@FightingGameLegend There's no trailer yet, but it's confirmed that there are 2 sequels and 2 spin-off shows planned. The Batman grossed around 4x the budget of the film. Warner doesn't spit in the face of nearly a billion dollars just from tickets, let alone merchandising. They're profit driven, and The Batman was highly profitable. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when, and supposedly that's 2025. Finally someone who sees the importance of Harvey Dent! I love the idea of using him as a supporting lead, and really all your character ideas! I’ve been saying for ages that Bruce should be the one who “kills” Nora in his ignorance of what goes on at his own company! It’s a much more relevant way to adapt Heart of Ice than the usual Ferris Boyle story everyone’s clamoring for. The idea of Bruce’s greatest battle being his inability to open up is perfect, and I would be very happy if the story we got was anything like this!
Imo Boyle is still necessary as an instrument of Bruce’s own ignorance and Gothcorp is a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises. Bruce’s people order the shutdown of Fries program and inadvertently gets Nora killed.

I honestly loved this! The idea Batman can’t truly beat Mr Freeze in a fist fight, but has to talk to him. He would have to say the few words that every real man must say: “I’m sorry.” I don’t know if by this point, Mr Freeze has actually fully become him, with the disease, but I would love a scene where Batman, cures Mr Freeze. Also I would love it if you did a part two to dive deeper into the second and third act. Awesome video.

i loved this story, my mother recently died at 62 of Alzheimer's and that being how Freeze lost nora is a wonderful and powerful motivation for him, losing someone to Alzheimer's is slow, and painful, like theyre slowly being frozen over, it robs you of time and communication with your loved ones. ive always loved how tragic and moving his story and motivations were. it truly allows the reader to empathize and try to understand him. id love to see how matt reaves' character and person focused storytelling would translate something like this
I’m currently losing my grandmother to it, same as how she lost her mother. It’s the most awful thing I’ve had to witness happen to another person in my life. My honeybee was always a fiercely independent and tough woman who wouldn’t take shit from anyone, but now that she’s slowly losing her functions we’re forced to take away her freedom and she can’t understand why. The fierceness that made her so strong has turned into downright cruelty in retaliation. It’s absolutely heartbreaking to see
This is incredible man! Heart of Ice was the first time I genuinely felt for a villain. Mr Freeze deserves a spotlight that does him justice. I hope Matt explores his character eventually, such high hopes for his universe. It was cool to see (yet another) Joker but I really wish they explore more personalities in Batman's rogues gallery. Hush would be cool, Court of Owls, Poison Ivy, Man-Bat, Killer Croc, Mad Hatter, ect. Such potential that I'm sure Matt will deliver on. He can take all the time he needs to make the sequel, I'll be here for it!
I really like the idea of spending more time with Bruce Wayne in the sequel then with Batman. In the first film Bruce Wayne was basically non-existent, but in the sequel we could see Bruce grow and learn to connect with people and learn how to make a difference in Gotham without his fists and fancy gadgets. I also like the idea of him learning how to be charming and social from Harvey Dent, I think it's brilliant.
Yes. And in the third one, he is actually starting to like being Bruce Wayne, he is becoming better, and he is still deep down still angry and feeling guilty for what the Batman identity caused in the first one. Inspiring Riddler, causing fear and making him distant from his loved ones. So all of that leads to him becoming a much better person and more embracing Bruce Wayne. However, he is starting to slowly neglect Batman, and it's not a good thing. There are things that's only Batman can do, and can still inspire people and do right, even if he's made mistakes in the past with it as well. So he has to learn to not shun away from the identity, but to rebuild it, and reshape it to being better now that he is a better person.
Alex, your writing for The Batman II: Heart of Ice was amazing. This writing in this narration lets me know, that Jason is going to be great. Because Alex understands the hero in the superhero. Something that most superhero filmmakers don't understand. That pitch for Mr. Freeze was just a piece of art for any superhero film. A villain isn't bad because he wants to be bad, a villain is bad because he tries to be good or is good no matter what and he is either mistreated or misunderstood. But how it should be always, they can be understood by the hero. A real hero would try to save the villain because that hero understands the villain, not to fight him because it looks cool. That is one thing I hate about superhero movies. Once again, after this story and essay, I can't wait for Jason.
Oh my gosh Alex... I loved this. Every detail. Every expression you want to convey. The power and emotion that would come from this film would be masterful and beautiful. I don't know why the heck you're not in Hollywood creating such a work of art, but please whatever happens, please never lose this idea.

How original, moving, and powerful. Thanks for this, I didn't grow up with DC but loved Batman as soon as I saw it, and you have captured what makes not only him but the story telling around him so special. One issue with this script/idea is that Batman doesn't do any of the detective work, maybe instead of Freeze outing himself Bruce should be the only person who figures out his backstory by uncovering the archives of the Wayne Industries. Maybe even make it a subplot about the corruption inside the company, where some of the higher ups covered up the incident with Victor. Otherwise nice work, I watch all the videos. :)
I definitely agree that Bruce should do more detective work and Freeze should be less of a “let me tell you about myself” villain lol, but I think what HiTop was going for is the idea that Bruce’s ignorance is what “created” Freeze, so corruption in the company could take away from that theme

This is genius. The twist of Batman having the heart of ice which plays off of Victor is something I love. It serves as more of character development for Bruce Wayne, forcing this orphaned child to hide his heart and replace that heart with anger taking it out on the city. Vengeance that he directs towards everyone around him even while not within the batsuit
Imagine the connection bruce could make to mr freeze. Victor, who ends up hurting people in an effort to protect the wife he loves, and bruce, who also hurts and pushes away everyone in his life in some vein of “protection” Loved the vid btw.
easily my favorite chapter 2 concept! i like the idea that batman is forced to feel powerless to help people without his suit on hand and has to navigate the situation as Bruce Wayne. i feel like the roads would be so icy that he wouldn’t even be able to use the bat mobile on that side of the city too taking away yet another of his resources. i’ve been waiting so long for a big screen adaptation of mr freeze especially for chapter 2 and honestly i would love for it to go like this! + the addition of Harvey Dent is a nice touch, i don’t know if it would be a good idea for his transformation to happen in chapter 2 rather than 3 because that might be too Dark Knighty but i would love to see it happen at the hands of Maroni like it does in the comics. the heart of ice story is one of the best plots batman comics has to offer imo and you adapted it very well! Bruce having a heart of ice is a genuinely great twist! and i love the direction you took with him taking his character growth from the last movie too far and not being able to cope with the fact that he can’t save everyone. i think a Bruce centered movie is exactly what the story needs atm so good job! 10/10

