i played this game a ridiculous amount of time as a kid. when i couldnt sleep, i would go through the game in my head from beginning to end. i can not properly articulate how much i love this game
God I thought I was the only one who played this game as a kid! None of my friends had PC's that gamed in those days so my circle never knew this game. Thanks for the upload! Brings back a lot of memories of the yesteryear's!
When I first saw the cover art of Full Throttle, I thought it was a bike race simulator. There was a race game Full Throttle on ZX Spectrum. But in 1996 I read some game magazine and discovered that it's a quest game. And then I bought it for 3 $ on our russian pirate market))
My mum found this in the garage! She played it when she was a teenager herself. She told me about it and I decided to play it. I'm going to put the disc in now!!!
This was one of my all-time favorites growing up, even though I was only 5 when it was released I played the hell out of it many many times! Nostalgiafeels
This game randomly popped into my head, thought I'd look for a video. Brings back memories. It looks a heck of a lot better than I thought it would now!
Great memories playing this awesome game...back when story and characters mattered above flash, explosions and so on. Too bad Lucasarts is no more, this game warrants a sequel.
2:01:19 That's the voice of Tress MacNeille playing the character Suzi. She is also the voice of Agnes Skinner, Principal Skinner's mom in The Simpsons.
"You know what might look better on your nose? "What?" *grabbed *WHAM* *"The bar."* There's also something about Ben and Father Torque's conversation that I love. The noise of their bikes sounds like the Incom T-47 Snowspeeder from The Empire Strikes Back. I freaking LOVE those things, man.
Oh god the nostalgia.... I remember playing this on the PC at my mom's workplace like 18 years ago. I got stuck halfway through because I couldn't find that damn Cavefish hideout. Glad to finally see the parts I never got to. Such a well-written game...
these graphics are actually moreimmersive than than new games because its like between a narative and visuals so you still draw on your own imagination
So much nostalgia. God I wish somebody made a Full Throttle animated series using the same animation style (maybe not pixel art like the original, but more like the remaster instead) and same type of music. This retro-futuristic / post-apocalyptic world they created is too cool to just use it for 1 game then forget about.
I remember playing it probably 15 years ago, when I was just begining to learn english. Somehow I managed to beat the whole game without really understanding what I was doing. It also came with a version of Star Wars: Dark Forcers. Great memories. Thanks man
You had to use a special boot disc to free up memory just to run this game on 8 megs of ram, the standard at the time, and even then it usually crashed on the beginning credits. Even a quad speed cd-rom drive couldn't handle all the information this game transferred at one time and it usually brought most systems to their knees and begging for mercy during the movie segments. This made the game only more appealing to play. Full Throttle, Outlaws and finally Grim Fandango made LucasArts on par with the mighty Id software and it was a great time to own a pc. Thanks for this post. Increased Chances (The Apocalypse), the song playing from Todd's trailer, is one of the game's subtle highpoints.
just had a faint memory of the ramp scene flash through my mind. Had to Google motorcycle games from the 90s to find the name of this game and really glad I was able to, I must've been about 4 or 5 when I played this. Awesome nostalgia
I finally found this freaking game, it was a vague memory but i remembered...damn its so great, I remember liking the bike fights, its almost everything i recall, so it was hard for me to find...It was great to see my brother play it...thanks for the upload
Special Agent Utah yes the mid 90's were the golden years. Diablo, war craft, Chuck Yeagers air combat. ultra bots, and doom were games I spent many sleepless nights on. sneaking up in the middle a school night. fuck man the good simple old days. quake 3 arena and starcraft made me fail highschool. lol
DIABLO! and not just games bro that year in music...from Mad Season to Tricky...i remember playing Full Throttle while on the radio you could hear the first from Foo Fighters or Garbage or Rancid... even Blind Melons "Soup" was that year. And youd go to blockbuster to rent movies like "Se7en" or "Casino". I always say..."the chemical brothers ruined it all" XD
This is definitely one of my favourite! ASMR and nostalgia for teenage time! I just can't get enough of watching and listening to this original Full Throttle clip! So in love with it!
"Warning! Do not play in or around dumpster. Do not kick dumpster. Do not sleep in dumpster. Usage of this container for the disposal of human remains, may be in violation of local health ordinances."
I had thought NOTHING could POSSIBLY top NES games...until FULL THROTTLE ( and TWISTED METAL 2) turned me around. Unbelievably well-rounded movie/live finger-action/ puzzle solving/ rock n' roll serenade all rolled into 1 AWESOME game.
Damn! been looking for this game for 20 years! I played it when I was about 5 or 6 years old. I didn't know how the game was called and barely remembered any visual thing it had... just a slight memory of the place on 23:48. Thank you very much!
+Benjámin Kurilla (bbenjoe) Hmmm.. Although a rehaul of the fighting system is in order, there's just no beating the nostalgia of the pixelated graphics.
I played the hell out of this game way back. Still have it. Need to figure out the sound issues I got running it under a dos emulator so I can play it again. To this day I swear, if I ever start a club, there's a damn good chance I'm naming it the Polecats. And to this day I still find totally hilarious, "I can't, it's little feet are nailed to the piano." Which is, BTW, what Ben says if you try to pick up the stuffed mink on top of the piano in the bar.
That song playing out of Todd's trailer is called "Increased Chances" and if you listen carefully to the words of the song, it's describing what happens as an aftermath of a war, or a description of a warzone, it is a song of protest.
"Your ears are fine. It's what's between them that scares me." I wonder if Corley meant Ripburger's face (so ugly it scares him) or Ripburger's brain (a thinking machine creating diabolical/scary plans to get rid of Malcolm)
Mark Hamill was in this game? Holy crap. I played this game as a teenager but never realized. But this game is great, needs a real HD remake. Would sell great on steam.
Stumbled across this and rememberes there were a few Lucas Arts adventures I didn't play back then. Actually didn't think this one was as good as it seems to be by watching a bit of this :) Best thing about it is the fact that I can leave you a hoof bump /)
Some observations 1:00:23 Wow he put that fuel hose on fast! 1:29:00 If he got the booster then how did the other bike boost away? 2:13:20 safe code is faintly printed here, easy to miss. Notice he has a more postive sounding 'hmm' when you click on it. 2:16:35 entering safe code
I've been trying to remember the name of this game for so long! I remember playing this as a kid but I kept getting stuck somewhere. Time to return to it and finally beat it.
Always liked the way he grabs the bartenders nose ring and slams him on his own desk. Remember this game vividly. Had it but could not run it on my then PC because of something something HW problem. So annoying. Best gfx in an adventure game at the time it came out. Very much like Day of the Tentacle.
I m now 31 years old. I was nearly 8-9 years old when i was playing this game. I couldnt understand dialogues but anyway it was JUST PERFEEEECCCCCTTTTTT!!!!

