That's the commitment that we should make every single day - to die to ourselves, our sins and selfish desires and let Christ live in us. Be on His side not only in His victory but also in persecutions and troubles that we all Christians face.

I cant help but think, as we get closer to the things in Revelation being played out, and we finally understand, that we will see just how descriptive Jesus’s prophecy to John is, and how incredibly explained it really is, but we couldn’t see it until we needed to see it. God is amazing and he has thought of every possible thing. Because he loves us.
I appreciate that this focuses on HOW to read these prophecies and not exactly limiting what they say. I respect that you are giving us a framework rather than a list of answers.

I have been watching videos on end times, rapture, 2nd coming of Christ an awful lot lately....maybe i am just really tired of being on this fallen world, and fallen state of man, that I long for everlasting bliss and righteousness to usher in, the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I did the same thing a couple weeks ago and I also had two dreams about the rapture already. In the last dream about jesus I had, he was sitting on a white horse and said that it is time. I believe that he will come very soon

End of these times...it makes perfect sense. Not sure why people don’t want to hear it. Maybe it scares them, but they shouldn’t be scared but rest in Jesus.
It actually doesn't make sense at all. The world as it is now looks nothing like what's predicted by biblical prophecy. This is just a modern corruption that ultimately stems from the spiritualization that pagans brought into religion in the ancient church. Figures such as Augustine, for example. If this world is Zion then the bible is simply false. All you're left with after that is a bunch of unreliable religions, but you can not claim in any capacity that Yeshua and the Apostles were true or that the OT messianic hope is true.
The best thing to do is to get into what the OT prophecies actually expect. The pagan spiritualization comes from a failure to understand the two-part expectation of Messiah in the OT, where the spiritualization is on the opposite end of the Rabbinical Tradition's error. 1) Messiah has to die; 2) Messiah has to conquer. This actually lead to Messiah Ben David vs Messiah ben Joseph in the Traditions because the Jews were utterly confused by texts like Isaiah 53. It is the basis of the Second Advent. Yeshua returns and conquers and establishes Zion because he still has to fulfill the second half of the messianic expectation.
Just as the first half (which the Pharisees tried to spiritualize or re-interpret) were literal, the second half (which follows after pagan spiritualization of the conquering) will also be literal. To claim that both halves were fulfilled in the First Coming in any capacity is to insert a non-Jewish understanding of the OT.

Maybe the fear is that if this is true then living for God becomes harder. If there is a literal "end times," all we have to do is bunker down until Jesus comes for us. If it happens in the blink of an eye with no literal signs, then we need to be alert at all times. Also, if there is no literal tribulation, those who would be left behind will not have a chance to repent. Pride might also have something to do with it. "I know Jesus is coming for me."

I've done alot of trying to help others alot of talking since I've turned to God a couple years now because I don't want to lose my family and friends. But it's like talking to a wall they can't hear anything. The spirit of pride. But my grandmother prayed for me for a long time. And God eventually working in me. I just feel God return is near possible in the next 10 years hey maybe tomorrow. I do feel the urgency to want to help others. I just have to keep praying that God will hear my prayers and help those who can't hear.

Helping others, strangers is what we should all be doing. It's the message the missing puzzle piece that people ignore that would fix this world. Don't give up.
Don't stop praying, witnessing, and leading by example. I prayed and fasted for my family for months and my fiance and brother have returned to Christ this year, my mom's heart is starting to soften, and we just shared the gospel with my youngest brother a couple days ago. Pray for seeds to be planted, pray for witnesses to come to them. And remember that it is the Holy Spirit who saves, not us. I will pray for your family ❤

Bra, we're the real Isrealites but the Churches and Mosques won't tell our people. In fact the Pastors and Imams are just as brainwashed, telling untrues and lies. Here are Scriptures of the Atlantic Slave Trade and what the true people looked like; Deuteronomy 28:64-68, Genesis 15:12-14, Jeremiah 9:16, Luke 21:24, Isaiah 14:2, Jeremiah 14:2, Revelation 2:9, Exodus 4:6, Lamentations 4:8, and much more proving that the so called African Americans are the true Jews.
Deuteronomy 28 Curses fit us to the TEE. IT doesn't match the people in Isreal claiming to be. They were NEVER scattered on ships into slavery NEVER seeing that land of Isreal again or losing their Heritage forgetting their History as we did and Deuteronomy 28:68, Jeremiah 17:1-4, explains. Satan is a great Deceiver and his Children who do lie to keep this Agenda going help out in this lie and they make it look good because these people have money but they're not the people. The real people were uprooted from Isreal and scattered amongst the Nations by way of ships into Servitude amongst the Nations for the sins of their Forefathers.

