I agree, it seems unpolished with that weird sunshade glitch and the engine sounds seem to have just been glossed over. Door not opening is not an issue for me but no change in sound with window open is very disappointing. I shall wait to see if there are some updates to this.

The incident at 7:10 may have been caused by the sim pause being on. I noticed the same behavior on the ground in the C172S because it wasn't moving when I advanced the throttle. I then toggled my sim pause button and it leapt across the tarmac and collided with a hanger 😂
Nice review, I noticed when you move the trim wheel, there were vertices from the seat belt that got also added in the animation so the seat belt warps into a bizarre shape. The plane flies better if you adjust the joystick curves making it almost sluggish. I do enjoy this plane, spent like good 3 hours in it. some adjustments are needed like you pointed out but it could be a great alternative low wing GA if anybody is getting bored of Pipers.

I fly a real world S205R (G-AVEH) and I must say, I have a few issues with this FS2020 model. It would be interesting to see the real aircraft that this was modelled on. The main issue I have is that I can't seem to fly this model by the numbers as the real thing. The prop lever (overlooking the fact that it's on the wrong side of the mixture lever) does almost nothing. I fly the real thing at 24/2400 or even 25/2400, but this thing doesn't seem to want to come down to 2400 RPM at 25" man. Glide performance seems OK ish (the real aircraft sinks like a brick when you pull the power). Overall, it's ok-ish, feels a bit lighter than the real thing, but I've had worse aircraft on FS.
fun and helpful video again AvAngel. not a great fan of nemth design, i picked up the yak-18t and i also found it handled on the ground like a tail dragger. it also had some "moments" in the air which i put down to the sim until watching your video and you trying to tame this beast on the ground struck me that these things dont seem to happen when flying other dev`s aircraft much. i also have there Aerolite 103 which has the squeaky brake too. quirky nemth aircraft seem to be but sometimes not in a fun way. They are no mscenery (which unfortunately i have one of theirs) but definitely there aircraft do seem to need more work. I`m still xbox based even so i dont feel i`m missing out on this one
Look back at your idle engine speeds - you're idling at 2500 rpm. you're flying around on the ground because the prop governor is totally wonky and the only way to handle it normally is to leave it in fully coarse. try putting it in idle on the ground, as in throttle fully out and the cycle the prop lever. your rpm will fly almost all the way up and down, it is totally cracked.
somewhere along the line these publishers will stop throwing these out as cash grabs with the promise of updating later and give us finished products instead, hit them where it hurts, don't give them your money.

Picked this up yesterday. This is SO not a study level aircraft! The manifold pressure does not even rise when RPMs are lowered for a given throttle setting. It also idles at 1100rpm .... should be 650 in this aircraft. And those are the least of it's inaccuracies and awful bugs. It's a real mess. This is the last model I'll ever buy from Nemeth. Just cash grabbers with no quality. If this is study level then Carenado aircraft are NASA standard..... yeah, exactly! :o) PS. SIAI is an acronym, so the manufacturer is pronounced "S.A.I.A Marchetti", or in Italian "esse, ee, a, ee Marchetti".
The metal of an airplane's skin can't be perfectly flat. So far, only the Carenado has been able to make metal irregularities indistinguishable from reality. And some other developers. In the cockpit, the instrument panel and some textures are primitively flat and clean. The developers clearly did not pay attention to this. This is not good. But the materials of the seats are good.
This plane has a really cool retro vibe, but just like the Yak, it has blatantly severe... physics issues. I was going to buy this plane, but not any more. That's a shame. :/
Your "crabbing" is almost certainly caused by the xbox controller,I've had the same problem.What I do is use the controller to crank the view in the opposite direction and then let go,with luck it should come back to the correct position....................................
If you only use the Xbox controller for drone view and not for flight you could go in to the controller options and remove all the control surface assignments.
Ah, another Nemeth glitch-fest. The Yak, in addition to the wonky ground handling, is destroyed by overspeed well below its real Vne, and has laughably slow aileron response, both of which are major problems in an aircraft that claims to be fully aerobatic capable. It's more or less impossible to do a loop without overspeeding the airplane. I've given up hoping that they'll fix it with an update; apparently they've been too busy building other glitchy airplanes.
Too many things off on this one and there's not much confidence in the dev to provide constant feed of updates. It's a pass for me. Thanks for the review!

The ailerons are reversed when looking at the wings. Basic detail which has been missed.

It's like they have all the tools they need to make a really good aircraft but they just didn't want to putt in the effort the make it really good.

BRsimDesigns did something similar to this with their ERCOUPE lately.