I loved this game, played it on a mac back in 2000. Very fun, entertaining gaming. They don't make em like this anymore
Me too
I remember that this game here in Brasil was considered the best computer game of the year back in 95... nostalgic !
I remember playing this awesome game and the curse of monkey Island with my brother, what a time it was! I would give anything to go back. :(
My mum found this in the garage! She played it when she was a teenager herself. She told me about it and I decided to play it. I'm going to put the disc in now!!!
tentacle day is great too and there s a remastered version, if u like that kind of game
Sam and Max is also great. Day of The Tentacle is great too.
That's cool!, I'd say, Sam'n'Max, Day of the Tentacle and then Full Throts. (possibly switch dott and s&m)
"My mum [...] She played it when she was a teenager "
I feel so fucking old right now.
Man. She really was a good mother/gamer girl, wasn't she?
I love the voice dubbing in this game. All voices are so spot on!
Corly: He wants to take over the company. Sell it off to foreigners. Start making mini-vans. You understand me?! MINI-VANS!!
HAHAHA! Another serious "arson, murder, and jaywalking" example in fiction yet again.
I'm not putting my lips on that........
This was one of my all-time favorites growing up, even though I was only 5 when it was released I played the hell out of it many many times!

I used to play this game back in 95!.. Im 32 Years old and I would pay whatever price to get a new release of FullThorttle for ps4... Great Sh##t!!!
At least you've got a PS4... enjoy, dude!

