Liverpool is one of the best Cities in the world. Great people and loads to do.
Nice to see Liverpool beyond being the hometown of the Beatles.
Liverpool is known for being the capital of pop and has the most successful English club (Liverpool)
I live Liverpool, the city, the people, Liverpool FC, the buildings in the city, but in anfield area it's so neglected, but I haaaaaate the Beatles, ughhh so overrated. Bunch of tree hugging hippies.
Keep up the videos with Sylvie, please. Even after you move in to your flat. Her energy is EVERYTHING. 👏

All beatles were actually from Liverpool! You can also visit their childhood houses. haha, you could have visited other places like Penny Lane roundabout, Straberry Fields, The Cavern... Maybe for next time!

@@SylvieFrizzy It’s your mannerisms, cheeky personality, your energy and beautiful smile! You’d have to be older to see it. I’m going off how Monie was when she was at her peak 80’s/90’s ... I remember her from that era and can see the likeness for all the above reasons and if it’s any consolation she must be in her 40’s/50’s now and she is banging, looks like she’s in her 20’s.
Giiirrrlll! Could you and Sylvie do a video on " tips travelling with a friend " including how to know someone would be a good travel buddy for you 😓, things to keep in mind to make sure you both feel like it's a balanced trip, how to prepare etc. Absolutely LOVE that you both don't mind doing something things separately.

Love the banter between you and Sylvie you can really see how close you are and have a great understanding, even though you have some different interests and hobbies - for those watching and thinking otherwise - it's called being adults! As someone who is from Liverpool i can sympathise with how frustrating it is trying to eat out. Liverpool is a VERY social city, people don't stay in, and I also don't think the joys of online shopping have been discovered because the queues for some of the bigger shops is really weird LOL. When you come back go to the Baltic Market, it's on the fringe of the city centre near the Cathedral, near where you're at during the start of the vid driving in. Lots of interesting outdoor food places good music and a lively atmosphere!

I just wanted to be able to do more but it’s pretty difficult to throw trips together last min during these times..but it‘s all good! I still had a great time & will def be back 😊

Liverpool is a nice city , used to have a large african and carribean area called toxeth but they were all offered new houses in different out skirt areas , so the community is very small now compared to Manchester leeds Birmingham

You know I am always down with exploring a new city because through your eyes I feel like I'm there taking it all in the city has to offer. Slyvie is just a joy to be around and nice person to boot. Other than Boujee, I can’t tell whether this trip was a hit or miss! You looked so bored on day 2 at the pizza restaurant and your disappointment being stuck inside while they watched the game was palpable. I know that feeling when you wanna go out so much that you don’t even want to take off your cute outfit and admit defeat!! Lolol Liverpool looks like there’s so much to see and eat!! I hope your next trip is more fulfilling
I haven't been for years so nice to see it in your film. You should visit the cavern club in Liverpool where the Beatles played - it's closed down but I think the building is still there. Also you should go on the famous Ferry and see the Liver building.

I'm originally from Liverpool but now I live in California. I moved there with my boyfriend who is from California. He finds my accent extremely funny. Also i recognised some of the places seen in the video.- 14:56 there was a missed opportunity with that sign it should of said in pizza we crust.

Being Liverpool born and bred, I'm obviously biased, but I want to THANK YOU VERY MUCH for giving our wonderful, vibrant, friendly city a good review. I used to work in an office and we'd have clients (who were usually very well off London businessmen) who'd ask for directions and would admit that they were nervous and not looking forward to coming here. I used to tell them that they would be very surprised to find that they liked it and that all the usual bad press about Liverpool and scousers being thugs, was just not the case. I can't remember one person saying they loved it and that the fabulous architecture blew them away. They had no idea. Most people you meet are warm, friendly and helpful. Anyway, again, thanks for doing your bit to put people right about the true Liverpool and not the false one people believe exists because of the bad press and lies always spread about us Scousers. Lotsa love to you. 😁🥰

It was Penny Lane you wanted to see, not Abbey Road! There's a nice breakfast place there called the Tavern. Lovely to see a tour of my hometown, I haven't been back for almost 3 years, I'm going up there soon, before the summer's out. So much has changed, lot's of nice new places to eat.

I think Abby Road is in London, that's near the famous Abby Rd studio.
Abbey Road is in London you should have gone on the beatles tour it would have took you to all the beatles houses and strawberry fields and penny Lane, there is also some amazing parks like Sefton Park and calderstones Park and then there's the beaches xx

Hey, normally they allow walks in Liverpool (lived here for 10 years, but because of covid they have stopped most places, because they have a reduced staff and spaces :-)

Haha when I first arrived I made friends with other Americans and expats from other countries…it took a little while to make actual British friends!
What stereotype is that? Every city in England is different. And every part of every city in England is different.
