The Warden should have been a DLC, it would have been epic to see him interact with his son. My Warden was incredibly powerful. More powerful than my Inquistor.
I enjoy that everyone seems to have chosen the Cousland origin, and I chose the Tabris origin, so my Kieran is Half-Elf. And it's strange, since I hadn't seen him before I played Origins, so I coincidentally designed my Elven Warden to look eerily similar to his son, lol.
I too played as Tabris! My HoF is all white with blue eyes, so he’s pretty off with the colouring (except for the skin, I guess) But he has pretty similar facial features to Keiran, and it warms my heart.
Funnily enough, if Alistair is Keiran's father she will speak oddly highly of Alistair. If Alistair asks her "What does Keiran know of... his parentage?" Morrigan will tell him that "he's been told his father was a good man. I felt you deserved at least that much". Compare that to Loghain asking the same question she will say "Keiran knows nothing of his father, and it will stay that way."
I hope we get to see the warden again. Even if he died, there is the orlesian warden, or could follow biowares own cannon, which I think would be iffy with the fans, especially as a game. Maybe DLC.
Galahad I don’t think BioWare would do that. They like their accurate passing forward of decisions, so they wouldn’t lock the Orlesian Warden into being a human male warrior. They’d probably do a builder thing like with Hawke, to avoid pissing off fans.
@@MrBean8100 Fair enough, however, you can really put any random warden in there to fill in for a Dead Warden. Just like the Orlesian Warden, that was just some random substitute character that made up on the spot, they could do that again.

But after all the shit with Andromeda and Anthem, if they were to put a teaser of our warden in the DA4 trailer...that would make many people come back just for THAT, we all want to see our warden, even if for a single cutscene. I want a prequel expansion pack to DA4 that lets you play as your Warden again or the Orlesian Warden from Awakening. What Morrigan said about leash and safe sleep reminded me of Orsino. With the difference she didn’t became a corpse blood magic powered golem or assisted a serial killer.

I wonder what leads up to this point where Kieran is introduced. I played several playthroughs and never got to this point. Maybe cuz I did most of the areas/maps before I started Wicked Eyes, Wicked Hearts? Usually I did most of the content including the dlc's, before I started this quest. In the canon playthrough, Morrigan never had a child and the HoF was a female elf who died fighting the archdemon. You have to change all the choices and decisions in the dragon age keep and upload the changed worldstates.
No, Kieran’s existence depends on whether you romanced Morrigan or did the ritual before the final battle, if you did neither then Kieran doesn’t exist, if you do the ritual then Kieran is born with the soul of Urthemiel, the old god that you fight at the end of Origins. If you romanced Morrigan but didn’t do the ritual then Kieran is born as a normal child.

@@haroldhoover9498 Oh, yeah. I really missed that part. The abdomen's pretty big so the chances are bigger that her womb wasn't hit. It makes more sense since the blade should be stabbed upward with a bit of incline to generate thrust. Unless Marjolaine stabbed her just above her vagine.
@@jameschristophercirujano6650 justo recently played Leliana's song and for what i was able to see the stab happened at the right side of the abdomen, but a little over where the womb may be and surprisingly closer to the stomach, I am not really sure if an injury to the womb would cause the symptoms shown when she was stabbed but a direct injury to the stomach actually can easily bring the biggest and strongest of men to their knees, easily
@@Zanc-nu8lf Well, at the end of the day, it's the writer's story, just that since they do offer an expanded relationship status than a traditional man x woman, I just hoped they give the option for the traditional male fantasy of impregnating all characters and do a Genghis Khan in a fantasy world XD
Everytime I hear them talk about the hero of ferelden, i kinda tear up a little.
He’s alive but just off finding a cure for something but I bet he’ll be back with Morrigan and Kieran
100% Hoping for a new game to straight up let you choose a protagonist from any of the previous Dragon Age games to play as. Bring back the Warden and get to play as a dwarven king or savior of the elves... one can dream...
right? like, it doesn't even matter who the antagonist is, the warden's cleaning shop. I dun care if it's fen harel, some freaky ass qunari, or my dad after a few drinks, they're beatin everyones ass ;3;
The Warden should have been a DLC, it would have been epic to see him interact with his son. My Warden was incredibly powerful. More powerful than my Inquistor.
too bad it's been a long time since they released it and nothing
Yeah I thought that was bullshit. It should have been a DLC with your Warden finding a cure for the calling.
What do you mean too powerful?