@@poldariser8686 God loves everyone, but remember God is perfect, so he is just, you have to pay for what you've done unless you repent. Jesus came here on earth to pay our debts, so that we can have a close relationship with God, but you have to repent and trust in Jesus only. It's why he loves us, we don't deserve all of that but God loved us so much he gave his son.
I love how God’s heart in it all is to see everyone saved. His mercy for the unbelievers is so strong through all of the trials. All these things happen and he is hoping in it that they will turn to him before it is too late - before the end of the age.

He doesn't have to hope. He knows the end from the beginning! According to Scripture everyone gets to live forever but not everyone gets saved during this age. Go to biblegatway and look up hell in Young's literal translation. This concept does not come from the Bible but from the Catholic church. That said there are serious consequences for not honoring the Lord.
Those who argue against unconditional election often use verses like 1 Timothy 2:4 and John 3:16. How can we reconcile election with a verse like I Timothy 2:4, that says that God “desires all men to be saved,” or John 3:16, that says God “so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”? The answer lies in correctly understanding the will of God and the love of God. God’s passive will needs to be understood in contrast to His decreed will (those things He foreordains to happen). The passive will of God includes the things He might desire in a sense but does not foreordain or bring to pass. Certainly, if God is sovereign and all-powerful, as the Bible declares Him to be, then He could bring about the salvation of all men, if that was His decreed or pre-determined will. Reconciling this verse and others with the many that teach election is an unconditional choice of God is no more difficult that recognizing that there are things God might desire but does not decree to happen. It could be said that God does not desire men to sin but as part of his predetermined plan He allows them to sin. So while there is a real sense in which God does not take pleasure in the destruction of the wicked and desires that all be saved, His pre-determined plan allows for the fact that some will go to hell.
I want to know Tim's secret to be SO gracious to such bad interpretation choices (like Left Behind). When I realized the Bible just plain doesn't teach a "Rapture" and every attempt to force one into the text comes from bad Bible reading... I still can't say the word without spitting a little. He's just so gracious about it all. How does he CONSTANTLY come from that mode? Just once I want to hear him say "That's just stupid"... And yet I don't, I want to be more like Tim in this. Some of it is bound to be personality driven. He's just calmer than I am. But if he has a secret, I want to know what it is!

But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

@@thomasfholland Speaking of His second coming, Jesus said, “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father” (Matthew 24:36; cf. Mark 13:32). The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is God (John 1:1, 14), and we know that God is omniscient. So it seems strange that Jesus would say that He did not know when He would return.
The key to understanding Jesus’ seeming lack of knowledge in this matter lies in the nature of the Incarnation. When the Son of God became a man, He remained fully God, but He also took on a true human nature. Jesus retained all the attributes of divinity, yet, as a man, He voluntarily restricted their use. This was part of the “self-emptying” or self-renunciation spoken of in Philippians 2:6-8. When Christ entered our world, He laid aside the privileges that had been His in heaven. Rather than stay on His throne in heaven, Jesus “made himself nothing” (as the NIV translates Philippians 2:7). When He came to earth, “he gave up his divine privileges” (NLT). He veiled His glory, and He chose to occupy the position of a servant.
There were times when Jesus publicly manifested His divine knowledge and power on earth (John 2:25; 11:43 -44). On those occasions, Jesus’ demonstrations of His divinity were directed by the Father. On other occasions, He had no such directive from the Father, and He kept His glory veiled. On all occasions, Jesus obeyed the Father’s will: “I always do what pleases him,” He said (John 8:29).
So, when Jesus said He did not know when He would return, He was actively humbling Himself and taking the form of a servant (see Philippians 2:7-8). Since no other mortal knows the time of Jesus’ return-that information is the Father’s alone (Matthew 24:36)-Jesus voluntarily restricted His knowledge on that point. It was part of Jesus’ submission to the Father (see John 5:30; 6:38; 8:28-29) and His mission to live a human life.
Some things Jesus apparently chose to “give up the rights” to be privy to during His earthly ministry. The knowledge of when He would return was one of those things. Jesus, now exalted in heaven, surely knows all, including the timing of His second coming.
Jeremiah Rowe sr. He is simply pushing back His return to give us a chance to come to Him before it’s too late. I can imagine that Jesus being God incarnate must have restrained and limited His power and glory practically infinitely during his sermons and ministry on earth. Even so, Christ was in prayer constantly to the Father and needed the anointing of the Holy Spirit before He could begin His ministry and if He needed it imagine how much more we do!