Really love the idea of Mr. Freeze being the next villain. One of the rogues gallery I’d say deserves another movie chance, though I would also personally like to see the Scarecrow come into it. Since he didn’t really get to be front and centre in the Arkham Knight game I think a city already consumed in fear and devoid of hope would lead Johnathan Crane into pursuing his dream. I’d definitely have Harvey Dent present in some form similar to this, though I’d like to have some point when perhaps Scarecrow is the one to cause Harvey’s accident. Since it has to be more grounded within the universe, scarecrow could still work even with his fear gas, from the use of drugs and research of phobias. His end game being that he wants to keep Gotham in a constant state of terror, he wants to be to Gotham what Batman is to criminals. I also wouldn’t mind having Killer Croc in there, Scarecrow having his hideout within the complicated sewer network of Gotham, having discovered and persuaded Croc to be his ‘bodyguard’ and beast under Gotham to form another myth/legend of Gotham like Batman is. Croc only accepting under the promise Crane makes to do all he can to change him back to a ‘human’. I think that Croc wouldn’t be as he’s represented nowadays as a fully man Croc kind of villain, but instead a man cast out of human society because of his condition that (like in his origin) causes scales to grow all around his body, finding solitude within the sewers where he can be himself. Having sharpened his teeth and adapted since childhood to the sewers. The conflict being that Batman has to deal with another individual who utilises his skills of fear and intimidation but somehow seems to far exceed him, a challenge that isn’t intimidated. However I would really love to have scarecrow be more than his fear gas, I’d want to have him present an actual threat to Batman and Bruce Wayne alike, perhaps by facing off with him in a therapy session similar to Kings of Fear. Drugs being used against Batman whilst the session continued through the middle of the story. This is where hallucinations and the creativity of visuals would shine. Making him truly scared of scarecrow, maybe even leaving his cowl behind and improving himself as Bruce Wayne. The ending being that he would need to move past his fears (whatever they may be, bats, his parents legacy etc) to face the reality that is the threat of scarecrow. Perhaps Crane could be a doctor at Arkham, or even the head of the hospital itself. Upon the ending we see the new heads paper work, Hugo Strange. And after credits, Harvey wakes up, seeing his disfigured face after whatever (not sure yet) and all you hear is his hellish, disfigured voice scream before it cuts to black.
I personnaly would also like to see Harvey Dent as a side character kinda like Gordon was in the first movie. As much as i loved Aaron Eckhart's take on the character i always felt like he lacked a genuine friendship with Bruce to be as tragic as his comic book counterpart. Maybe don't make him Two face just yet but just establish him as one of the few honest people in Gotham. I would also love to see Pyg, Croc or Zsasz as creepy side villains.
literally a perfect sequel. Alex is one of the best storytellers i’ve heard, his earnestness is contagious and beautiful, and he has an incredible imagination and such a wonderful way of expressing it. he inspires me to be vulnerable and to express my love of things, and that’s the best.

I have an idea for the mad hatter that he’s like the villain in David Cronenbergs the Brood (played by Oliver Reed) or the character played by Robert De Niro in the movie “Red Lights”. Or even Philip Seymour Hoffmann character in The Master. He’s like a fraudulent magician/ cult leader that takes advantage of the weak, and the mentally ill. I feel like you could draw from Batman: Cult as well.

@@scott19087 Mads would work; he's got that amazing voice of his and he'd nail it, especially with that "warm hand" monologue. His brilliant filmography speaks for itself, especially his performance as Hannibal Lecter and Kaecillius in Dr Strange. I even liked his Promised Land movie.

you know what would be really cool, if they did something like spiderman 2. Where Bruce becomes depressed and empty. He doesn't want to be batman anymore and he gives it up. He starts making plans to rebuild and reshape Gotham, but some people don't want him to. Bruce was sentenced to death, but not by the Gotham court system. But by the court of owls. They attempt to kill Bruce by sending a group of talons to his home. Bruce barely survives, the talons have more skill then him. Bruce visits his parents grave, he screams in agony. "why." the court of owls surprise attacks him, kidnapping him. He awakens in the court's labyrinth. Bruce spends weeks in the labyrinth without food. He is weak, hungry, hurt. The court is awaiting for his trial. Idk kind stupid but sounds kind cool.
I've always wanted an emotional scene in a Batman film similar to the emotional web swinging scene in Spider-man 2, we see Batman struggling but he's gliding over the city he sees it from above and the guilt is weighing down heavily
This is a very good pitch idea, and certainly better than any ideas I had, but there are some potential drawbacks I could see with this: 1. This seems very short, and only like half of the plot for a full-length Batman film, especially coming right off of The Batman. 2. There doesn't seem to be anywhere close to an adequate amount of action/batman scenes. Yes, this was addressed in the video and is intentionally more focused on Bruce Wayne, but the truth is that if a movie was made strictly along the lines outlined in this script, it would be considered underwhelming and a letdown, and I could easily see some people considering the ending anti-climactic I think that the general tone, themes and aesthetic of this works perfectly, but there simply doesn't seem to have enough meat in the story to have a full length $200 Million Film to be made around it. As an aside, Mads Mikkelsen or Bryan Cranston would make a perfect Mr. Freeze. And Michael Giacchino should utilize Carol of the Bells for Mr. Freeze's theme the same way he used 'Ave Maria' for The Riddler and have it set around Christmas.
I love your ideas! I think though that clayface would be an excellent villain for one of these movies. Youd have to do some serious heavy lifting to make him fit because he really is a bit ungrounded then the rest are (he has superpwers) but it provides a good background for a batman story like this if you could connect him to the universe. He works for a detective story because he could be anyone, anywhere, which is terrifying. He also could really mess with Bruce as this version hasnt even heard of someone who isnt quite human, who he cant chase down or fight or anything (directly). Dunno how to make clayface a good character in this universe thats so real, though, but if you could do it it would work so well. Plus, clayface has never gotten a spotlight ever, really, outside of like 3 comics and as a side character in the Harley Quinn show. He deserves to be scary I think.

