Opponents -
1. Mario.EXE originates from a piece of art on Deviantart titled "Super Horror Mario". It then became a game titled "Mario.EXE".
2. GB takes the appearance of Mario in the game "Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins", which released for the GameBoy.
3. This version of Luigi comes from the Creepypasta "I HATE YOU". In it, his attempts to kill Mario, but fails. His appearance is based on his zombie form after Mario knocked him off a bridge into lava. The Boos are enemies seen in the Creepypasta while the "I HATE YOU!" on the wall also comes from the Creepypasta. The two Mario's that pop up are references to the Mario clones Luigi uses to attack Mario in the Creepypasta.
4. This version of Luigi comes from the Luigi's Mansion Spaceworld Beta. Due to a lighting error, Luigi's shadow seemed to hang itself. When the lightning strikes in the mod, Boyfriend's shadow can be seen doing the same.
5. The Wario Apparition originates from Super Mario 64 Spaceworld 95 at E3 1996. His popularity grew from the "Every Copy of Mario 64 is Personalized" Creepypasta. His left pose is a reference to a commercial for Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, where he tries to hypnotize the viewer to destroy Mario.
6. MX originates from the Mario '85 Demo, a game heavily inspired by Sonic PC Port. The head seen on the right is that of Lucas, the victim of the Creepypasta. He is also best friends with Lord X.
7. Racist Mario originates from the 2014 RUclips video titled "Racist Mario" by Flashgitz. In it, he gets annoyed by non-Nintendo characters appearing in Mario Kart. As such, he goes on a murderous rampage, killing anyone in his way. These include Sonic, Knuckles, Anakin Skywalker, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Sackboy, Toad, Crash Bandicoot, and Kratos.
Man, that Luigi’s Mansion beta game over gave me nightmares as a kid.

The first bonus song is based off a creepy pasta called "I hate you Mario" which is luigi getting really really jealous that Mario gets everything and no one notices Luigi at the end of the creepy pasta Mario is forced to kill Luigi in self defense and Luigi falls into lava or something
The second bonus song with Luigi sad is based off the space world trailer (which was basically E3 back then) where you was originally timed to find Mario in Luigi mansion
If you don't find Mario fast enough Mario is forever trapped into the painting and Luigi is kicked out the mansion
Meaning Luigi basically killed Mario cause he couldn't save him in time
Or atleast from my understanding
The third bonus song is called "warios apparition" which is technically just basically everyone have different memories with different stuff happening in super Mario 64 (example some people remembering that you can ride Yoshi dispite this never happening) so some people remember wario head in the wet dry world room and he chases you

The last bonus song is based of "MX' which is a Mario creepypasta fan game where you play as Luigi (which is actually an 8 year old boy called Lucas.)
Lucas was just trying to play Mario Bros but something was wrong with his copy (or something like that) and MX actually was there and he killed a toad before noticing you. After he see you (lucas/Luigi) you have to run away
To the beginning of the level where you go into a pipe. That's all that we know since it's a demo as of now
And the Freeplay song called "race traitors" is based off a RUclips animation called "racist Mario" where Luigi and other Mario kart characters invite other non Mario kart characters to play Mario kart
Mario starts losing and he's gets pissed asf and starts killing everyone
Then at one point Mario gets a bullet bill and says the N word
That's everything and it's story from my knowledge
EDIT: in the Luigi mansion song with Luigi holding a flower there is a thunder strike and it shows bf hanging himself. This is based off a old creepy pasta where there was a lighting error and Luigi shadow was above him on the roof making it look like luigi hung himself.