Brothers and sisters in Christ, the time is very near. The wrath of GOD will soon be upon humanity and all evil hidden in darkness shall try to escape. They will move to high places, but in doing so, they will expose themselves and everyone will see them.
We are living in the end times because we are all about to die at any time. We worry about the end of all times when we should care about the end of our time, our personal end time, our death.
Jesus said that one will stay, one will be taken, warning us that you can live your life but if you are not careful you may not be saved, we have to be focused all the time and live for God, for Jesus.
The importance of us knowing that the world and time will end is to understand that nothing, NOTHING, lasts for ever in this material world.
One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever. The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose. The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits. All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full: unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again. All things are full of labor; man cannot utter it : the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing. The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us. There is no remembrance of former things ; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.
"but the earth abideth for ever.' God will end the world to demonstrate his own eternity and he loves us so much that he gave us the chance to overpass this and live with him for eternity.
The material spectrum must disappear.
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
God is giving us hints of what will happen so we can avoid things that will lead us to separation.
Do not worry, things will be hard, people, things, places will pass away but be sure that God is eternal and that he has promised us that he can renew us for eternity.

Growing up I used to hear about the end of the world frequently and worried about it. In the late 60's/early 70's it really looked like the end. But when I read that quote from Billy Graham I thought that's so logical and true. Since then I never spent a moment worrying or even wondering about the topic.

33:30 Internet Historian has a good video about Herald Campaign's prediction, he tried to predict it 3 times but in the end he admitted that he was wrong and he sinned ("Only the father knows the day and the hour")
So when I have dreams about this topic I try to study it to be better and not to try to predict when it's gonna happen
We’re not to the end yet however many things have been fulfilled. Many more to come however I definitely feel difference in how things are going lately. I feel we are much closer then people realize how close idk. Definitely a shift in things. Cause I was living my life minding my own business trying to do the best I could to be a godly parent and wife till one day I got this feeling of hurry hurry and a tugging saying pay attention.

It was a cool topic. It took me 1 month to understand the context of all the verses and its chapter (i used strongs concordance)
Even the apostles thought they were living in the end times. It has lasted longer than anyone expected. There is definitely a lot more to come

My understanding about visions is if someone was delivering a message through a vision they saw, you would be filled with the Holy Spirit to know it's true. I was raised LDS and heard some interesting stories about divine intervention and visions, and there were times I felt the spirit and times I didn't. I think divine intervention is absolutely real. Some people may not experience it, or do and don't recognize it, and it's also not up to me to judge them because that is between them and God. My Dad always taught me that if I was ever in doubt about anything to pray out loud (which I do in private) to God and ask Him. So I think that is always a good rule of thumb when you're questioning those instances. I ask God questions about EVERYTHING 😅 and the answers I get come from using my senses. I don't get visions, I am taught in various ways. Like finding this podcast! It's been an eye opening experience and I appreciate it very much!

The book of Daniel predicted the kingdom of God would come during the time period of the kings ranging from the Babylonian empire to the Roman empire. (Daniel 2 : 44)
The Bible is God's word so His kingdom must have arrived before the Roman empire disappeared.

I reccomend watching Tim’s lecture about The Making if the Bible. He dabbled on it. They were not “taken out” they were never culturally accepted in the TaNak. Hence why Jesus grew up reading the scripture but never quoted from it or referenced it

There is no special code for understanding the book of Revelation. The symbols in Revelation are references to different prophecies in the Old Testament.
Matthew 24 is about the 70th week of Daniel. The disciples asked Him specifically about His return and the end of the age.
If you believe Jesus has already returned, then you believe these things were fulfilled. If you believe His return is still future, then you believe Jesus is describing the events leading up to His return.
It’s interesting how Jesus’ Olivet discourse parallels the events in the book of Revelation.
The birth pangs are an indication that the kingdom is about to be birthed. An expectant mother doesn’t have contractions for her entire pregnancy, only in the final hours.
In Revelation, Jesus give John the outline for how to understand the timeline of the visions. “Therefore write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after these things.”

The church and Israel are distinct in God’s program. Both saved by the cross, but each having a different origin, purpose and destiny. If you don’t understand that, you will be confused on about 80% of the Bible.

