In the control settings, analog 2 left and right is for "roll" and up and down is for "pitch". You can see these in the input settings if you go into the test mode.
I think it was from using an older version of Demul. This still has the problem with the black box at the bottom right, but I believe there are no problems on the emulator Flycast.

The first and third Crazy Taxis, at least. CT2 uses a different cursive font for its timer.
