Bresh was quite a character. I met him several years ago at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society convention in Nashville. What an entertainer! I also spent some time with him at a friend's house. He showed us many pictures on his iPad from his youth when he spent time on movie sets.. His step father Bud Bresh was a photographer on Hollywood sets. Bud worked a lot at the Corriganville movie ranch. Bresh told me he was Johnny Crawford's stunt double on the TV show The Rifleman.
Yes, I got to see him a few times at CAAS and he was always one of the event's highlights for me. He could pick, talk and sing....a genuine triple threat entertainer.
The Breshman WAS... & IS AMAZING!! Wish I could've met 'im, but so thankful y'all TrueFire peeps were able to make the "Breshman Chronicles" happen - one of my all-time favorites.
I love Thom’s playing and his talk. Very interesting person. I’ve been trying to play this kind of finger style for years and never really got good at it. I also play. Little lap steel. Not great, but I enjoy what I do. I’m 84 so I’d better hurry. LoL.
Jim Reed Redbridge Ontario. I saw Tom at Hugh's room in Toronto. Also chatted with him for a while outside while he had a smoke put on an amazing show and showed us his travel guitar like he said he would do unpacked it and played it without touching a tuning key
I first saw Thom at the Gamble Rogers Festival in St. Augustine around 20 years ago. I started spending all my time thumbpicking. Then I went to CAAS in Nashville the next year to see Thom and saw Tommy Emmanuel there. Changed my life. Those 2 guys have something that can't be taught.
I have video of Thom back when he and Lane were together ... we had lotsa fun. Always a treat to work with them.... I had a sound company that handled the account.
This format is really great as a learning experience as opposed to the usual truefire 100 second blurb format. Of course Mr Bresh is worth listening to all morning.
..i won t go into guitar playing...Thom Bresh is the real deal !...But those stories man ,i could hear those guitar stories for days and months.....What a treat !!!! thank you guys "!
In so interested in finger picking how intimudating. Feels like an unusual uncomfortable. Maybe one day I will stick with it. I love playing guitar I'd give up being the front man to be the sideman. Oh I played casino mount bleu years back in lake Tahoe. Nice to meet you guys. Former Legends in concert performer and Las Vegas entertainer and the first celebrity impersonator tribute artist professionaly in the industry to Tim McGraw. Did I mention you guys are whom keep guys like me married to my guitar! Peace Peter Phillips & his TIM MCGRAW TRIBUTE. Canada

What a wonderful interview with an amazing man. There will never be another like the Breshman. Rest in peace.
This is one of the best LIVES that TrueFire has done. Breshman is first class, both as a guitarist and gentleman!😉 What an entertainer‼