Excellent pitch. Love the actual building of Harvey and Bruce’s relationship. Never really bought it in the animated series. If they plan on going the two face route they should build that relationship over a couple films, not just the one he’s introduced in. Love the angle on mr freeze. Reminds me of the BTAS episode “Cold Comfort” Didn’t know your storytelling chops were this strong. The idea of your Jason Todd film had my curiosity, but now it has my attention. Keep up the great work good sir.
Amazing story, you had me so immersed and captivated from start to finish. The transition from the flooded streets of Gotham to sheets of Ice, and the profuse rain turning into snow seems stunningly beautiful to me. Love the slow climactic buildup to the Joker for the 3rd movie of the trilogy, how he was teased in the end credits of the first movie. This is my take below, extremely long but bear with me My take would be to introduce the Joker somewhere towards the end of the movie. As the city is frozen over, people suffering in the cold, and as Mr Freeze demands for Bruce Wayne, the city turns on Bruce, people storm Wayne Manor looking for him, police goes out to try and arrest and get hold of him. (This could be the sub-plot) Eventually as Wayne cant fight his way out like Batman, he gets arrested. While he is in lockup and the police is deciding what to do with him and whether they should turn him into Mr Freeze. Bruce demands to speak with the Mayor, while in a private conversation with her in the interview room, he confesses to her that he is Batman, and that she needs to let Bruce out so that he can suit up and be Batman and fight Mr Freeze. She is hesitant at first but remembers how Batman saved her in the Riddler's floods. Bruce races back to the Batcave to get suited up. Meanwhile while all that is happening, the Joker escapes from prison as goes to find Mr Freeze, the man responsible for Gotham's current condition. Joker takes the opportunity to talk to a lonely Mr Freeze, comforting him as Bruce Wayne should have, but Bruce had disappeared to get suited up as Batman, choosing the Batman persona over Bruce yet again, a grave mistake. The Joker inspires a little anarchy into Mr Freeze, turning his sadness of his wife, to hatred towards Bruce. Then the Joker disappears. Now Mr Freeze is more vengeful, more hateful, he steps out of Wayne enterprises and proceeds the freeze the whole fucking building, screaming in pain, agony, and hatred as he does. This shows the power scaling of Mr Freeze and just how dangerous he is. Most of the building was already evacuated, however there are a few handful of staff left, who went up to the roof instead. One of them is Bruce's secretary who was introduced earlier when Bruce was entering the building at the start of the movie. Now comes the finale, Batman finally shows back up to Wayne enterprises, standing outside on the frozen road, and finds Mr Freeze as he's trying to level and collapse the whole building. Mr Freeze doesn't want to fight or kill Batman, he looks up to Batman and respects him his good deeds and saving the city during the Riddler's floods. However, he demands for Bruce Wayne otherwise he'll level the fucking building. He explains that there's no point of fighting or trying to shoot or kill him as the freeze tanks on his back will explode if his pulse stops, causing all the surrounding blocks and everybody nearby to freeze up. Batman knows he cant fight Mr Freeze, he's simply outmatched, police cant shoot him. And in desperation as Mr Freeze is about to level the building, Batman takes off his mask, revealing himself as Bruce to Mr Freeze and to the surrounding police. Mr Freeze is speechless, unsure of what to do now. The one man he wanted to kill for his incompetence and negligence to the people, is also the man he admired for saving people. Bruce talks to Mr Freeze and apologises for his negligence, and vows to take more responsibility as Bruce Wayne for his company and for the city. Mr Freeze has a change of heart. However, it is now revealed that the Joker is still in the surrounding crowd of police, dressed as a police officer as only police is allowed near the building, and shoots Mr Freeze. Freeze's pulse weakens and his tanks are about to explode, Bruce charges forward and tackles Freeze into the building Wayne enterprises, as Freeze is about to pass out, he apologises to Bruce for what he has done, Bruce promises to fund the research for the disease Freeze's wife had. Bruce runs out of the building as Freeze explodes and blows up the base of the building, the building starts to topple and collapse (huge awesome cgi scene). Everybody on the roof dies💀. Or Catwoman could return after seeing Gotham's frozen condition to help Batman and then she rescues the people on the roof. Anyways this sets up for an epic Joker Vs Batman movie. Also helps that now the police has seen Batman's real identity, perhaps they side with him now and help him to conceal his identity by not spreading it. So the next movie could have the police helping Bruce. If you read through the whole thing, thank you HAHAH, took me over an hour to type that out.
I'd really love to see Dick Grayson introduced in part two. The opening scene being Bruce at the circus watching Dicks parents die would be my ideal opening. Great video would love to see more of your fan fiction, superman legacy pitch next?
I love this idea so much, and I would probably much prefer this than whatever matt is making right now, but it is a batman film, and I believe it does need atleast one action sequence with batman, with the costume, this is all great and I love how rich and deep the story and charecters are, but it feels a tad bit incomplete without one action sequence with the batman
I'd love a murder mystery where bruce is framed for the murders because clayface gaining his powers cause a psychotic break due to his new found dysmorphia. Since he has no albi and can't explain his nights he looks very suspect. It could have an undertone of gotham fearing him then learning to trust his family name after the tarnishing from the first movie. And throughout the story there's moments where somebody's arm snaps but there's no crunch and little things that show clayface as been there the whole time but the little give aways are to easy to miss in all the excitement