I think he means dual wielding warrior that oneshots everything on the hardest difficulty. That kind of too powerful xd
I would imagine my Dalish Warden being voiced by mark meer in the DLC if it came true.
8:55 "He could be a great aid against Coryphaeus, or terrible foe to the Inquisition"
Sends chills to my spine. She knows what Warden is capable of.
Yeah 😨😨😨 he would be a terrible foe against the Inquisition….just imagine…the damages he could cause
This makes me want to replay DAO again XD
I enjoy that everyone seems to have chosen the Cousland origin, and I chose the Tabris origin, so my Kieran is Half-Elf. And it's strange, since I hadn't seen him before I played Origins, so I coincidentally designed my Elven Warden to look eerily similar to his son, lol.
I too played as Tabris!
My HoF is all white with blue eyes, so he’s pretty off with the colouring (except for the skin, I guess) But he has pretty similar facial features to Keiran, and it warms my heart.
No such thing as half elves in DA, Human elf children are always Human
I always mained either Tabris or Mahariel. Landed on a Tabris for my main save that I used in DA2/DAI tho
"Mom, can you wear more clothes?"
I love how her having Kieran with the Warden changed her so much, she's a big ol mama bear
8:59 My dear Morrigon still low balling Alistair are you?
Morrigan and Allistair simply do not mix! lol
"He has done well. His father has every reason to be proud."
Is that when the Warden dies?
+Kazz or maybe when he was attacked?
Isn't that when Morrigan performed the ritual with either Alistair or Loghain?
I'm guessing here but it seemed to be if Kieran's a normal child rather than the OGB. If that's the case, the father can only be the warden.
the HoF better be in DA4 with the most epic entrance scene ever. If they were in Inquisition the breach would be closed in 15 minutes.
I hope we get to see the warden again. Even if he died, there is the orlesian warden, or could follow biowares own cannon, which I think would be iffy with the fans, especially as a game. Maybe DLC.
It's heavily implied that Orlesian Warden is Stroud.
They've stated many times the warden wouldn't return. But after all the shit with Andromeda and Anthem, if they were to put a teaser of our warden in the DA4 trailer...that would make many people come back just for THAT, we all want to see our warden, even if for a single cutscene. I always felt closer to the warden than hawke or the Inquisitor.
I want a prequel expansion pack to DA4 that lets you play as your Warden again or the Orlesian Warden from Awakening. I want to experience the search to end the calling and play through my Warden as he sees the world 10 years more experiences. I want to see him interact with his old crew and his love and his son.
Never played 2 or 3, but after stepping through that gate with her, this now sorta completes my head canon :p
Thanks!
I: Will his father be joining us as well?
M: ...unlikely
5 minutes later
Alistair/Logain arrive in Skyhold.
M: %$&@
future DA games Kieran is protagonist and his companion is Connor from redcliffe , Inquisitor child, hawke siblings,
Guess he doesn't exist in Veilguard.
Yeah, I think they just disregarded every Dark Ritual ending and just had the sacrifice ending. A shame, really. I'd have been fine if they only just made it be relevant for like a offhand comment or a codex entry.
i went through the mirror with Morrigan in DAO and now i question what "events conspired' that would make him leave. SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!!
Old post, I know, but what she's referring to is the HoF's quest to find a cure for the taint and end the Calling for Grey Wardens.
She almost sounds like Flemeth in Inquisition
remember how Morrigan used to make fun of her reputation and didn't cared about the consequences? Kieran brought out a fine mother out of her.
What Morrigan said about leash and safe sleep reminded me of Orsino. With the difference she didn’t became a corpse blood magic powered golem or assisted a serial killer.
Imagine if someone in Veilguard's dev team had watched this. Maybe we would have gotten the Morrigan players remembered rather than some entity wearing her face and skin.
Morrigan will forever be my favorite romance option.
I just finished dragon age origins and I agreed to have a child with her. My warden was an elven mage so I'm wondering if Kaden will be an elven mage in inquisition. I played inquisition already, but when I found out about the dragons keep website I inputted my choices in the website. So this will be very interesting outcome when I play it again.
Morrigan as a mother is quite wholesome, in a way
A terrible foe indeed.
Agreed
Yeah, you can imagine the Warden making a solo against the Inquisition and killing half of the organisation before being putting down.