Prophet speaking in the name of God, this is not a challenge there is actually a test it is in Deuteronomy chapter 18 towards the end the Lord told Israel that profits are authenticated if sent by him if a prophet is not sent by the Lord the Lord is testing his people to see whether or not they will listen to that prophet so the answer to the question that Sam had is that there is a test again it's in Deuteronomy chapter 18 call the test of a prophet.

Very interesting and so informative. With regards to visions and dreams, I always believe that it stems from a deep relationship with God. Say a prophet tells you something (let's say it's personal) I always believe that God will tell you first and that word from the prophet is always confirmation...or the word from the prophet will be in line with the Bible... a spirit of discernment develops from a deep relationship with Father.... as He says my sheep know my voice. They're referring to Revelation interpretation to be like Nostradamus, but Revelation happens to be bolted up to the best selling book in all of human history - which is also wrapped around the only single event that split all of human history into two pieces (ie: BC and AD)... Nostradamus was an single individual with claims that get interpreted and reinterpreted over and over again to match the times.

Revelation isn't a secret code, you have to know the rest of the book to have any idea what it's saying... otherwise someone's understanding will be undersampled (ie: aliased) - they'll get misimpressions b/c they don't know for themselves, like the french expert who's never actually been to France. There's a reason why the Bible is the best selling book of all time, anyone can pick it up and apply what it says - in order to see if it's still true here and now in present day - if we can determine that what it says is still true today, then we can believe that what it says about after here is true too... which is faith, but not a blind faith as many would (wrongfully) suppose.

And also it says the “dead in Christ rise first” so people are coming out of their graves? I do believe there will be a rapture but I don’t think scripture supports the idea it’s going to be secret. Looking back now a year since watching this, and with regards to your last question on this episode, concerning the Mark of the Beast in relation to the vaccine, and I believe that the real sticking point (pun possibly intended) for the people who are seeing signs of connection to Revelation is that the drive to vaccinate has been incessant and the consequences for not vaccinating seem to be steering those individuals into a position where they will lose their jobs, and not be permitted into certain places. "..cause all, rich and poor, freeman and slave, to take a mark, without which they will not be able to buy nor sell..".
Without leaping directly to the "the vaccine is the mark of the beast!" conclusion, the events surrounding this thing, coupled with the intense suppression of voices who are trying to speak against it, and it being largely accepted as "the only option" - I can see why individuals are connecting those dots. In the language of our faith, Jesus doesn't paint a picture in which the majority of us are going to make it to heaven, saying "I am the narrow gate, few will find it, many will fall by the wayside" and when you have a world where the majority of its inhabitants support something, and mock those who don't, I think a Christian's spidey senses should be going off. You did your part to leave this question until the very end, and with all due respect, did your best to portray the voicers of these concerns as conspiracy theorists, but I suppose the proof will be in the pudding, on this one. You are absolutely right in that the language John of Patmos used was deliberate and designed to guide a population of believers no matter where they found themselves on the prophetic timeline, but I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss this "fringe minority" of believers who have started to see signs of a socio-economic oppressive system being forced upon them in earnest. While I appreciate your levity in most situations, in this situation, the levity was undeserved, and in my opinion, indicative of a dangerous position being held by your team.
Apart from that, good episode, and very insightful.
I also found their levity to be somewhat insulting. It seems like they are mocking christianity under the guise of educational videos.
@@Sraye I guess the way to see it is that these guys have been doing this for quite a while now, and probably field "end of the world" questions on a regular basis even before covid. It doesn't excuse their mockery, but it does explain why various authorities on Scripture, even the ones we think are the best, can often get caught up in their own authority and become creatures of habit. The Pharisees also believed they knew the Scriptures better than Jesus - we're not exempt from this failing even today. And to be entirely fair, they are drawing responses based on around 2000 years of others wondering the exact same thing. Still - Christians don't mock. Very dangerous ground.
What about the Spirt and discernment? He does not cause confusion. The message is a simple one not meant for your own wisdom, what these guys just did is called bullying. I have been a huge fan until I just watched this video.

@@loganbradley8649 also a good point - I've been running that one through my studies as well. There are a great deal of odd passages and even more ominous interpretations in scripture - in many cases these two appear to nail it and clear things up nicely, but I've also noticed several instances of "waffling under pressure" - it's no easy thing to hold ourselves to Christ's standard, and all of us are constantly failing. But the Helper does not confuse, and all scripture is good for instruction. When I find myself waffling, I have to remind myself of what you just pointed out.