I don't think Matt Reeves is going in this direction.. But Idc, It's always incredible and interesting to see a very well thought out, a Very richly character driven Batman story. And I feel like you deeply understand these characters and their correlation to each other. And I feel like you know how to pick and choose each character properly. You know how they used “Something in the Way” by Nirvana for the first movie? I want them to use Everlong by the Foo Fighters, Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden, or Heaven Beside You by Alice in Chains for one of the sequels. Having 90s grunge as the soundtrack for these new Batman Films would be sick.
Overall this is amazing ,there are some things that I don't like so much like the lack of Batman and lack of other characters involvement but this is still very good. I literally paused the video when you said Bruce was the one with a Heart of Ice ,that was amazing.
I think The Batman: Part 2 can go three ways. I'll number each idea 1) I was thinking, before the green substance turned out to be adrenaline, we could do an adaptation of Batman: Venom. No main villain in mind except for Batman, himself. Batman, now attempting to be more hopeful, becomes more active. Particularly during the day. Following the events of The Riddlers flood, Batman tries to save a little girl, trapped under rubble. He isn't strong enough to move the rubble and save her, so she dies. This sends Bruce into a worse depressive state, but with the same goal in mind. To supplement his lack of strength, he develops the green substance into something worse with help from an unnamed man. The green substance turns into venom. Batman is now addicted to Venom, and he's become stronger, but in the process, lost his humanity. Now he fights to beat this addiction 2) Down the Rabbit hole- Batman is up against Hugo Strange, who attempts to dive into Batmans mind. To help, he has Jervis Tetch (the Mad Hatter), who is doing this under the promise he will find his Alice. If the first movie was a step into Batman's mind, this is a dive into the ocean. Most of this movie is in Batman's mind, say for the scattered scenes of Hugo's Interrogation. Everytime he flips back and forth between dreams, he screams in anguish and the screen flickers. This is agony 3) Heart of Ice- Trying his best to be Bruce and Batman, Bruce inadvertently ignores what is right beneath him. The people of Wayne Enterprises. Victor Freis becomes Mr Freeze due to mismanagement of his wife and research under Ferris Boyle (Bruce's head of R&D). He takes his journey for vengeance to far and kills the parents of Dick Grayson. Alfred notices Bruce's growing neglect and saddles him with a burden more challenging than anything he's ever faced, a child. He now has two lost souls to save. A child reflection of himself, and his reflection born of his neglect. With a Robin by his side and a blizzard in his wake, he must stand strong and lead Gotham to a brighter future
As always, you have such a gripping way with words and feelings! It's not my ideal pitch for a sequel (I don't think the movie should be stuck in Wayne Enterprises for so long, I think there's a lot of act 2 stuff that's missing in a sense, making the film feel almost short), but I think it's a great idea/basis for what it should be, and I'd love to see elements of this in the final product! Great job!! For me, personally, I'm not sure what I want. I definitely want Mr. Freeze, I'd want to see some other villains like the first movie, and I'd want Bruce to really work on being hope, but how I don't totally know yet. But like you, as long as the movie continues to focus on the hope and the heart, then I'm satisfied!
There was a fan trailer once of a Joker-Style Mr. Freeze solo film with Sterling K. Brown. It made me realize I think Sterling K. Brown would be a Great Matt Reeves universe Mr. Freeze. He has an emotional depth that I feel like he could bring a whole new level of crippling sadness and emotional tragedy that Mr. Freeze is most known for. And also build up that level of intimidation and strong-willed determination within the character. Is there going to make Mr freeze the villain of the Batman sequel, I nominate Sterling K. Brown as Mr Freeze.
I really hope you see this: The stories you create are genuinely outstanding. It is clear that you have genuine heart in what you come up with and the stories are up to standards of what you would expect to see in the cinema. Keep it up!
Dear Alex ❤ I have a brilliant idea for James Gunn to hire Matthew Vaughn as the director of Superman: Legacy🦸🏻♂️ because he's one of the directors who understand human-emotions and reflect them through there films/art, he smartly used comedy to make us connect with the characters, also he is wanted to direct a solo project on Superman, that will be an amazing dichotomy if Gunn hired him for Superman Legacy🦸🏻♂️ His comedy, human-drama, action set-pieces, connectivity makes me feel alive, also that'll be another superhero masterstroke with the perfect amalgamation of comedy, action, emotions & drama within the same story, last time that movie was Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero 🐉
John David Washington as Harvey Dent? Brilliant casting. He and Robert had great chemistry in Tenet. I love the bit in which Bruce and Harvey have a heart-to-heart and show each other their real selves and Bruce talking about his past. That's so amazing, I'd be disappointed if we don't see it with Harvey in the sequel. I like that Bruce has to struggle with the public persona in your scenario. Also like that the conclusion tells us Bruce Wayne is as vital as Batman. Now onto why I don't think this works: I don't think Warner Bros will ever approve of such synopsis. There seems to be very little Batman here and we know executives want there to be more of the titular superhero to sell more tickets. They pressured Matt Reeves to film more action scenes with Batman in the first movie after all. Another reason I believe we can't have something like this is the tone and the genre. Matt Reeves has described his Batverse as a "crime saga" and seems to emphasise on Detective Batman. And there is not much detective work/crime going on here. He's also said he wants Batman to be front and centre of Part II but here Mr. Freeze is sorta stealing the show. Additionally, Bruce being responsible for Freeze's pain is slightly repetitive. Like we know from the first movie already that his inattention caused damage. Using this plotline for the main villain again sounds redundant. Besides, blaming Bruce for this is a little strange. Bruce wasn't in charge of the company. Freeze has to seek vengeance on someone else.

I might be in the minority here, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the first Reeves Batman. I didn't care about Bruce and therefore I didn't care about Batman. This plot not only would make me appreciate the first movie more, but it would give us the kind of depth on screen in live-action we haven't seen since Mask of the Phantasm. I love your idea of Bruce being challenged. Don't you think the Scarecrow would be a better villain? Challenge his fear and solidify his belief in what he's doing, and maybe the lessons he learns through Cranes fear toxin will help him to calmly interact with Victor Freis in the next film. You could still include all of the interactions with Harvey, and maybe show some foreshadowing of "Big Harv" so at the end of the film when he gets horrifically scared in the damage it makes sense that he has that anger/rage inside the good person that was Harvey Dent. This part could lead to the 3rd Batman film, which focuses on the duality of Bruce/Batman. Thoughts? Thank you for putting this together, I thoroughly enjoy these! Especially when it comes to Batman.

I love the idea of the belfry being so far from the only loved one he has. I like to think that the belfry is inside the clock of one single tower, the same tower where he escaped the police in the first movie. The police station that he ran away from, he has come back but for a different purpose. Now Batman, while listening to police radio, looking at screens, pictures, videos, solving cases, he is also listening from the cops inside the station. Listening to Gordon and every other cop because Batman has become an addiction. He feels that he needs to be everywhere at once. Batman is the addiction Bruce Wayne needs to be the cure.
Very cool concept for film 2. I think another way they could go with film 2 is to bring in The Court of Owls. Remember when Colson said during the bomb scene: “People are watching. So much bigger than you could imagine. It’s the whole system”, that could easily have been the court of owls he was mentioning. What if, now that Gotham has been put under water, Bruce tries to use this as an opportunity to use his money and influence to try to build back Gotham in a more hopeful and optimistic way. But at the same time, the court of owls starts to attempt to do the same thing, but tries to make it in THEIR image. Trying to hand pick their puppets to put in place that answer ONLY to them. This would make Bruce question if his city is truly even worth saving, as he always thought of this group as nothing more than a myth. That would make Batman have to walk a fine line between, battling the court of owls and inspiring fear among their ranks, and at the same time, having to continue to try to be a symbol of hope in Gotham and it’s people.
i'd like them to be a force in the shadow, like the string puppets more, who control behind the shadows. They could've made some appearance in the sequel but only lead up to part 3 of the trilogy so that'd make them the final act
This is amazing. I love your idea of the movie forcing Bruce out of the suit, and that's something I hope they address in the next film. I hope they introduce Barbara and the Robins in the Reeves Cinematic Universe, and after the hints they dropped in The Batman, I really want to see Hush.
It occurred to me after James Gunn’s announcement about The Brave and The Bold that if they’re focusing on Damian as Robin in that, they could do a grounded story with early Dick Grayson in Reeves’ movies to differentiate the series (assuming Dick will be Nightwing in The Brave and The Bold)
This was basically my idea for the sequel, something you did I liked a lot was adding Harvey, and having Bruce the main character over Batman. I had the se premise to Mr Freeze, had his motivation being the cutting of his science department of Wayne industries. Leading him to have to makeshift a suit and a cryochamber for Nora. The lesson was to Have Bruce be as dedicated to a philanthropy and running a good business as much as he is Batman

