The "after image" technique that Cell referred to is a classic Roshi technique that Goku learned on his first try - it involves moving so quickly that it appears as if there is another image of yourself, sometimes multiple images. Cell was confused because the images themselves don't move once they're created. Goku appeared to have created one that not only moved, but passed through cell and several yards beyond him.
Just a cool technique variation that you never see again and was never explained. I chalk it up to Goku being a fighting prodigy and being able to improvise high-level techniques on the fly.
Ah yes, the Zanzouken, truly a Dragonball classic.

If i remember dragon ball, She was trained by her father,the ox king ,and he was trained by master roshi with grandpa gohan... Her father and granpa gohan grew up together like krilin and goku.. or am i remember it wrong?

Ki or Chi is life energy. All of the main fighting cast can manipulate it to enhance their physical abilities, and all races can learn it. It just so happens that the alien races do it much more naturally e.g Namekians learning to fly when they are children (according to Dende).
yeah Mr. Satan is still massively superhuman. he'd kick the shit out of half the avengers. he's just low tier in his own universe because of his refusal to admit ki exists.

Chiaotzu isn't technically human, no?
Chiaotzu is modeled after a Jiangshi, a kind of zombie/vampire creature from Chinese folklore, which would technically mean he's undead. But then he dies and goes to the afterlife in both the original DB and Z, so I guess the show just treats him as human... though he never seems to age.
Tien's third eye is based on the Taoist belief that reaching enlightenment opens your third eye, or mind's eye, allowing you to observe auras and see the future. Tien's improved 'sight' does play a part in some of his DB fights, letting him see through afterimages and predict/keep up with faster opponents. How he got his third eye is never explained.
It's actually much funnier than just her being pissed he didn't remember her. She litteraly showed up after they hadn't seen each other for around a decade, got pissed he didn't recognise her, then coerced him into marying her by holding him accountable for a promise he actually never made.

In the Dragon Ball universe, "human" (at least in Japanese) are synonymous to "mortals". The population on Earth are called "Earthling". That term includes :
- humanoids natives to the planet (i.e. Krillin, Yamcha, Bulma, Mr Satan, etc)
- anthropomorphic beings (i.e. King Furry, weremen who are "wolfmen" that turn into "human" under a full moon, that one rabbit mafia boss that turned people into carrots, etc),
- dinosaurs
- sentient animals (i.e. Turtle)
- Earthling-alien hybrids (i.e. Tien)
- whatever Chiatzu is in-universe (he's based on Chinese zombies, but his in-universe species was never specified AFAIK)
Excluding Saiyans and Namekians, the Z-Fighters are just regular Earthlings. They are comparable to super-heroes because they learned to use Ki (which is present in every living things), which they use to strengthen their muscles, produce energy beam, and fly. In theory, Mr Satan could be like them if he wanted to, as he's the strongest non-Ki user on Earth (excluding cyborgs like 17 and 18) and his daughter also learned to fly in the Buu Saga.
2:26 he's like the 4th strongest human at this point in time. Honestly the fact he could survive that proves it even if Cell wasn't going all out he did beat Jesus' respawn time
Probably around 7th tbh, behind Krillin, Yamcha, Roshi, Tien, Chiaotzu and probably Chi-Chi as well. There is room for debate on that but that's my read.

Then Goku decided to honor his childhood promise, despite thinking marriage was a type of food when they were little. And even after the marriage he couldn't understand why she wanted to hold him. It's truly a miracle he was able to have kids.

Chichi: Once we get a little older, will you come take me as your bride ?
Goku: Eh ? Take you as a what ?
Chichi: Ohhh come on! You know what I'm talking about!
Goku: Not Really... If you're going to give me something I'll come take it, thought!
Does that sound like a promise to you ? Chichi coerced Goku into marrying her, by holding him accountable for a promise he never made, I rest my case.

Ok, so, the after image is what Goku learned still as a kid after seeing someone do it in a tournament. It's based on the idea that your opponent sees a copy of you in one spot, but you are moving so fast that you are already gone from that spot before your opponent realizes it.

Then later on in the last World Martial Arts Tournament in DB Chi-Chi takes part in it and eventually one of the fights is Goku vs Chi-Chi. I believe Chi-Chi said if he beat her she would marry him Goku, thinking that marriage was a type of food) agreed and beat her. So out of context it does sound really bad.
I love watching through these with people. Hellsing and YGO are definitely shows I'd recommend, but also there's the TIBA contest, a thing TFS did years ago where they got people to do a bunch of abridged one shots in hopes of getting some more exposure for new talent. Definitely recommend thee winner, star Wrecked, a Star Trek abridged episode.
They're all martial artists. Goku and Krillin trained together as children under The Turtle Hermit, whereas Tenshinhan and Chiaotzu trained under the Crane Hermit, who was the rival of the turtle hermit. Yamcha also trained under the turtle hermit for a while, which is why he often wears the same gi as Goku and Krillin. Up until Goku's brother arrived, everyone just assumed Goku was a human earthling like everyone else.
The saiyans are "special" bexause they're a warrior race obsessed with battle, and because of a few species based perks, such as getting stronger when they recover from near death injuries, which is later basically replaced with Super Satan multiplying their strength. But at the end of the day, Goku is still a martial artist.
The disturbing New Aria scene at the end was a callback to the planet Vegeta and Nappa destroyed in season 1 when Vegeta was a prison b##ch
Ah your comment about Goku being 100% Battle-brained reminded me, as to other shows that have that sorta main character, one recent series you might enjoy: "Reborn to Master the Blade"
Just a 12-episode run, but one that stood out for its action scenes and smart protagonist who only wants to fight. I understand that anime, even lesser promoted ones, are usually a minefield for Reactions. If there's ever a way, though, it'd be a fun under-the-radar show to go through eh.