I love your content and animations. I have to be honest that when I hear anyone speak about scripture as prose, or poems or how it was structured, it truly bothers me. I believe as the bible says that the scriptures were written by men inspired by God and in some cases through the Holy Spirit. I am not a Biblical Scholar but most of the men that wrote the Bible really were not the most literate scholars. I don't believe that they planned and sculpted the scriptures in any manner. If it seems that way, I would take it that God and the Holy Spirited made that occur. You can call me Naive but I believe God did inspire the writers to write the words they did in the way he inspired them to write.
Try the Spirits! Open ur Bible and see if these things are so.

I don’t understand what you meant by your explanation of end times. You’re saying if it’s viewed as new creation is yet to come then that’s correct but if viewed as the world is going to end then that’s wrong? How does something new come unless the old is removed? A common theme in scripture is the old is destroyed to make way for the new.

Remember Revelation is a vision and shouldn't be taken literally. Prophecy as a whole is like that as well. We don't fully understand how it will all unfold but we do have a clue. Remember the Jews still to this day don't understand how a suffering servant was the promised Messiah. They thought he'd be a mighty warrior and he was but spiritually not physically. I said that to say in the end the whole earth will be burnt up with extreme heat, the wicked will be delt with, the resurrection will happen, and while we are eating the supper of the lamb the earth will regrow the garden of Eden like it was in the beginning.
Honestly, I've had apocalyptic dreams since I was a child. Prophetic dreams, or premonitions (i guess), actually run in our family. My Grandmother, my Mom, and now me (a guy lol). So, it's not a woman's intuition thing. I've had several other dreams that have come true, and the ones that were apocalyptic were so vivid that they were more like memories than dreams.

I don’t believe I’m a psychic at all and know the dreams are from God but I’ve been having a extremely hard time figuring them out. They are all flood dreams and in the dreams there’s these factors 1) I’m building/ entering a ark (2) see the wrath of the flood usually on a global scale (3) talking to someone of which I can’t see their face about the ark and the flood. And these types of ark and flood ideas even occur in when I’m awake with really bizarre coincidences. I wish I knew what these dreams are and I can go more into depth into them if someone wants me to because I have two years worth of these dreams
The point is, live as though he can come at any minute and evangelize as though he will come tomorrow

I’m sorry, this was a very poorly done “review” of the apocalypse. Please viewers, pick up your bible and a bible concordance and do your OWN study of the Bible. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide as you study the Word, and find a few trusted theologians and preachers to supplement your studies. You will feel more connected to the Lord doing it this way, I promise! Even just the dream of King Nebuchadnezzar of the head of gold: babylon, chest of iron: medo&persia, belly and thighs of bronze: greece split in half, legs of iron: two roman empire and feet of iron with clay: state and religion mixed but not mixing well together.
Then a rock (uncut by hands of human) smashes the feet and the whole idol breaks (which have been representing different forms of babylon). The rock (the power of God) covers the entire earth (He reclaims the earth).

It doesn’t end, as much as it gets REPLACED with a new world and heavens. Revelations says at the end of the book that the EVIDENCE of prophecy is the TESTIMONY of Christ. At the beginning of this book it says parts of it are for the churches and the rest for the end of days to come. So although I read it several times a year, I don’t own it..it is prophetic and it says we are to do what it says and it definitely has an outline FOR that. But it will be difficult to keep our clothes clean with the blood of the lamb, to come out from among them, and do good works to the end, to not fall away but endure, to be righteous with faith despite the lawlessness, obey and Glorify God the Father, etc. our own journey in life no matter what era you are born into, everyone will go along a path that has some similarities to this final book so we can all benefit from reading it several times yearly. I think it takes me two hrs (perfect for Sabbath) . Then when things happen in your lifetime it is exciting, as you see it evolve, because it is UNIQUELY relevant, and VERY sobering.Jesus commands us to obey what’s in that book. Just think you can read it within a movies showtime. You won’t understand it the first15 times but whenever something happens THE BOOK will be in your heart and your eyes will open and it’s SO COOL to say, “ Aha!”. One day He the Spirit as The Christ describes in JOHN will, show you what is about to happen or point out when it happens and THAT’s AMAZING (albeit scary).. and then you will RUN to reread it another 10 times for confirmation over these End of Says.
