This mod is based on the "Secret History of Sonic & Tails". In the video, Tails is obsessed with being Sonic's best friend, going as far as killing Knuckles and Shadow. When Sonic denies being his best friend, he and Amy get attacked by an enraged Tails wielding Amy's hammer. This is the last Sonic and friends see of Tails. At the end, a morbidly obese Tails is shown making people look like Sonic, then killing them. Knuckles's appearance during the final song is the result of a stress-induced flashback for Sonic.
Mhm, knuckles just lost half of his head, which is really bad to begin with But in the animation all we saw of shadow was part of his leg, and everything else was gone.
Fun fact: Sonic was hallucinating when he was seeing knuckles due to the intense stress