@FightingGameLegend There's no trailer yet, but it's confirmed that there are 2 sequels and 2 spin-off shows planned. The Batman grossed around 4x the budget of the film. Warner doesn't spit in the face of nearly a billion dollars just from tickets, let alone merchandising. They're profit driven, and The Batman was highly profitable. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when, and supposedly that's 2025. However, being that all of this is still in pre-production, it's likely that some of these projections and plans will change along the way.

Finally someone who sees the importance of Harvey Dent! I love the idea of using him as a supporting lead, and really all your character ideas! I’ve been saying for ages that Bruce should be the one who “kills” Nora in his ignorance of what goes on at his own company! It’s a much more relevant way to adapt Heart of Ice than the usual Ferris Boyle story everyone’s clamoring for. The idea of Bruce’s greatest battle being his inability to open up is perfect, and I would be very happy if the story we got was anything like this!

I honestly loved this! The idea Batman can’t truly beat Mr Freeze in a fist fight, but has to talk to him. He would have to say the few words that every real man must say: “I’m sorry.” I don’t know if by this point, Mr Freeze has actually fully become him, with the disease, but I would love a scene where Batman, cures Mr Freeze. Also I would love it if you did a part two to dive deeper into the second and third act. Awesome video.

i loved this story, my mother recently died at 62 of Alzheimer's and that being how Freeze lost nora is a wonderful and powerful motivation for him, losing someone to Alzheimer's is slow, and painful, like theyre slowly being frozen over, it robs you of time and communication with your loved ones. ive always loved how tragic and moving his story and motivations were. it truly allows the reader to empathize and try to understand him. id love to see how matt reaves' character and person focused storytelling would translate something like this

I’m currently losing my grandmother to it, same as how she lost her mother. It’s the most awful thing I’ve had to witness happen to another person in my life. My honeybee was always a fiercely independent and tough woman who wouldn’t take shit from anyone, but now that she’s slowly losing her functions we’re forced to take away her freedom and she can’t understand why. This is incredible man! Heart of Ice was the first time I genuinely felt for a villain. Mr Freeze deserves a spotlight that does him justice. I hope Matt explores his character eventually, such high hopes for his universe. It was cool to see (yet another) Joker but I really wish they explore more personalities in Batman's rogues gallery. Hush would be cool, Court of Owls, Poison Ivy, Man-Bat, Killer Croc, Mad Hatter, ect. Such potential that I'm sure Matt will deliver on. He can take all the time he needs to make the sequel, I'll be here for it!
I really like the idea of spending more time with Bruce Wayne in the sequel then with Batman. In the first film Bruce Wayne was basically non-existent, but in the sequel we could see Bruce grow and learn to connect with people and learn how to make a difference in Gotham without his fists and fancy gadgets. I also like the idea of him learning how to be charming and social from Harvey Dent, I think it's brilliant.
Yes. And in the third one, he is actually starting to like being Bruce Wayne, he is becoming better, and he is still deep down still angry and feeling guilty for what the Batman identity caused in the first one. Inspiring Riddler, causing fear and making him distant from his loved ones. So all of that leads to him becoming a much better person and more embracing Bruce Wayne.
However, he is starting to slowly neglect Batman, and it's not a good thing. There are things that's only Batman can do, and can still inspire people and do right, even if he's made mistakes in the past with it as well. So he has to learn to not shun away from the identity, but to rebuild it, and reshape it to being better now that he is a better person.

Alex, your writing for The Batman II: Heart of Ice was amazing. This writing in this narration lets me know, that Jason is going to be great. Because Alex understands the hero in the superhero. Something that most superhero filmmakers don't understand. That pitch for Mr. Freeze was just a piece of art for any superhero film. A villain isn't bad because he wants to be bad, a villain is bad because he tries to be good or is good no matter what and he is either mistreated or misunderstood. But how it should be always, they can be understood by the hero. A real hero would try to save the villain because that hero understands the villain, not to fight him because it looks cool. That is one thing I hate about superhero movies. Once again, after this story and essay, I can't wait for Jason.
Oh my gosh Alex... I loved this. Every detail. Every expression you want to convey. The power and emotion that would come from this film would be masterful and beautiful. I don't know why the heck you're not in Hollywood creating such a work of art, but please whatever happens, please never lose this idea.

One issue with this script/idea is that Batman doesn't do any of the detective work, maybe instead of Freeze outing himself Bruce should be the only person who figures out his backstory by uncovering the archives of the Wayne Industries. Maybe even make it a subplot about the corruption inside the company, where some of the higher ups covered up the incident with Victor. Otherwise nice work, I watch all the videos. :)
I definitely agree that Bruce should do more detective work and Freeze should be less of a “let me tell you about myself” villain lol, but I think what HiTop was going for is the idea that Bruce’s ignorance is what “created” Freeze, so corruption in the company could take away from that theme

This is genius. The twist of Batman having the heart of ice which plays off of Victor is something I love. It serves as more of character development for Bruce Wayne, forcing this orphaned child to hide his heart and replace that heart with anger taking it out on the city. Vengeance that he directs towards everyone around him even while not within the batsuit
Imagine the connection bruce could make to mr freeze. Victor, who ends up hurting people in an effort to protect the wife he loves, and bruce, who also hurts and pushes away everyone in his life in some vein of “protection”

easily my favorite chapter 2 concept! i like the idea that batman is forced to feel powerless to help people without his suit on hand and has to navigate the situation as Bruce Wayne. i feel like the roads would be so icy that he wouldn’t even be able to use the bat mobile on that side of the city too taking away yet another of his resources. i’ve been waiting so long for a big screen adaptation of mr freeze especially for chapter 2 and honestly i would love for it to go like this! + the addition of Harvey Dent is a nice touch, i don’t know if it would be a good idea for his transformation to happen in chapter 2 rather than 3 because that might be too Dark Knighty but i would love to see it happen at the hands of Maroni like it does in the comics. the heart of ice story is one of the best plots batman comics has to offer imo and you adapted it very well! Bruce having a heart of ice is a genuinely great twist! and i love the direction you took with him taking his character growth from the last movie too far and not being able to cope with the fact that he can’t save everyone. i think a Bruce centered movie is exactly what the story needs atm so good job! 10/10