I love Morrigan but they shouldnt have let Claudia Black's son do any voice acting :D But it warms my heart so hearing her talking about being a happy family the three of them, so satisfying :D
Morrigan romance with an Amell would be interesting connecting hawk even more to inquisition
In the fourth game we need to see the Warden being a father and not a background disappeared character.
1:05 awkward...
I love how even when the warden is not with morrigan she still cares, fears, and respects him.
Ah, Morrigan. She was awesome.
My OG Warden was an Aeduncan Rogue. Has two kids but Kieran was fully raised with both parents unlike his kid with Mandy he had before he was banished. I really loved this ending for my warden after the work I did to get the endings I though best for Origins and DA2
0:34 like stockings!
With Dragon Age 4 on the horizon, I wonder what role will Kieran play?
i wanted to know that if the kid is aware of his nature.. If he knows that he is a god.
@@traumabasedmindcontrol8259 He WAS one, before Flemeth taken his old god soul from him.
Kieran? Who cares about Kieran, I just wanna know what role Sandal will play!
@@chapacoka There will be a quest with a barrier to a temple/castle that we can only enter with a special rune. But in order to get said rune we must speak to a secret underground merchant
she don't said anything if you tried to kill her??
I want to know that as well.
+Marcelo Caceres is the line at 1:06 i think
+Marcelo Caceres From what I understand if you try to kill her her son isn't born.
@@Avengedtenfold Kieran was already born by the events of Witch Hunt
DanaDuchy You missed the other 2 dialogue lines at 8:20 btw =P
I thought she was commonly a spider, never knew she was also a tiger.
3:03 - Ya know, looking back, this should have been a clue.
hmmm make you vomit eh? Riight you're acting tsundere again Morrigan
Morrigan looks so hot in this game
Meh, she always does
@@yang6642"always does" her face is horribly weird when talking or making facial expressions in origins
How did Anora age so much more than Morrigan lol
1:01 I thought kieran was....hosting the soul of an old god?
Yes, but she specified in the dialogue that happens before the ritual something along the lines that the old god's soul wouldn't affect the child, specifically that the child "wouldn't be evil."
no, the kid is a god himself. The soul of the god is born in the body of that kid. That kid is the archdemon you kill in Origins.
I wonder what leads up to this point where Kieran is introduced. I played several playthroughs and never got to this point. Maybe cuz I did most of the areas/maps before I started Wicked Eyes, Wicked Hearts? Usually I did most of the content including the dlc's, before I started this quest. And afterwards Morrigan joins the Inquisition, but I never got introduced to her son.
In the canon playthrough, Morrigan never had a child and the HoF was a female elf who died fighting the archdemon. You have to change all the choices and decisions in the dragon age keep and upload the changed worldstates.
Did you put your game results in the Dragon Keep and transfer the files to DA:A and DA:I?
@@angelicastern2385 No, I haven't, so that must be it. Thnx :)
@@metalfyregaming2468 You’re welcome, you’re gonna love it!
damn.. the resolution.. HD? So Morrigan has kid even a Warden didn't do the "Witch of Hunt" DLC on Origins?
No, Kieran’s existence depends on whether you romanced Morrigan or did the ritual before the final battle, if you did neither then Kieran doesn’t exist, if you do the ritual then Kieran is born with the soul of Urthemiel, the old god that you fight at the end of Origins. If you romanced Morrigan but didn’t do the ritual then Kieran is born as a normal child.
maciejl20 If you do the ritual or let Loghain or Alistair sacrifice themselves sure, if you don’t do the ritual though and the Warden kills the archdemon, they’re killed along with it
My boy Kieran Aeducan has the Throne of Orzammar to inherit from his Uncle-King Bhelen.
All with or without his Stone Sense, his Mom blessed him with an Old-God Soul. 7:07
Kieran was raised to be a mountainous spirit of faith under my beliefs in the Stone and the Maker.
Even though the Calling sings louder, I shall overcome with the Power of Blood, Avernus' ethical research, and the Architect.
Returning to the Stone, the Maker, the Fade, or to my Morrigan and Kieran; I will let faith, love, and wisdom be my guides.
Your Inquisitor looks like Theo Von
Technically he is a heir because If you play male cousland and do the ritual he’s your son and therefore has a claim to highever or let’s say female cousland and you romance Alastair and you tell him to do the ritual he has a claim on the throne of Ferelden
Also Aeducan heir if you chose Harrowmont.
It never occurred to me to make my Inquisitor different to my Warden, so it was rather unnerving to hear Morrigan talk about him when, in terms of appearance, name, and abilities he was standing right in front of her.
