In this Longplay/Walkthrough video, i'm playing and showing a thorough and detailed guide about how to complete the Sega Genesis version of Streets of Rage [USA] by playing as Blaze Fielding from the beginning to the very end on the Hardest difficulty setting.

I just came for the music but stayed for the gameplay. Awesome, dude! My favorite part is at 30:00 XD Even beyond that, you are a master of rhythm.

I actually like SOR 1 the best, although I miss the ability to run and special moves from 2 and 3. I also like the outfit Blaze wears in SOR 1 the best.
yep blaze in SOR1 looks best intimidating and yet stunning
can get that streets of rage remake have all the characters sor1 sor2 sor3 run and special moves run is better than sor3 it's the same as walking different directions instead just run straight can change name to bare knuckle remake it have both names
The funniest part has to be when the ninja jumped off the lift himself in round 7, it's also really impressive making it through on hardest without taking a single point of damage, plus it might have been more interesting if you'd said yes 7 gone trough rounds 6-8 again
Awesome game and soundtrack. Amazing how SoR2 was able to build on this for a near-perfect game.

This game is really satisfying I've been binging it nonstop this week and I think the biggest takeaway is that the torch juggling enemies creep me out

Only played 2 and 3, this Beat' em up franchise is really good, I also like Data East's Two Crude Dudes for SEGA Genesis.

1 > 2 > 3 to me. Too many special effects and moves got added that cluttered them up.
@@glr I like 3 cause of the moves they added in fact i think remake is fun cause it has the 1 and 2 levels with the 3 gameplay but i get you guys.
Even with the new moves the 3rd S.O.R is the hardest by far.
As the Release of SoR4, it is now the Hardest by far, (if playing on mania difficulty) you can also choose the Character of the Actual version of a SoR Game. Futhermore, Super Attacks make their Return.

Bare knuckle mobile blaze or bare knuckle 2 blaze is the best design in streets of rage remake she's skinny like the first streets of rage 1 she's taller than streets of rage 1 blaze streets of rage 1 the character size looks like Sega master system streets of rage

I'm playing this while I'm about to go to sleep it comforts me LOL don't catch me this is one of my best childhood games one of the only games we really had was this one and Sonic part 1 and only when we had this is like our cousins or something like that will come over we would tell them to bring their games. Listening to this is very therapeutic nostalgia for me. Level three I love the music I love the music from all the levels especially level 7 when you're on the elevator that has to be the best song. And the song that plays when you beat the big boss at the end 2 this whole soundtrack Pop I wouldn't even mind driving to this shit. I always play with blaze or Brian never Axel I couldn't stand him. I never back in the day they had something called team play where sold an extra piece that can fit 4 controller so all the players can play me and my cousins did that one time that shit was so fun! I was the first person to pass level 5 in beat the twins I was the first person to pass level six and the first person to pass the whole game out of all of my cousins and I'm a girl lol. The key to beating the twins on level five is to keep jump kicking same 4 at the last level when you meet the twins again they're a lot more harder than level 5 you just have to keep jump kicking in don't try to fight them head up if you can catch some of them jump kicking you as soon as they come down on the ground you can slam them and flip them. Couldn't stand those bitches with the whips the red hookers were easier to beat up and kill but the black ones in the silver ones at the end I couldn't stand them hoes. or that little motherfuking it be sliding every damn where every time you trying to beat somebody up or the guy with the knife that's crossed over at runs really fast pass you to cut you I hated the motherfukas. I remember making it all the way to the end and when the big boss ask you if you want to be his right-hand man you supposed to say no I remember saying yes and he put me right back into level 6. when I made it back the computer changed it as if I said no when I didn't answer yet and I still have to fight the big boss. But I do know for this game they do have a bad ending so I thought that if I made it to the end after he put me through level 6 again that it would be a bad ending but it didn't work out that way does anybody else have a video where it shows the bad ending.

Love your skill but I must ask seeing as I presume your more or less intimate familiarity with this game compared to myself (so my presumption is your opinion is generally credible or earnest) is the final boss lame or is that just my ignorance of plot and narrative and general green-ness in regards to this game let alone series or do others kinda think something closer to my perspective?

No, i don't think that Mr. X as a final boss is lame. He is a very enigmatic crime lord, and little is known about his personality. It seems that he does respect the strength of others, as he compliments the heroes when they make it to his hideout and offers them a chance to join his syndicate.
In my honest opinion, he is quite strong, fast, persistent, unpredictable, powerful and challenging. Whenever I play Streets of Rage, I have to be very focused and concentrated when fighting Mr. X.

No, unfortunately there is no secret or special buttons/commands for Blaze Fielding to jump and move like her evil triplets (named Onihime and Yasha).

In order to perform the "Rear Attack" with any of the playable characters, you have to press the attack and jump button at the same time.

Yes, that is so true. It sure takes a lot of time (countless hours, days, weeks, months or even years) to practice and study the whole video game before I start to make a Walkthrough/Longplay video. I also have to be very patient. Countless runs are getting ruined while I am making my No Damage run Longplays.

Golden Axe (Sega Genesis) is already included on my "Longplays to do" list but it will take some time because I'm doing a lot of Longplays of different video games at the moment and many of them are work in progress.
I'm currently busy with Metal Gear Solid (Sony PlayStation). When it's done, I will be busy with Devil May Cry (Sony PlayStation 2), Viewtiful Joe (Sony PlayStation 2), Silent Hill (Sony PlayStation), Resident Evil 4 (Nintendo GameCube), Dino Crisis 2 (Sony PlayStation), ObScure (Sony PlayStation 2) and Virtua Cop (Sega Saturn).
When it's all done, I will create a Poll again about "Which Longplay shall I do next?" and add more different video games (which were requested by my Subscribers) back into that Poll. I will let the voting and decision to my Subscribers again. 😊👍🏻

If you choose and answer Mr. X's question as "YES", Mr. X will say: "YOU SHOW A LOT OF POTENTIAL. HERE'S YOUR REWARD!" and afterwards he will press the Trapdoor button with his foot to activate the Trapdoor in which you will fall down and be sent back to Round 6.
If that happens, you have to fight all the enemies which you have previously beaten all over again through Round 6, 7 and 8.

If you press B while far away from any enemies you'll throw the knife, which causes a lot of damage.

OK, Sega eventually outdid themselves with the sequel, but if you compare this to say Final Fight on the SNES (which came out very early in the SNES' life), it's a bit underwhelming technically, even though it has a two player mode and more enemies on screen. The sprites are just so small. Turtles in Time on SNES also laughs at this similarly, almost looking like it came from a generation ahead by comparison. And, I'm not saying Streets of Rage is not a great game--it's actually a great beat 'em up--but just considering that this was competing with beat 'em ups like Final Fight and Turtles in Time. Well, it's wasn't exactly the best way for Sega to show off how special the Genesis was compared to the competition. Of course, Streets of Rage 2 changed all of that.

Well, believe it or not. I absolutely didn't use any cheats, save states, hacks or tools while making this Longplay / Walkthrough video.
If you get thrown (53:23 for example) press and hold "Up + C" in air to safely land on your feet and take no damage. A lot of Players know this "Landing Trick".

When blaze throws someone she can't take damage
when ANY of the chars are in the throw animation, they have no hit box.
