I like his rear windows sticker 👍Being a marshal is brilliant, you enable the sport to continue and get the most awesome positions. Sometimes you get asked to marshal at big events . And you may save someone's life one day. . This Anglia is the mutts.
Right on the brink of motoring perfection. No fancy gizmos just a pure driving sensation. Pound for pound this old ford blows any modern supercar out of the ball park. Brilliant.
Wot can I say that hasn't already been said this little Anglia is just amazing and a true credit to all those involved in bolting it together I salute you
I love the sound of a V8 but growing up on 80's and 90's touring and rally cars, these Cosworths have a special sound I love too. This little Anglia is beautiful, the sound, the body and how agile it is, truly something to behold.
I owned a Ford Anglia in the 80s and to this day one of the best cars I have ever had. It looked stock standard but its secret weapon was a 1600 Ford GT motor under the bonnet. Used to get some crazy looks passing 6 cylinder cars going up the hills were I lived.
My mate had the mk2 Escort popular... in that police blue colour. Underneath it was the Mexico with extensive tweaks ...with very little to show on the outside... he enjoyed blowing the bigger cars into the weeds .. I can hear his webbers suckjnb now...
A wonderful idea well executed! Would love to have her in my garage! A little sleeper that would shock the hell out of my fellow road users ! The classic aspect (a 1965 Ford Anglia) clinches it.
I want it! Back in the early 70’s I built one with a Lotus Twin Cam engine which I used for road rallying. Surprised a few hot Escorts. Wish I still had it.
@@Peter-ff1tp wtf? I don't have a problem with the series and I really did see this in some older film as some kind of tricked out yellow taxi edit: but yeah the flying car was cooler though
A truly weird fact about the 105 was that whenever it rained, a fair amount of it missed the back window, dripped down straight onto the boot. Our family car in around 1975 and my old man was sad to have to sell it for a mustard gold MK2 Cortina which was a 5h1t heap by contrast. Ours was cream with a navy blue stripe but I loved that Anglia.....
This is like a miniature version of putting a big V8 into a passenger car. Though I might not be able to fit in it, this is sure a heck of a lot of fun to watch!
Nice to see the inside of the tail pipe a nice grey. Must be running a high octane leaded fuel. One of my favourite engines. Brings back the days of the mighty BDA escorts. Thanks for the clip.
Blimey that's absolutely fantastic.. My Boyfriend at the time had a Anglia.. He modified it with a Cortina Mk1 Lotus Twin cam engine and Gearbox.. It was Fab as well.. Nice Video BTW 💕💕💕💕💕
What I'd give to see the faces of the local racer boys here, when they were humiliated by a car as old as their grandfather! And, such a well turned out little Anglia that is. Here in the States, they chop them up for drag racers, but I like this machine so much better!
Great looking and sounding car. Nice to see the event is still going. I have a 1976 book called Seventy Years of the Shelsley Walsh. Also interesting to see the little panel van that ran HotRod Drag Week is there running too.
This car looks great now after being beefed up like that, I love to see not only old classic cars being restored and tuned but also 2 stroke scooters and the good old comercial sports cars from the 80's and 90's decade 🙂👌🏻...Long live to all the Ford Anglias that are still around.

I love the Anglia and this one is on point! Perfect color, bubble arches, and the right wheels + sound and stance = heaven!
The original Anglia had a 997cc, 39BHP motor, so this one is twice the capacity but has six times the power! Love it.

Love it ! FORD its in the blood !!!
Anglebox sounds Awsome
Great footage 😆😆😆😆😆
I would prefer this car any day over a supercar on a hillclimb. Nuff said!
You bet! The worst part would be to crash. They build new Lamborghinis every day. This little gem will be made no more!
one of the best sounding engines ever produced
What a beutiful little car, also great driving.