Fernando Sotomayor you got your wish

The remaster is out on PS4 next year! Watch the trailer which came out yesterday!
2:01:19
That's the voice of Tress MacNeille playing the character Suzi.
She is also the voice of Agnes Skinner, Principal Skinner's mom in The Simpsons.
This is among the finest art games ever made, a true classic
I remember this game as a kid! Holy shit I thought this was the most advanced game at the time.
llJORDANll I had a magazine with a walk through, i would have been 11 or so... first game i ever finished and i ride motorbikes... Awsome
+llJORDANll Used to play this when I was like 5 haha
+llJORDANll It was very advanced for the time, 95-96
"You know what might look better on your nose?
"What?" *grabbed

*"The bar."*
There's also something about Ben and Father Torque's conversation that I love. The noise of their bikes sounds like the Incom T-47 Snowspeeder from The Empire Strikes Back.
I freaking LOVE those things, man.
Yeah, that was the scene they put in the demo on the cd that came with PC Gamer Magazine that got me to buy this game. Great line, none the less.
Oh god the nostalgia.... I remember playing this on the PC at my mom's workplace like 18 years ago. I got stuck halfway through because I couldn't find that damn Cavefish hideout. Glad to finally see the parts I never got to. Such a well-written game...
Lol the Star Wars reference at 54:43
"Help me, Ben, you're my only hope!"
these graphics are actually moreimmersive than than new games because its like between a narative and visuals so you still draw on your own imagination
Thanks for the video! I used to love this game, and I'm really glad that there's a no-commentary version of it!

"Some Joker took my keys." How prescient!
Come on ben, your my only hope !!
Batman the animated series came out in '92, this game came out in '95, so I'm pretty sure this is a reference.
just had a faint memory of the ramp scene flash through my mind. Had to Google motorcycle games from the 90s to find the name of this game and really glad I was able to, I must've been about 4 or 5 when I played this. Awesome nostalgia
This was and still one of the best games I ever played. Such a classic!
Remaster coming 18th April!! Played the shit out of this game as a kid! :D
I finally found this freaking game, it was a vague memory but i remembered...damn its so great, I remember liking the bike fights, its almost everything i recall, so it was hard for me to find...It was great to see my brother play it...thanks for the upload

This is definitely one of my favourite! ASMR and nostalgia for teenage time! I just can't get enough of watching and listening to this original Full Throttle clip! So in love with it!
Love that big smile "UH-HUH" nod from Emmet.
When that first track plays 👌
At 2:40:14, the credits start to get really crazy.
Omg I never noticed that!!
Shit you wouldn't see in today's AAA titles. 😂
I love the music and the GUI when interacting with the environment. this is an all around great game aesthetically
A fantastic game! Great graphics! Love the songs at the end. Thanks for the upload.
If I ever win the lottery, I am going to get a real life version of that bike and ride around to the Gone Jackals music.
Thanks for the lift! :) made my day today when I wasn't ready to pass it all through again via ScummVM
OMG, back in the 90's!
Perfection! So many childhood memories
loved every second, even the mistakes were familiar well done
"Warning! Do not play in or around dumpster. Do not kick dumpster. Do not sleep in dumpster. Usage of this container for the disposal of human remains, may be in violation of local health ordinances."

"Help me Ben, you're my only hope"

I had thought NOTHING could POSSIBLY top NES games...until FULL THROTTLE ( and TWISTED METAL 2) turned me around. Unbelievably well-rounded movie/live finger-action/ puzzle solving/ rock n' roll serenade all rolled into 1 AWESOME game.
Ah sweet nostalgia.. also, I just caught the star wars reference, "Help me Ben, you're my only hope." gg LucasArts.
And the cave fish look like tusken raiders
54:41 "help me obi wan, you're my only hope"
A masterpiece

Damn! been looking for this game for 20 years! I played it when I was about 5 or 6 years old. I didn't know how the game was called and barely remembered any visual thing it had... just a slight memory of the place on 23:48.