Really love the idea of Mr. Freeze being the next villain. One of the rogues gallery I’d say deserves another movie chance, though I would also personally like to see the Scarecrow come into it.
Since he didn’t really get to be front and centre in the Arkham Knight game I think a city already consumed in fear and devoid of hope would lead Johnathan Crane into pursuing his dream. I’d definitely have Harvey Dent present in some form similar to this, though I’d like to have some point when perhaps Scarecrow is the one to cause Harvey’s accident. Since it has to be more grounded within the universe, scarecrow could still work even with his fear gas, from the use of drugs and research of phobias. His end game being that he wants to keep Gotham in a constant state of terror, he wants to be to Gotham what Batman is to criminals.
I also wouldn’t mind having Killer Croc in there, Scarecrow having his hideout within the complicated sewer network of Gotham, having discovered and persuaded Croc to be his ‘bodyguard’ and beast under Gotham to form another myth/legend of Gotham like Batman is. Croc only accepting under the promise Crane makes to do all he can to change him back to a ‘human’. I think that Croc wouldn’t be as he’s represented nowadays as a fully man Croc kind of villain, but instead a man cast out of human society because of his condition that (like in his origin) causes scales to grow all around his body, finding solitude within the sewers where he can be himself. Having sharpened his teeth and adapted since childhood to the sewers.
The conflict being that Batman has to deal with another individual who utilises his skills of fear and intimidation but somehow seems to far exceed him, a challenge that isn’t intimidated. However I would really love to have scarecrow be more than his fear gas, I’d want to have him present an actual threat to Batman and Bruce Wayne alike, perhaps by facing off with him in a therapy session similar to Kings of Fear. Drugs being used against Batman whilst the session continued through the middle of the story. This is where hallucinations and the creativity of visuals would shine. Making him truly scared of scarecrow, maybe even leaving his cowl behind and improving himself as Bruce Wayne. The ending being that he would need to move past his fears (whatever they may be, bats, his parents legacy etc) to face the reality that is the threat of scarecrow.
Perhaps Crane could be a doctor at Arkham, or even the head of the hospital itself. Upon the ending we see the new heads paper work, Hugo Strange. And after credits, Harvey wakes up, seeing his disfigured face after whatever (not sure yet) and all you hear is his hellish, disfigured voice scream before it cuts to black.

I personnaly would also like to see Harvey Dent as a side character kinda like Gordon was in the first movie. As much as i loved Aaron Eckhart's take on the character i always felt like he lacked a genuine friendship with Bruce to be as tragic as his comic book counterpart.
Maybe don't make him Two face just yet but just establish him as one of the few honest people in Gotham.
I would also love to see Pyg, Croc or Zsasz as creepy side villains.

I have an idea for the mad hatter that he’s like the villain in David Cronenbergs the Brood (played by Oliver Reed) or the character played by Robert De Niro in the movie “Red Lights”. Or even Philip Seymour Hoffmann character in The Master.

you know what would be really cool, if they did something like spiderman 2. Where Bruce becomes depressed and empty. He doesn't want to be batman anymore and he gives it up. He starts making plans to rebuild and reshape Gotham, but some people don't want him to. Bruce was sentenced to death, but not by the Gotham court system. But by the court of owls. They attempt to kill Bruce by sending a group of talons to his home. Bruce barely survives, the talons have more skill then him. Bruce visits his parents grave, he screams in agony. "why." the court of owls surprise attacks him, kidnapping him. He awakens in the court's labyrinth. Bruce spends weeks in the labyrinth without food. He is weak, hungry, hurt. The court is awaiting for his trial. Idk kind stupid but sounds kind cool.
I've always wanted an emotional scene in a Batman film similar to the emotional web swinging scene in Spider-man 2, we see Batman struggling but he's gliding over the city he sees it from above and the guilt is weighing down heavily
This is a very good pitch idea, and certainly better than any ideas I had, but there are some potential drawbacks I could see with this:
1. This seems very short, and only like half of the plot for a full-length Batman film, especially coming right off of The Batman.
2. There doesn't seem to be anywhere close to an adequate amount of action/batman scenes. Yes, this was addressed in the video and is intentionally more focused on Bruce Wayne, but the truth is that if a movie was made strictly along the lines outlined in this script, it would be considered underwhelming and a letdown, and I could easily see some people considering the ending anti-climactic
I think that the general tone, themes and aesthetic of this works perfectly, but there simply doesn't seem to have enough meat in the story to have a full length $200 Million Film to be made around it.
As an aside, Mads Mikkelsen or Bryan Cranston would make a perfect Mr. Freeze. And Michael Giacchino should utilize Carol of the Bells for Mr. Freeze's theme the same way he used 'Ave Maria' for The Riddler and have it set around Christmas.

I love your ideas! I think though that clayface would be an excellent villain for one of these movies. Youd have to do some serious heavy lifting to make him fit because he really is a bit ungrounded then the rest are (he has superpwers) but it provides a good background for a batman story like this if you could connect him to the universe. He works for a detective story because he could be anyone, anywhere, which is terrifying. He also could really mess with Bruce as this version hasnt even heard of someone who isnt quite human, who he cant chase down or fight or anything (directly).
Dunno how to make clayface a good character in this universe thats so real, though, but if you could do it it would work so well.
Plus, clayface has never gotten a spotlight ever, really, outside of like 3 comics and as a side character in the Harley Quinn show. He deserves to be scary I think.

Excellent pitch. Love the actual building of Harvey and Bruce’s relationship. Never really bought it in the animated series. If they plan on going the two face route they should build that relationship over a couple films, not just the one he’s introduced in.

