I just deleted this feature as I don’t do much highway cruises. You could always add them to the dash panel some how if you really needed it. To me it wasn’t worth it
help, I did everything you did, but my horn wont work off the blue wire which I'll deal with later. My biggest concern is the air bag bypass is not working. my light still flashes. any suggestions. please
Make sure your getting a good connection on the connector with the resistor plugged in. Also make sure you have the right resistor amount to little will not turn the light of it’ll act like a disconnected connection still.

Only way is to push tab back further away from ring till it basically just touches it. It takes a little playing with it to get it right but ultimately it’ll still have a sound in order for the horn to work.

@@JJBanuelos it says 97 f150 to use 161-162 hub. I got the 160 though. Wondering if it would work if not I’ll send it back. Anyways I already ordered the correct hub for my truck. I didn’t even try using the one I have.
So I got my steering wheel and let me tell you it will NOT fit with out the quick release hub the back of the horn will hit on the bolt that holds the short hub it's not deep enough I ask if I could change it for one that will fit and was told that's how they are made so I would have to buy the quick releas 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
You didn't go over some wire that you removed right from where the key goes into the ignition. You just edited right passed it. Ever since I removed it, just like you magically did in the video, my truck won't start. It'll turn over but won't start. Do I need to put it back in, and where does it need to hook up too after that?
I also noticed you didn't start the truck after the wheel was installed. So did you have issues with that? Did you have to reconnect the wire? Please let me know cause my truck is a brick. I'll see what I can find online but so far nothing.
Sorry bout that yeah I didn’t have any footage of me removing that wire that went to the lock cylinder I do know what your talking about. Honestly I think it was for the chime, once I removed mine that’s all really what stopped. I didn’t have any issues with it not starting at all
Hey off subject of steering wheels, do you recommend a paint and body shop around here? The guy I was dealing with son took over the business and he just wants to do insurance fender benders, play frisbee golf and smoke weed now so it kind of screwed me since he bailed on my lightning. I Found a guy in Texas City that’s seems good but that paint job you got is clean.
That sucks man. The guy I used also also worked out of Texas city but has then moved. Last time I talked to him he was trying to start his own little business. I’ll reach out to him & see if he’s back up & running & I’ll give you his info.

Well i gutted my interior this morning and found my air bag! Now i just need to replace the clock spring and cruise control switches, clean it all up while im at it and probably just put a new steering wheel cover on it to protect the wheel and myself
The hub might I don’t see them changing the steering shaft much on these. It’s worth a try if not Amazon will definitely let you return it within so many days.

Most definitely, always take extra precautions with dealing with the airbag system on any vehicle