Thanks for the upload! good stuff! enjoyed this game back in 1995.
=== HD remake has been announced ===
Full Throttle Remastered is the title.
+AltFireSucker Its coming to PS4, PS Vita, and PC in 2017.
+Benjámin Kurilla (bbenjoe) Hmmm.. Although a rehaul of the fighting system is in order, there's just no beating the nostalgia of the pixelated graphics.
+Squiglypig I had this ritual - every summer holidays playthrough of this game ...You can't beat the nostalgia. And Im all in for the HD remaster !

Try Scummvm. It will run flawlessly!
Flavio Lira Will do. Thanks!
"When I'm on the road I'm indestructible, no one can stop me"
I was offered that game when I got my tonsil operation at 12... one pretty cool childhood memory, the ice cream, the blood... but mainly the game :)
That song playing out of Todd's trailer is called "Increased Chances" and if you listen carefully to the words of the song, it's describing what happens as an aftermath of a war, or a description of a warzone, it is a song of protest.
"You will need more than a cane when i'm through with you Ripburger." Epic
I say this without fear of contradiction or hyperbole. Full Throttle is the greatest video game ever.
"Your ears are fine. It's what's between them that scares me."
I wonder if Corley meant Ripburger's face (so ugly it scares him) or Ripburger's brain (a thinking machine creating diabolical/scary plans to get rid of Malcolm)
This was one of my first PC games. I remember I didn't understand english back then, but I loved the graphics haha Memories
I used to have this game. Awesome!!
This game was amazing.
Great vid, I remember playing the demo in 95 on a pc that could barley run it, loved seeing the game to the end.
2:05:05 "Ben, what are you doing? Get over here and nail me!" :P
"Run, Ripburger. When it's time to find you, we'll just follow the shiny trail"
I'm not exactly sure what he means by "Shiny Trail."
Mark Hamill was in this game? Holy crap. I played this game as a teenager but never realized.
But this game is great, needs a real HD remake. Would sell great on steam.
Actually I think Mqrk voices three diff characters!!
shingnosis Your wish came true.
this needs to be a movie staring Bruce Campbell directed by John Carpenter
Yeah only the Campbellinator has the chinnage to play Ben.
this is one game i would love to see redone for todays standards
I think it would be a great animate movie.
***** Ya Lucas cancelled it
almost all of Lucas Art games were kick ads during that time. I also loved The Dig by Spielberg. nice music too.
Shame LucasArts last great non-Star Wars game is Grim Fandango.
@@michaelandreipalon359 I know. They were great at making fun and challenging games.
"But I'm still chasin'... ..chitlin's, whiskey, and skirt"
"help me ben you're my only hope" I got this reference now; I didn't 18 years ago
I'm not puttin my lips on that.
lol i posted the same thing
I don't think I ever played a video game that was anything like this one.
true classic, always good to remember!
Stumbled across this and rememberes there were a few Lucas Arts adventures I didn't play back then. Actually didn't think this one was as good as it seems to be by watching a bit of this :)
Best thing about it is the fact that I can leave you a hoof bump /)
lolol your fails on old mine road were quite entertaining
2:08:48...awesome engine sound in full stereo...!
what are u doing ben, get over there and nail me 😂
I sure wish they would re-release this.
It's on Gog.
They don't make games like this now. It's sad. =(
Man... I wish I could hear that intro again in the blocky gloriousness of my old-ass Windows 95 PC with Soundblaster 3 xD
THIS GAME! I never had a chance to play it when it first came out and now I do. Thanks for the vid (y)
47:43 must the ambush, Polecats suddenly framed for murder. Shouldn't have left the gang there indeed, Ben.
Listen UP!!!! No one can dislike Full Throttle classic game, other wise i will come to your home and will ask you to open UP your door.
Some observations
1:00:23 Wow he put that fuel hose on fast!
1:29:00 If he got the booster then how did the other bike boost away?
2:13:20 safe code is faintly printed here, easy to miss. Notice he has a more postive sounding 'hmm' when you click on it.

Waiting for that remaster...
Absolutely a classic game
2018 Legends never die
I've been trying to remember the name of this game for so long! I remember playing this as a kid but I kept getting stuck somewhere. Time to return to it and finally beat it.