Amazing story, you had me so immersed and captivated from start to finish. The transition from the flooded streets of Gotham to sheets of Ice, and the profuse rain turning into snow seems stunningly beautiful to me. Love the slow climactic buildup to the Joker for the 3rd movie of the trilogy, how he was teased in the end credits of the first movie. This is my take below, extremely long but bear with me

As the city is frozen over, people suffering in the cold, and as Mr Freeze demands for Bruce Wayne, the city turns on Bruce, people storm Wayne Manor looking for him, police goes out to try and arrest and get hold of him. (This could be the sub-plot) Eventually as Wayne cant fight his way out like Batman, he gets arrested. While he is in lockup and the police is deciding what to do with him and whether they should turn him into Mr Freeze. Bruce demands to speak with the Mayor, while in a private conversation with her in the interview room, he confesses to her that he is Batman, and that she needs to let Bruce out so that he can suit up and be Batman and fight Mr Freeze. She is hesitant at first but remembers how Batman saved her in the Riddler's floods. Bruce races back to the Batcave to get suited up. Meanwhile while all that is happening, the Joker escapes from prison as goes to find Mr Freeze, the man responsible for Gotham's current condition. Joker takes the opportunity to talk to a lonely Mr Freeze, comforting him as Bruce Wayne should have, but Bruce had disappeared to get suited up as Batman, choosing the Batman persona over Bruce yet again, a grave mistake. The Joker inspires a little anarchy into Mr Freeze, turning his sadness of his wife, to hatred towards Bruce. Then the Joker disappears. Now Mr Freeze is more vengeful, more hateful, he steps out of Wayne enterprises and proceeds the freeze the whole fucking building, screaming in pain, agony, and hatred as he does. This shows the power scaling of Mr Freeze and just how dangerous he is. Most of the building was already evacuated, however there are a few handful of staff left, who went up to the roof instead. One of them is Bruce's secretary who was introduced earlier when Bruce was entering the building at the start of the movie. Now comes the finale, Batman finally shows back up to Wayne enterprises, standing outside on the frozen road, and finds Mr Freeze as he's trying to level and collapse the whole building. Mr Freeze doesn't want to fight or kill Batman, he looks up to Batman and respects him his good deeds and saving the city during the Riddler's floods. However, he demands for Bruce Wayne otherwise he'll level the fucking building. He explains that there's no point of fighting or trying to shoot or kill him as the freeze tanks on his back will explode if his pulse stops, causing all the surrounding blocks and everybody nearby to freeze up. Batman knows he cant fight Mr Freeze, he's simply outmatched, police cant shoot him. And in desperation as Mr Freeze is about to level the building, Batman takes off his mask, revealing himself as Bruce to Mr Freeze and to the surrounding police. Mr Freeze is speechless, unsure of what to do now. The one man he wanted to kill for his incompetence and negligence to the people, is also the man he admired for saving people. Bruce talks to Mr Freeze and apologises for his negligence, and vows to take more responsibility as Bruce Wayne for his company and for the city. Mr Freeze has a change of heart. However, it is now revealed that the Joker is still in the surrounding crowd of police, dressed as a police officer as only police is allowed near the building, and shoots Mr Freeze. Freeze's pulse weakens and his tanks are about to explode, Bruce charges forward and tackles Freeze into the building Wayne enterprises, as Freeze is about to pass out, he apologises to Bruce for what he has done, Bruce promises to fund the research for the disease Freeze's wife had. Bruce runs out of the building as Freeze explodes and blows up the base of the building, the building starts to topple and collapse (huge awesome cgi scene). Everybody on the roof dies💀. Or Catwoman could return after seeing Gotham's frozen condition to help Batman and then she rescues the people on the roof. Anyways this sets up for an epic Joker Vs Batman movie. Also helps that now the police has seen Batman's real identity, perhaps they side with him now and help him to conceal his identity by not spreading it. So the next movie could have the police helping Bruce.

I love this idea so much, and I would probably much prefer this than whatever matt is making right now, but it is a batman film, and I believe it does need atleast one action sequence with batman, with the costume, this is all great and I love how rich and deep the story and charecters are, but it feels a tad bit incomplete without one action sequence with the batman
You shouls make a one of these but with the Scarecrow. He would fit perfectly in this universe.

I'd love a murder mystery where bruce is framed for the murders because clayface gaining his powers cause a psychotic break due to his new found dysmorphia. Since he has no albi and can't explain his nights he looks very suspect. It could have an undertone of gotham fearing him then learning to trust his family name after the tarnishing from the first movie. And throughout the story there's moments where somebody's arm snaps but there's no crunch and little things that show clayface as been there the whole time but the little give aways are to easy to miss in all the excitement

You know how they used “Something in the Way” by Nirvana for the first movie? I want them to use Everlong by the Foo Fighters, Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden, or Heaven Beside You by Alice in Chains for one of the sequels. Having 90s grunge as the soundtrack for these new Batman Films would be sick.
Overall this is amazing ,there are some things that I don't like so much like the lack of Batman and lack of other characters involvement but this is still very good. I literally paused the video when you said Bruce was the one with a Heart of Ice ,that was amazing.

I think The Batman: Part 2 can go three ways. I'll number each idea
1) I was thinking, before the green substance turned out to be adrenaline, we could do an adaptation of Batman: Venom. No main villain in mind except for Batman, himself. Batman, now attempting to be more hopeful, becomes more active. Particularly during the day. Following the events of The Riddlers flood, Batman tries to save a little girl, trapped under rubble. He isn't strong enough to move the rubble and save her, so she dies. This sends Bruce into a worse depressive state, but with the same goal in mind. To supplement his lack of strength, he develops the green substance into something worse with help from an unnamed man. The green substance turns into venom. Batman is now addicted to Venom, and he's become stronger, but in the process, lost his humanity. Now he fights to beat this addiction
2) Down the Rabbit hole- Batman is up against Hugo Strange, who attempts to dive into Batmans mind. To help, he has Jervis Tetch (the Mad Hatter), who is doing this under the promise he will find his Alice. If the first movie was a step into Batman's mind, this is a dive into the ocean. Most of this movie is in Batman's mind, say for the scattered scenes of Hugo's Interrogation. Everytime he flips back and forth between dreams, he screams in anguish and the screen flickers. This is agony
3) Heart of Ice- Trying his best to be Bruce and Batman, Bruce inadvertently ignores what is right beneath him. The people of Wayne Enterprises. Victor Freis becomes Mr Freeze due to mismanagement of his wife and research under Ferris Boyle (Bruce's head of R&D). He takes his journey for vengeance to far and kills the parents of Dick Grayson. Alfred notices Bruce's growing neglect and saddles him with a burden more challenging than anything he's ever faced, a child. He now has two lost souls to save. A child reflection of himself, and his reflection born of his neglect. With a Robin by his side and a blizzard in his wake, he must stand strong and lead Gotham to a brighter future
As always, you have such a gripping way with words and feelings! It's not my ideal pitch for a sequel (I don't think the movie should be stuck in Wayne Enterprises for so long, I think there's a lot of act 2 stuff that's missing in a sense, making the film feel almost short), but I think it's a great idea/basis for what it should be, and I'd love to see elements of this in the final product! Great job!!
For me, personally, I'm not sure what I want. I definitely want Mr. Freeze, I'd want to see some other villains like the first movie, and I'd want Bruce to really work on being hope, but how I don't totally know yet. But like you, as long as the movie continues to focus on the hope and the heart, then I'm satisfied!
There was a fan trailer once of a Joker-Style Mr. Freeze solo film with Sterling K. Brown.
It made me realize I think Sterling K. Brown would be a Great Matt Reeves universe Mr. Freeze.
He has an emotional depth that I feel like he could bring a whole new level of crippling sadness and emotional tragedy that Mr. Freeze is most known for.
And also build up that level of intimidation and strong-willed determination within the character.
Is there going to make Mr freeze the villain of the Batman sequel, I nominate Sterling K. Brown as Mr Freeze.
I really hope you see this: The stories you create are genuinely outstanding. It is clear that you have genuine heart in what you come up with and the stories are up to standards of what you would expect to see in the cinema. Keep it up!

