Was coming to say the same. What the video calls her “TriBeCa” was the West Village Cornelia street place. You can see a whole tour of it since it’s on the market it still looks mostly the same
Taylor’s properties are very different & eclectic, just as she is, in her many different personal styles & her music. She seems to be very curious, love history, & have a lot of appreciation for the stories in each home. She’s a marvelous, complex person!

Taylor's NOT a Native of Nashville, as said in the video. Her parents moved the fam there at Taylor's request so she could pursue a career in music! I think she was only about 12 or 13 at the time. Anyone else know how old she was?

Yes she was born near Reading Pa but Taylor herself says she’s from Nashville where she moved at about 12 years of age. She is not native but Taylor usually states in interviews that she is from Nashville.

❤ I have had many homes in my life I'm 72 years old my husband and I built huge homes absolutely ridiculous I would never live in a big house anymore I'd be just happy and a 380 sq ft home I see things differently and how stupid and Relentless it was to buy and spend all that money on something that's frivolous I'd rather help other people❤
Taylor missed out on university, so probably doesn't know about Maslow's theory of self actualization. Money does buy security and comfort; yet I hope she is doing more good in the world than we currently know about.

The NY complex is interesting. The townhome is very artsy and minimalist. I want to see what her penthouse terrace is like. A garden in the middle of Tribeca.
You were showing the interior of the Cornelia Street house that she rented in NYC instead of her first purchased Tribeca penthouse properties (that you showed the exterior of) -- prior to your showing her later purchased property next door. It would be good to get it right if showing interiors at all.

These homes are investments for her. She moved to NYC from Nashville which means to me that NYC is her permanent home. But the taxes are so high there that it doesn't make sense.

And she buys places that are close together because she has a HUGE team when she’s working on big projects, tours, etc, and often puts everyone up for days and weeks at a time to collaborate. Kind of acts like a giant collective space. She’s also TSwift, she has a lot of friends, she likes to entertain, and is nice enough to, again, put people up.
She also has extensive studio spaces & writing rooms - specific & special places where she does most of her work - in those houses/apartments.
It makes plenty of sense for a prolific artist like her. And her family, her mom especially, spends a lot of time with her, goes on tour with her, etc.
I’d bet they have a designated space for themselves in one of those spaces.
It also makes complete sense, from a financial/investment perspective. She’s being smart with her money.
Not sure what the criticism is for; she works INSANELY hard for all of that. Real sweat bought those places.
She’s incredibly generous to every single person involved in her work, donates millions & millions to charities & other good causes every year. Good people who work hard deserve to spend their hard-earned money. This is how society functions. She’s causing no harm. (If anything, she’s increased the property values around her😏).

Lol, my boyfriend’s grandfather lived in the same neighborhood as Taylor (in Nashville). I only saw the place once before they moved to a new neighborhood but it was like 11,000 sq ft, three stories, an elevator… ridiculous. Didn’t actually go by Taylor’s home, he just told us she had a place there (then never showed us which one it was 😭) but yeah, I can tell it would be a part of the same “neighborhood” (area is more like it)
Forest Hills! I had to wait for them to say it bc it totally slipped my mind. Yeah he sold it in like 2014 for $4 million and I think paid a little over $2 million. Taylor’s home might be smaller in square footage but it has a classier look (sorry, his grandfather is a bit of a jerk, lol).
