I also noticed a lot of fun details on the UI during it, most people probably recognize the fire bar lowering your health in bowser's section, but in the duck hunt segment every time your health goes down BF's icon flashes white, the old NES zapper really read the brightness of where you were pointing it and used that to tell if you hit the ducks, so just like that they'll turn into white squares for a frame whenever you shoot them
OK I gotta agree with this one other sonic. We got beat now by the NES and the Nintendo 64, and PlayStation doesn’t matter if you’re on undefeatable I can say this sonic classic we are the our game systems dead plus they make another one we’re not going on the game consoles like anytime soon
"Nourishing Blood" is basically a big love letter to a man by the RUclips name of Vargskelethor, better known by the name Joel. He made a video about Mario bootlegs, but he also made a bunch of other content, represented by all those characters in the background running around. The song "Dark Forest" references a creepypasta/SMW ROM named 'the, also known as Coronation Day in the files. The ROM shows Peach having been seemingly possessed by some sort of demonic creature in a forest, which is why she calls herself the "king of this forest". The scene with Mario dead in a cabin also references a part in the game where Mario builds a cabin.

So, No Hope is based on an old animation series made for Newgrounds called Power Star. It's a story about Mario being possessed by a host of Boos who then seek out the titular Power Stars throughout the kingdom to gain great power and slaughter all.
This mod is actually incredible, just the fact that basically every song is different than the other really adds quality, so sad we didnt get a good ending tho. Lets see what happens with pico.
So if you actually pause on each level it gives you a detailed description of each musical stage and what lore is mentioned. I think it's really neat because it's really fast paced, but I wish the game would tell players that otherwise ^-^

I didn’t doubt the quality of this mod going in, I did doubt if it would be my kind of thing, I thought it would be more along the lines of the Sonic.exe mod, which for Mario, I wasn’t too interested in seeing, but it turns out this is more so taking from the weird corners of Mario existence, largely community-based stuff, and doing some pretty cool stuff with it, which I’m very into.
Thats part of the reason that this is one of the few mods I actually really enjoy alot, it pulls from so many weird corners of the internet at times and does something unique with them and love that about it. Helps that this is really high quality too, the effort is insane

Got this randomly recommended so I played the vid in background while working on something to listen back to (almost)all these jammer tracks. Gotta give credit, this was a nice watch! Instead of ridiculously abnoxious or non existend reactions this definitely feels like a gameplay with commentary-type video, some small talks, goofing around and actually acknowledging what is happening ingame, neato. That comedic timing at 23:41 was funny. Also damn, talk about skills. Dude can keep playing for 2 hours with no breaks keep up like near 100% accuracy and yet still stay calm and talk every so often.
As it turns out, the water in Abandoned (Classified Luigi track) is one of the FNF things that doesn't quite multiply/divide properly for framerate, so higher framerates make it go a lot faster Rising and falling is usually balanced, but that moment at the end where it gets raised so close to the top means the faster rising can sometimes get you defeated in between your chances to lower it

Sorry for sharing this information late. As a lot of you may thought, at minute 34:02 there's a jumpscare where Luigi says something. Most people hear him saying Bowser, but, he is actually saying a Spanish / Peruvian phrase "Causa". It could either mean the popular Peruvian food "Causa Rellena" or Luigi calling out Mario as a friend because in Spanish "Causa" is usually used to reffer someone as a friend or pal.

Overdue, is based off a Mario creepy pasta game called too late, you are Mario and you are in the normal Mario 3 environment but the beginning soon turns onto Mario seemingly mourning his brother holding his hat and looking depressed,it keeps getting weirder when you spot your brother at the end of level one, it then turns into the mangled Luigi in the song. He keeps making appearances and at one point he breaks the screen in half, truly a masterpiece.

Instead of ridiculously abnoxious or non existend reactions this definitely feels like a gameplay with commentary-type video, some small talks, goofing around and actually acknowledging what is happening ingame, neato. That comedic timing at 23:41 was funny.

Rising and falling is usually balanced, but that moment at the end where it gets raised so close to the top means the faster rising can sometimes get you defeated in between your chances to lower it