I have a brilliant idea for James Gunn to hire Matthew Vaughn as the director of Superman: Legacy🦸🏻♂️ because he's one of the directors who understand human-emotions and reflect them through there films/art, he smartly used comedy to make us connect with the characters, also he is wanted to direct a solo project on Superman, that will be an amazing dichotomy if Gunn hired him for Superman Legacy🦸🏻♂️
His comedy, human-drama, action set-pieces, connectivity makes me feel alive, also that'll be another superhero masterstroke with the perfect amalgamation of comedy, action, emotions & drama within the same story, last time that movie was Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero 🐉
John David Washington as Harvey Dent? Brilliant casting. He and Robert had great chemistry in Tenet. I love the bit in which Bruce and Harvey have a heart-to-heart and show each other their real selves and Bruce talking about his past. That's so amazing, I'd be disappointed if we don't see it with Harvey in the sequel.
I like that Bruce has to struggle with the public persona in your scenario. Also like that the conclusion tells us Bruce Wayne is as vital as Batman.
Now onto why I don't think this works:
I don't think Warner Bros will ever approve of such synopsis. There seems to be very little Batman here and we know executives want there to be more of the titular superhero to sell more tickets. They pressured Matt Reeves to film more action scenes with Batman in the first movie after all.
Another reason I believe we can't have something like this is the tone and the genre. Matt Reeves has described his Batverse as a "crime saga" and seems to emphasise on Detective Batman. And there is not much detective work/crime going on here. He's also said he wants Batman to be front and centre of Part II but here Mr. Freeze is sorta stealing the show.
Additionally, Bruce being responsible for Freeze's pain is slightly repetitive. Like we know from the first movie already that his inattention caused damage. Using this plotline for the main villain again sounds redundant. Besides, blaming Bruce for this is a little strange. Bruce wasn't in charge of the company. Freeze has to seek vengeance on someone else.

@@sup3414 He is a good actor, but Harvey Dent is Bruce Wayne's peer. That's part of the story. Pattinson's Bruce is 30 at most and Harvey's actor should be around his age. 40 at most. Jon is great but too old.
I might be in the minority here, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the first Reeves Batman. I didn't care about Bruce and therefore I didn't care about Batman. This plot not only would make me appreciate the first movie more, but it would give us the kind of depth on screen in live-action we haven't seen since Mask of the Phantasm. Can anyone forward this to Reeves himself????? *prays vigorously*
I love your idea of Bruce being challenged. Don't you think the Scarecrow would be a better villain? Challenge his fear and solidify his belief in what he's doing, and maybe the lessons he learns through Cranes fear toxin will help him to calmly interact with Victor Freis in the next film. You could still include all of the interactions with Harvey, and maybe show some foreshadowing of "Big Harv" so at the end of the film when he gets horrifically scared in the damage it makes sense that he has that anger/rage inside the good person that was Harvey Dent.
This part could lead to the 3rd Batman film, which focuses on the duality of Bruce/Batman.

I love the idea of the belfry being so far from the only loved one he has. I like to think that the belfry is inside the clock of one single tower, the same tower where he escaped the police in the first movie. The police station that he ran away from, he has come back but for a different purpose. Now Batman, while listening to police radio, looking at screens, pictures, videos, solving cases, he is also listening from the cops inside the station. Listening to Gordon and every other cop because Batman has become an addiction. He feels that he needs to be everywhere at once.

Very cool concept for film 2. I think another way they could go with film 2 is to bring in The Court of Owls. Remember when Colson said during the bomb scene: “People are watching. So much bigger than you could imagine. It’s the whole system”, that could easily have been the court of owls he was mentioning. What if, now that Gotham has been put under water, Bruce tries to use this as an opportunity to use his money and influence to try to build back Gotham in a more hopeful and optimistic way. But at the same time, the court of owls starts to attempt to do the same thing, but tries to make it in THEIR image. Trying to hand pick their puppets to put in place that answer ONLY to them. This would make Bruce question if his city is truly even worth saving, as he always thought of this group as nothing more than a myth. That would make Batman have to walk a fine line between, battling the court of owls and inspiring fear among their ranks, and at the same time, having to continue to try to be a symbol of hope in Gotham and it’s people.
i'd like them to be a force in the shadow, like the string puppets more, who control behind the shadows. They could've made some appearance in the sequel but only lead up to part 3 of the trilogy so that'd make them the final act

This is amazing. I love your idea of the movie forcing Bruce out of the suit, and that's something I hope they address in the next film. I hope they introduce Barbara and the Robins in the Reeves Cinematic Universe, and after the hints they dropped in The Batman, I really want to see Hush.
It occurred to me after James Gunn’s announcement about The Brave and The Bold that if they’re focusing on Damian as Robin in that, they could do a grounded story with early Dick Grayson in Reeves’ movies to differentiate the series (assuming Dick will be Nightwing in The Brave and The Bold)

I had the se premise to Mr Freeze, had his motivation being the cutting of his science department of Wayne industries. Leading him to have to makeshift a suit and a cryochamber for Nora. The lesson was to Have Bruce be as dedicated to a philanthropy and running a good business as much as he is Batman
