who play mind game. But I just obverving people from afar. I can feel vibe from people. But when im open up what they really want. They scared to approach me. But I don't do anything or crossing their boundaries. It's annoyed me. Then when they try to make me chase them. I just shut it out. Because I'm wasting my time, to give them a chance to open up instead of beating around the bushes
As an introvert, I can say that if an extrovert is willing to relax and associate with me without an agenda, I am willing to consider them to be a trusted acquaintance and potential friend. Just relax and not do unbecoming things. It is all I ask. Nothing more.
When im mad & giving the silent treatment, its because i don't want to say anything while im hurt or angry bc once its said you cant unsay it. Just leave me alone & let me tell you off in my head & process what im feeling at that moment internally & when I've unpacked it enough to not say something I'll regret, I'll start talking (some, im still an introvert). The silent treatment is considered to be passive aggressive & manipulative & im sure that's the xase for some people but some of us are trying to keep our mouths shut till we are in a better state of mind bc we don't want to say something we'll regret & so will you.

Have never understood how I'm intimidating just because I 'm quiet and reserve judgement but seems to have been the case since I was in J High. If I 'm not of common interests or passionate about something I am usually reserved. What is possibly intimidating about that? I believe if you're not hurting anyone or anything and not destroying or stealing do whatever you want. I don't care. Just take people as they are and relax.

Intimidating, I don't know. Maybe that's why some people tend to avoid me? But do I care if they avoid me? No. It's their loss really! On the other hand, I've been tagged as mysterious numerous times; like even if I open up, it's hard for people to pinpoint exactly who I am.
Is it possible to become an introvert because of upbringing? Being told anything you say doesn't count. Being told to shut up by older siblings. As an adult, being talked over when you are speaking or having people turning away from you when someone else is saying something. No wonder some people become introverts.
What makes me not want to share my feelings is the stress of what the people will say that I am sharing my feelings with . My family makes me regret sharing personal information with them . My grandmother and my mother especially . Then ill tell them that it stresses me out and they still do not stop . And that is why women live longer than men . We die from the stress of women .
My manager told me my team said I was unapproachable so I laughed and said..."well could you tell them to please quit approaching me then because they keep showing at my door every...single...day. Lol

Most people around me feel insecure around me because I hardly socialize and very observant. Most of the time I can easily tell what someone really want to say or do before it becomes a reality just by observing them, this makes most people around me feel insecure. One thing, I don't please others, try to fix in or follow the crowd and I love being myself.. everything you said is true.. anyways I like it when people fee intimidated by me it gives me power

Now I get it why I prefer to be a janitor than working in an office despite of being able to solve complicated matters, too intimidating of being rational when I am talking to someone. I thought I'm just shy and not that confident.
all this time I'm just an introvert and no one ever bother to talk about it. They found me weird and I believed them 😢.

Ive been called an emotional less asshole by several people in the workfoce and private life. All because these people could not read me or tell what mood i was in and that intimidates alot of people exspecially when us introverrs can use our superpower and read them in minutes and know damn near to the most delicate detail their mood, who they truly are, type peraon they are hiding under the fake smile, and what their real intintions are. My boss hates not being able to read me he said im the only one he read my moods or anything. But i can read him like a book in the few minutes it takes to get next job assignment. And i love that supeepower and being me the introvert. I recently spent 3 weeks just being by myself with phone off and found out had a bunch of people searching for me for a week. Funny thing is i was home the entire time out in my garage working on my projects. Real hard to find a introvert like me i guess.

Now I know why my ex-boss kept shouting at me all the time. I got sick of his intimidation and kept silent which made him lose his temper. I had done nothing wrong, execept be silent.
I can relate to this very well. My ex-boss was the same way. A piece of SH*T.
I find that most of these details describe me very well, but the overall idea of being intimidating does not apply to me. I'm perceived as being gentle and unassuming... until somebody pushes the "wrong button."

I really resonated with every part of this video content. I thought my intimidation was based on other things. For my unique introverted self, I look younger than my age, with both book and life smarts. I dress to impress (for myself), but I don't need my ego stroked. My own sense of self-worth combined with all the rest would make me pretty intimidating. HOT DAM 😆

@@JAK-cx1de whenever I am out with my best friend, I am really loud and you could see me as being an extrovert, but I am like tht only with him. When someone else comes into the picture, I can count the words I say on one hand. That last part resonated the most with me

Though I love to sit with a group, I'm more confortable in lonliness.

I can relate, totally. And It's not easy accomodating others when they question why you tend to keep to yourself or why you don't necessarily respond or add to the conversation. You can't make everyone happy ..

Today l learned that l have a strong personality combined with being a introvert. The introvert part l knew already, the strong personality, is something l have always know intrinsically and said to a few people along the way. I could feel and see the body language in other people when my strong personality comes out, they don't know how to react, what to say, they just get intimmidated, defensive and try to shut me down. These 2 videos are me in a nutshell, l would say about 90% or more of these traits l have and have seen the affects of my personality on others and myself. Have heard the words in regards to my personality as abrasive and abrupt. My thoughts are, people are pathetically weak minded, they must be liked at all costs, don't want to hear the truth and want the easy way out by talking you in a circle or throwing someone/thing under the bus. No one ever cared about my feelings when they spoke to me openly and honestly, why should l care about theirs? It's a respect thing, get to give, give to get. You don't grow as a human being by living in a echo chamber of the same ideas, thoughts and feelings. Open your mind, open your heart, think critically, ask why because one of these days you're going to find out everything you've ever know, been taught is a lie. All of it. His story (history) he who controls his story controls the present and future. Wakey wakey!

