this is a awsum video,thanks Dean for keeping the reapers alive,I always used these early 2000,friends had no idea how I made fishing look so easy using these lures & still have originals over the years of use,got some great stories using the reapers,thanks again Dean for keeping it Kiwi,& thanks Mike for this video,brings back great memories.
Thanks, will be doing some more videos using them with Dean. They can last for years if you use good line and have good knots.

Still have a handfull of the originals from back in the day. Even got the old video grim reaper put out many moons ago.
They last a long time if you use the right line and don't lose them . I was given one of the last blue and white one's a few years ago and I use to pull it out now and again for a session.🎣

Waiting for the swells to drop then I'll be heading out with Dean on his boat and he will show us how to catch them with the assist hooks. Should be a good episode and me always having used bait on a boat 😬 🎣
@@WekaDigitalMediaNZ looking forward to it! coming from the south island ive always used bait but since ive now moved to Tamaki Makaurau it seems like soft baits and lures are the way to go up here
