I agree that 1 Tablespoon of cinnamon would be good, but I could also see 1.5 Tablespoons being good if you love cinnamon. Thanks for pointing out that it is best to add the powdered sugar a bit at a time. Wow, those look great. I don't think I would need to worry about microwaving them since I wouldn't have leftovers, haha. Thanks for sharing!
I just bought a cinnamon coffee cake that was beautiful to look at but eating it turned into a wad of dough in my mouth. I found this flakey dessert and will try it. My childhood memory of a pecan cinnamon coffee cake has a dough full of air holes. What is the recipe for that dough?
Thanks! I made them but I think I put too much brown sugar sauce in it and it all leaked out and caramelised and stuck them all together! Also it took ages in the oven to crisp up but they were still nice and the glaze is delicious!!

I wouldn’t do more than a day in advance and if you do, stick them in the fridge :)

Using dental floss to cut them will do a much neater job and you’ll have less work reshaping them. Can’t wait to try them!!

@@SarasBites Yep. Just make light marks on the top then slide underneath and criss cross over the top and you’ll get the perfect slice every time!!
Putting frosting into a ziplock baggie and snipping the corner is a much less messy application. 😊

Chill the roll before cutting. Then you keep your round shape. I brushed my roll with egg wash before chilling in fridge.
