It Has been slow, Today so far one 7lb. Hopefully there will be more Coho then today tomorrow, this evening is windy everyone left. Thanks for commenting🎣
We’ve been fishing for coho down here out of Newport, Dan. We can only retain hatchery fish. Today I caught five natives, and I had to kick every single one of them back into the ocean. I was getting discouraged, but then my rod went off one more time and I found myself netting a 23 1/2 pound Chinook. We can keep those down here. I see you have to release your kings. Great video, Dan!
Have not kept a king in my area for 31 years now, the state is not letting us fish king in 8-2 I'm not happy about it at all! there's something wrong with the hole picture here! you're lucky to fish kings there, area 9 had 4 days only but on my beach it's been 31 years now... Thanks for watching & commenting🎣
@@johnbolton9957 Hi, John! If we get some flatter days, yes. I’m a fair weather ocean guy. But my LOA 20.5 foot North River has been out to the Rockpile in 2-4 and does just fine. See you out there??

Do you sell more than just the herring. My question is if I came down could you help me set up and sell the items needed to fish herring? I’ve never fished this way but would love to learn. Thank you.