XDDDDDDDD my Hawke and Hero of Ferelden are equals. And now my Inquisitor will became the SAME PEOPLE. That is DRAGON CLONE AGE
Which of these are reference to the kid being from Logain?
Wow, so if warden had lived so he is just hearing real Calling that why he/she is not in the games? clever
Dude, the Calling is 30 years after the Joining. And the Warden's was 10 years ago.
@@varric i think Calling can come to different wardens in different time, depending on amount of blight in blood or smthing, its literally a slow poison.
wait....Loghain can appear in inquisition? I had no idea after all these years...I'm disappointed in myself lol.
The way she says "protect him to my last breath" makes me wonder if she will eventually die by sacrificing herself in some way in a future game to save Kieran. On another note, imagine having Morrigan as a mother-in-law lol.
So fiona is alisters mother she was a grey warden before giving birth, then the taint was gone after, maybe the secret to overcoming the calling is child birth sooo only women can overcome it at least that way and maybe men can another way.... Like by passing on their blight to a younger warden mmmm but idk how it would transfer possibly blood magic but it's hard to say. I'm thinking someone should make a theroy about it
When did Morrigan lose her cat eyes? Aww...
i hope the warden returns in da4
Being a mother made her somehow even hotter
Morrigan seems happier being a mother
Bruh, Avernus used blood magic and the lives of captured Nobles and their soldiers to prolong his own life. That is hardly an acceptable option.
It funny to think this kid is all powerful God
Somebody please can remind me why she said his father is dead? This ritual they did was for saving wardens life...?..
You can have Kieran born without the ritual if you romance and sleep with her without doing the ritual
@@Cosmicrunner6665 is this child planned or is it suprise?+ I am sure that i've seen "human kieran" as alistair son or loghain son.
@@ervus3289 idk about human Loghain Alistair but Im confident it's a surprise for the warden and morrigan
Is all of this with morrigan and her son only in a dlc? I've played dragon age numerous times and never ran into him yet. I've missed a lot and always find something new when I play again
No, it’s in the main game. You can talk to him in the inquisition keep.
Have to have someone bone morrigan before the final battle
I knew it morrigan become pregnant when the 1st time she ask warden to join her in her tent
So... There's a Michael York inquisitor mod?
So, all the data from the origins games... Do they carry over to the PS4 version?
We need dlc for Lilliana... what about that story line? Cmon multiple characters and story's and love choices... that makes alot of different story's. These games are great and I love them but they do lack alot of possibilities due to lack of dlc... and I swear the game revoves around morrigan... she has the most lore and dlc out of all characters shit even (the warden) dies leaving morrigan and boy alone, sad 😔
I always thought kieran sounded too young for his age... then i learned that despite his massive(relative) size, he's only 10 years old.
Funny how in game almost every character wears same outfit after many years.
It almost screams that the developers were just lazy to make new clothes for them.
Ah yes, the character that does not exist in my version.
The character in itself is so important and still present to this day.
I've seen them trying to cover the HoF absence by saying that the ending where they sacrificied is canon... and I get that. I get that the HoF has make their times and new heroes will arise in the next games.
But you can't tell me a DLC is impossible, for the payers who keeps asking after their Hero.
It doesn't need to be a BIG adventure... i just wants to see my Warden possibly in her last days, fighting against her Calling.
I love you too, ex-Swamp Witch.
RIP Bioware.
I guess she lied about the father not being in the picture at all
Why does Morrigan say "I wish things had been different in the end"? I am playing two games with the exact same keep configuration. In both of them, the Warden is alive and Alistair is Kieran's father. In one save she says this, in the other something else. What triggers that??
I think she said it if the Warden refuses her and she leaves before the final battle. She regrets abandoning him.
It must be a bug in your game.
@@juanlaise1059 That makes sense, thanks!
It's strange how Morrigan is such a dutiful and endearing mother yet still dresses so immodestly.
Don't they call that a MILF? lol
the two have nothing to do with one another. modesty holds no weight when it comes to someone's character, mate. i hardly see how being a good mother would get in the way of her dressing the way that makes her happy.
She is literally a bog witch, let her live. HER mother eats people.
Morrigan knows of Fiona, does she knows who Fiona actually is?
About Alistair? No, only Duncan and Loghain
Must I play DAO to get this scenes/dialogue?
Tyrus Cheese just match up a Dragon Age Keep save that has what you want to have happened in previous games for when you start a new game
