My Nana did not bake too often, she was the type of person that could knit, sew, you know those crafty things. Luckily as a little boy, I got to know her sister, my Great Aunt I guess she would have been. Now she was the baker but her Kanelbullar had more cardamom than cinnamon. Some Swedes preferred cardamom to cinnamon, either due to tastes or just availability and cost. Thanks for bringing back some very fond memories with this recipe. I have forgotten how much my Great Aunties on both sides of my family loved us all so much.

So I decided to search youtube for something that might help. Your lovely video did just that! I was able to use your recipe, instructions and images to create my own beautiful buns. They turned out great: tasty and pretty, too. I even made them again a few days ago with the same perfect results. Cardamon is something I have never tried before. I had to google it to see how to use green Cardamon pods. (had no cardamon powder.) It's kind of weird I don't know if I like the taste of these or not. Maybe it is an acquired taste. The dough was so easy to work with and I love the look of these buns. So Beautiful! Mine didn't come out as nice and round-looking as Bincy's was but I still loved the look of them. I'm so confused right now. Still don't know if I like the taste, but I have already eaten 2 and want another Oo