I would say it's difficult, quite difficult especially when I'm emotional. It feels like voice are chocking inside my throat, eyes tearing up, etc. But I don't like to show my vulnerable side to anyone and would control all those emotions by not talking. Take a breather and have inner monologue for an hour or two and bingo, I'm back to normal (Almost). At least I will be then able to look at from logical point of view.

Also a lot of people think being introverted and quiet is a negative thing snd that being extroverted and loud is a positive thing. Loud is not always strong and quiet is not always weak. As an introvert it has annoyed me in the past when typical extroverts have tried to overpower me in conversations and try telling me what I should think etc. They should mind their own business.

Introverts do not make good friends. Although they can be good company when with them, introverts can drop people from their lives within an instant, no matter how long they have known them.
Introverts always believe their opinions are right and narrow minded.
Introverts rarely compromise, it`s either their way or not at all.
They can ghost people and be intimidating.
You can’t come up with that kind of conclusion just through experience with bad introverts.
As an introvert, growing up extroverts loved to take advantage of me, because I was quiet. I know you’d want to tell me that you’re an extrovert and you’re not like that.
But you see the point? Not all introverts are like that, cause I know for sure I’m not like what you’re saying. And you might say you’re not like how I’m saying, because you know in yourself you’re not like that.

THIS WAS A VERY ACCURATE ASSESSMENT. I WALK INTO A NEW JOB AND SAY NOTHING, AND I IMMEDIATELY HAVE "ENEMIES". ITS SO CONFUSING, IM QUIET AND POLITE. I JUST WATCH AND LISTEN, YET IM CONSTANTLY ANTAGONIZED.
So true I know when weaker men try to put me on the spot because I'm quite I just look at them and they tend to shut up but when they don't thats when I use to have fun I've gotten older so I don't fight as much as I use to but I've gotten so much better with words so it's fun to see the confusion when I insult them without a curse words and I just watch them try to understand what I say to them

I've been told I intimidate others...I believe right is right..wrong is wrong and there's no wiggle room in between....I believe my personality intimidates because I sense when I'm being lied to.. and can't BE intimidated..I read body language and intent in others and have incite into ulterior motives..I've been told I see their soul..I have always had a double dose of common sense and can see outcome of bad choices....I know myself well and trust my instincts....I can immediately tell if a person is untrustworthy..and despise lies and unnecessary senseless babble...its a waste of time and energy

Yes I always dealing with people who play mind game. But I just obverving people from afar. I can feel vibe from people. But when im open up what they really want. They scared to approach me. But I don't do anything or crossing their boundaries. It's annoyed me. Then when they try to make me chase them. I just shut it out. Because I'm wasting my time, to give them a chance to open up instead of beating around the bushes
its hard to express felings when your words are so intricate and deep people could get really hurt by your words or find hope in your words
As an introvert, I can say that if an extrovert is willing to relax and associate with me without an agenda, I am willing to consider them to be a trusted acquaintance and potential friend.

When im mad & giving the silent treatment, its because i don't want to say anything while im hurt or angry bc once its said you cant unsay it. Just leave me alone & let me tell you off in my head & process what im feeling at that moment internally & when I've unpacked it enough to not say something I'll regret, I'll start talking (some, im still an introvert). The silent treatment is considered to be passive aggressive & manipulative & im sure that's the xase for some people but some of us are trying to keep our mouths shut till we are in a better state of mind bc we don't want to say something we'll regret & so will you.
I literally hate when people are like: "Oh so you're the quiet one" yeah because I don't just walk up to people saying "oh so you're the quiet one". Double standard, I choose to speak in enviroments im comfortable in, people I know well, situations I've been in. Its so shallow to ask that honestly

Have never understood how I'm intimidating just because I 'm quiet and reserve judgement but seems to have been the case since I was in J High. If I 'm not of common interests or passionate about something I am usually reserved. What is possibly intimidating about that? I believe if you're not hurting anyone or anything and not destroying or stealing do whatever you want. I don't care. Just take people as they are and relax.

Intimidating, I don't know. Maybe that's why some people tend to avoid me? But do I care if they avoid me? No. It's their loss really! On the other hand, I've been tagged as mysterious numerous times; like even if I open up, it's hard for people to pinpoint exactly who I am.

Is it possible to become an introvert because of upbringing? Being told anything you say doesn't count. Being told to shut up by older siblings. As an adult, being talked over when you are speaking or having people turning away from you when someone else is saying something. No wonder some people become introverts.
What makes me not want to share my feelings is the stress of what the people will say that I am sharing my feelings with . My family makes me regret sharing personal information with them . My grandmother and my mother especially . Then ill tell them that it stresses me out and they still do not stop . And that is why women live longer than men . We die from the stress of women .