Cell could feel threatened if they jump him and just destroy the planet. Also saiyans just generally seek for the hardest battles they can get, so it's just in their nature to do reckless shit for funnies
Tien, Krillin etc. are all human. Tien trained under the Crane Hermit before becoming a good guy, who was essentially the evil counterpart to the Turtle Hermit (Master Roshi). Dragon Ball is awesome, and it'd be cool if you reacted to it someday!

Tien is descendent of a race of Triclops aliens but lost most of the abilities from the third eye because of the Crane School training he got. He can grow extra arms and make copies of himself, but we never see him use it in DBZ because the writers decided he forgot how when he stopped being relevant. Krillin and Yamcha are stock human, dunno if they were ever actually shot in the show or not to say one way or the other, but they could catch the bullets pretty easily most likely.
Krillin and Tien are human, though I do forget where the third eye comes from.
Also, hopefully the Christmas special washes your brain out after the...*that* at the end.
To answer the beginning question, I did not start from the very beginning, but instead found you from your Hazbin reactions. Loved your vids so much that I checked out your channel and caught up on some of your other series such as JJBA and this one.
Krillin and Yamcha are the only full blooded humans in the Z Fighters, Tien is technically descended from an alien race I don't remember the species though

The only Saiyans are Goku and Vegeta. And I guess Broly.
Gohan and Trunks are half-Saiyan. Saiyans are an alien race born with tails, black hair and the ability to turn into giant apes. And Super Saiyan.
Tien is also an alien, or at least an alien descendant. Everybody else, except for the obvious ones like Piccolo, are human. Normal human.
Krillin is just a noseless guy with dwarfism, the 6 dots on his head are a Buddhist thing. Yamcha is just a normal desert bandit-turned martial artist.
In the original Satan genuinely believed that the entire thing was faked but slowly realised that it was really happening. But he was determined not to let people catch on because he is obsessed with being perceived as the strongest.
He is kind of a con man, but given the usual standards of Dragonball he falls on the good guy side of the scale.
Tien and Krillin are both human. It's heavily implied that Tien has gone through some kind of training that opened his third eye, but I don't think it's ever specifically stated.
The after image technique relies on someone moving so fast that they appear to be in two places at once, so the fact it keeps moving doesn't really make sense because Goku isn't there to be making the image anymore.
Chi Chi entered the World's Martial Arts Tournament because Goku had promised to marry her when they were 10 but then never came back. Goku didn't even remember her (or even know what marriage was) but after he beat her he said he'd keep his promise anyway.
She's a decent martial artist but not on the scale of most of the characters. She would probably beat Satan though.

Yeah the afterimage is created by moving so fast you appear to be in two places at once, so if the after image is still moving then Goku should still be there.

Mr Satan is strong for a human he is at least as strong as Goku was back at the beginning of Dragonball. He has not trained his Ki at all though so all of his ability is just what he can do physically without enhancement like all of the really strong characters. His daughter Videl learns Ki later and gets stronger for it but never learns more than to fly.
Chi Chi is the strongest non ki using Earthling then probably Mr Satan is next at this point. Tao isn't fully human anymore or he might be in the running.
Also at this time besides his training with King Kai Goku and Krillin have had the same teachers and training except Krillin's has all been at Earth's gravity and no Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Krillin and Yamacha are humans. Tein and Chousu I'm not sure but demons and other spiritual creatures exist in the Dragon Ball world. They thought Piccolo was demon until the Namik saga. I mean the world leader is a dog man and then there's Mr. Popo... I have questions about Killian's lack of nose.
Hercule may actually be the strongest human that is not a Z fighter.
I like to joke that Mr. Satan is stronger than Krillin because when Krillin got hit by perfect cell he was KO'd and needed to be fed a sensu by trunk. Mr Satan got up and walked it off.
his actual strength has to be around first tournament in OG. he's not making it to the finals but he maybe beats yamcha. he's still human with no Ki control but as a gag character he often defies all logic of the DBZ world.

martial artists of certain schools learn ki, most of earth has forgotten this but small areas still do, so there are the occasional humans, like yamcha, krillin, tien and yes, goku, that learn ki and ki control through martial arts

In the final tournament of Dragon Ball, Goku faces Chi Chi in the ring. At first, he can't remember her and this pisses her off because he said he would marry her when they were kids. He rings her out, says he's sorry and that he remembers her, and then she forgives him and they get engaged (despite Goku CLEARLY not understanding what marriage is.)
Fun fact about Goku not understanding that stuff - in Dragon Ball Super it's revealed that Goku and Chi Chi have never kissed and Goku thinks kissing is weird.
